GLOBALO UTREACHD AY ONE DAY I ONE WORLD I ONE MESSAGE EVERYONE CAN REACH SOMEONE TOGETHER WE CAN REACH THE WORLD

GOD GAVE US God gave us Life He created heaven and earth, men and women 2 Global Outreach Day

GOD GAVE US God our Savior who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:4 His son Jesus died to save us for all eternity A command Jesus commanded all of us to go and to reach the whole world with the Gospel. He said, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mk 16:15 3

THE CHALLENGE The Challenge 6,600 ethnic groups are still unreached 90% of Muslims have never heard the Gospel In the Western world many people have never heard of Jesus Atheists are the fastest growing population group in the USA Over 90% of church members never share the Gospel with others. Why is that? Christians are not mobilized to share the Gospel Christians are not trained to share the Gospel 4 Global Outreach Day

MULTIPLICATION The Power of Multiplication If we could mobilize and enable the body of Christ many parts of the world could be reached within a short period of time. If an evangelist reached 1,000 people a day, he would need 20,000 years to reach the whole world. If an evangelist reached 400,000 people a day, he could evangelize the world s entire population during his lifetime. However, if one Christian discipled one person every week and each new disciple did the same, it would take only 33.5 weeks to reach the whole world! 5

THE VISION The Vision Imagine a day on which every Christian in the world shared the Gospel with others. Many Christians would be mobilized for the first time to intentionally share the Good News. This is an opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission. The vision of the Global Outreach Day is that every Christian shares the Gospel on the same day. Ev ery year, every Christian, every where. On the Global Outreach Day, millions of Christians from many different cultures, age groups, and denominations will use their God-given gifts and opportunities to share the Gospel in various ways. Everywhere. No preacher comes; rather, everyone goes. Every Christian around the world will be encouraged to set aside this special day just like Christmas or Easter. 6 Global Outreach Day

THE VISION Everyone can reach someone. Everyone has something to give. Everyone can learn how to share the Gospel with others. 7

ENDORSEMENTS Endorsements I want to encourage you to go out full force! We are hundred percent involved in this. Pastor Adeboye RCCG. LAGOS, NIGERIA One exciting thing about the day is that it brings Christians together from everywhere to bring the Gospel into the world. Together we can stand for hope and love. Geoff Tunnicliffe Director World Evangelical Alliance The G.O.D. is a simple but genious idea. I encourage everyone to participate! Hanspeter Nuesch CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST The vision I am presenting to our own mission... we want to be evangelizing on that day in every nation of the world and by the following year in every omega zone of the world which includes 4,000 plus locations. Loren Cunningham YOUTH WITH A MISSION The Global Outreach Day is a great way to encourage people to start sharing their faith. The G.O.D. is probably the most significant evangelism of the earth we have ever seen. Steve Douglass.. CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST Cindy Jacobs GENERALS INTERNATIONAL 8 Global Outreach Day

PARTNER Partner What a day! I am part of it, we stand together in it. I fully endorse the G.O.D. with all of my heart. Reinhard Bonnke CHRIST FOR ALL NATIONS YWAM, CfaN, EHC, IHOP, RCCG, World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), Global Day of Prayer, Pentecostal World Fellowship, Luis Palau, Mission America, 24/7 Prayer, jesus.net, Global Media Outreach (GMO), Alpha, Nhclc, Transfer Foundation, HIM, and many others Imagine a Day of Salvation throughout the entire world! It could well be a prophetic picture of Isaiah 49:8 for the 21st Century. What a glorious goal. I believe the Global Outreach Day is destined to become just such a day. Dick Eastman EVERY HOME FOR CHRIST Go out there, step out in faith. Do something you haven t done before! Nick Vujicic LIFE WITHOUT LIMBS Call it the biggest, unified flex of evangelistic muscle in church history. Charisma USA 9

