There were a variety of tea cups and some ladies even wore spring hats. We were fed and entertained and lots of fellowship was going on. A good time was had by all, even our youngest lady, Annie seemed to enjoy herself. Prepare yourselves to come to the Ladies Fall Retreat on October 21-23, 2011. It will be at the China Lake Conference Center. Our speaker will be Dr. Jesse Owens. The cost will be $70 per woman and that INCLUDES FOOD AND LODGING. If you are not going to stay overnight, the cost will be $35. You are to bring a Bible, friends, linens, toiletries, towels, layered clothing and snacks. Money is due October 14, 2011. Checks are to be made out to Maine District Sunday School and mailed to Maine District, PO Box 130, Gardiner, ME, 04345. You could have your church help raise the money by having fund raisers for your ladies to go on this retreat. ******** I apologize for not getting an April newsletter out and this one is replacing July s newsletter.