THE STRATEGY STRATEGY 1. Mobilization Mobilizing Christians around the world to share the Gospel in their own way, according to their unique abilities and opportunities. The aim is attainable by anybody reach at least one person on that day. 2. Training Christians worldwide are trained to spread the Gospel by teaching them: how to start a conversation with someone, capture his attention, and lead a conversation; the basics of the Gospel message; how to lead someone to Jesus; and how to disciple a new believer toward a lifestyle of evangelism. 3. Action ONE ON ONE Invite someone over for a cup of coffee and tell him about Jesus. Call a friend or visit someone you haven t seen for a long time. 10 Global Outreach Day TWO BY TWO Gather a group of believers together for a brief time of prayer and introduction, then split up into teams of two to reach the people in that community. CARE AND SHARE Do a good deed, and then share the good news. REACH YOUR AREA Make a plan to reach your neighborhood, your city, your area. Involve many Christians and prepare strategically to reach your area home by home, street by street. Find specific ways to share the Gospel with people who have never heard it.

THE STRATEGY GOSPEL-SHARING IDEAS FROM A-Z: From the airport to the zoo, innumerable opportunities abound to share the Gospel: Book table, children, door-to-door, friendship evangelism, hospital, internet, old-people s homes, open-air meetings, parks, prisons, public transportation, shopping malls... 4. Follow-up The goal is that people will be won for Jesus and will also follow Him afterwards. Therefore we train each believer to lead others into discipleship. As the Great Commission permeates the lifestyles of believers around the world, G.O.D. should also grow into a movement. This Global Outreach Movement can already be seen in several countries (e.g., Mexico) where Christians continue to evangelize together. In Nepal many evangelistic activities continue the first national church planting conference was initiated soon after the G.O.D. and churches are following up new believers throughout the country. The RCCG, a church network with over 30,000 churches in 198 nations, established a monthly evangelism day for all their churches as a result of their G.O.D. involvement. Besides promoting a personal lifestyle of evangelism, G.O.D. also serves as a catalyst for evangelizing entire cities and countries. No preacher comes; rather, everyone goes. 11

PRAYER Prayer G.O.D. works hand in hand with prayer. Partnering with prayer networks like Global Day of Prayer, IHOP, and 24/7, the first G.O.D. began with a prayer meeting where one million Christians prayed for a global breakthrough. Afterwards the believers went out to share the Gospel in their cities and villages. The preparation in prayer includes not only intercession for the outreach day, but every intercessor also prays, Lord, send me, use me. I will be obedient to your word. I will go. 12 Global Outreach Day

PRAYER Kickoff with one million people in Lagos, Nigeria 13

THE MOBILIZATION The Mobilization Christian organizations mobilize for the G.O.D. as follows: Global Day of Prayer 350 million YWAM worldwide EagleWings 300,000 churches Facebook 10 million people Mission America 35,000 leaders RCCG 30,000 churches 40,000 U.S. Hispanic churches HIM 11,000 churches whole denominations and Christian networks in countries like China, India, Russia, and many others In the first two years, according to our partners, 25 million Christians were mobilized for evangelism. 14 Global Outreach Day

ACTION Action 2012 10 million Christians mobilized 25 million people reached with the Gospel One million attended kick-off meeting in Lagos With an extra budget for the G.O.D., Global Media Outreach reached 18,277,415 visitors with about 110 webpages worldwide which resulted in 2,697,817 million decisions for Christ. 2013 15 million Christians mobilized 50 million people reached with the Gospel One million attended kick-off meeting in Lagos 24 million Gospel tracts printed and shared 770,000 training booklets used Almost every home in Nepal reached (These figures are issued by our partners) In two years, according to our partners, 25 million Christians were mobilized for evangelism. 15

TESTIMONIES Brazil A 19-year-old teen mobilized more than one million Christians in about 300 locations in all 26 states. They said it was the biggest mobilization of Christians for evangelism in the history of Brazil. It started at midnight, when masses of Christians posted the following on Facebook: Jesus loves you. Then the Gospel was proclaimed in many different ways. Thousands were also in the favelas (the slums) tending to practical needs while preaching the Gospel. Meeting places of drug dealers and prostitutes were flooded by the love of God, and masses of Brazilians converted to Christ. One group met a man who was about to commit suicide and shared the Good News of God s love with him. God used them to save this man s life and soul. Moldova Two 15-year-old girls prayed for a woman who could not walk without assistance. After prayer, she not only ran, but she even jumped up and down! A young man prayed for a man who was deaf in one ear, and afterwards he could hear normally again. At that open-air meeting 200 people decided to follow Jesus. 17

TESTIMONIES MORE THAN 800 CHURCHES PARTNERED TOGETHER TO LAUNCH A CITY-WIDE EVANGELISTIC CAMPAIGN. Mexico City The Global Outreach Day was the kick-off to reach the second largest urban area of the world with the Gospel. Churches united to reach every household of Mexico City, street by street, starting from the G.O.D. and aiming to finish on Christmas. To support this, we printed 10 million Gospel tracts. The G.O.D. released both a great unity among the churches and a new enthusiasm for evangelism in Mexico. The national G.O.D. coordinator reported the following: In July 2013, a hundred churches ministered together on the largest square of Mexico City. The 400,000 tracts they distributed resulted in 5,000 people accepting Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. Other cities in Mexico have been targeted to systematically reach with the Gospel as well. On G.O.D. events in August and September churches will evangelize at all metro stations and traffic lights in the city. Monthly training events will teach even more Christians to witness to their faith. Conversions are reported everywhere. For example, a small girl gave her alcoholic father a tract. He was so convicted that he got his life right with God at 5:00 a.m. The Customs officer who processed the tract shipment was the first to decide to follow Jesus. All major denominations across the country (about 15,000 congregations collectively) have committed to join G.O.D. in 2014. 18 Global Outreach Day

TESTIMONIES Pakistan Over 10,000 Christians in 50 towns and 300 villages proclaimed the Gospel in schools and universities, invited Muslim friends to dinner, and organized open-air events. Everywhere they met Muslims who were very open and said they had never seen Christians so united in purpose and bold in their witness. Nigeria Hundreds of Christians proclaimed the Gospel on a beach to 20,000 destitute people the poor, criminals, prostitutes, and drug addicts who lived in small huts or little wooden boxes. They also distributed food and offered medical assistance. This was the last outreach in that place because a huge wave later destroyed the whole area and some died. On that day the teams took some of the homeless children with them to live in their own orphanage. Some of these new believers now attend churches in this area. Mozambique After praying for a deaf 12- year-old girl, her father reported her healing the next day. Also Muslims believed and were baptized. 19

TESTIMONIES Solomon Islands Hawaii Malaysia India Where the sun rises and the Global Outreach Day begins, some teenagers just went out on the street and led over 100 people to Jesus. Where the sun goes down and the day ends, the Gospel was proclaimed as part of an Iron Man event. Over 10,000 households were reached with the Gospel. Many of the largest churches and Christian associations were mobilized. An influential leader said that God had been preparing him for this project for years. He built an apostolic team with the goal to reach all the federal states of India. 20 Global Outreach Day

TESTIMONIES Cuba Israel Austria USA Japan In this communist country, a 2,000-member church took action. Someone who spoke with Holocaust survivors in Israel was able to experience forgiveness. A thousand Christians formed a human chain around their city and were able to reach many others. IHOP in Kansas City hosted an evangelistic open-air meeting with 3,000 people attending. Christians staged a flash mob. 21

TESTIMONIES Switzerland China A whole town was reached with the distribution of 50,000 evangelistic newspapers. Christians gave roses to prostitutes in a Christians were active in about 200 cities. One movement alone nightclub and organized a large flash mob in the city of Zurich. reported 250,000 Christians who reached 1.5 million people. Mongolia Germany Though doctors had given upon a young girl who had been in a coma for about four months, some Christians prayed for her Many different activities took place across the country. Couples dressed as brides and grooms made a Wedding-Dance- Flashmob, shared testimonies and gave roses away. Some on G.O.D. When she woke from the coma the next day, three of the doctors became believers. Christians used Facebook, and others visited folks in hospitals and nursing homes. Even family celebrations and open-air meetings were used to reach people. This is just a small sampling of testimonies. Christians everywhere took action, even in countries like Saudi Arabia, Siberia, and the Fiji Islands. Mongolia, girl got healed 22 Global Outreach Day
