Call to Worship Leader: Why are we here today? People: We gather to remember the goodness of God. Leader: Because no matter how far we wander, People: God s steadfast love finds us. Leader: No matter how unloved we feel, People: God hears our cries and answers our prayers. And so we join together to worship and offer our thanks to God! *Hymn The Church s One Foundation GTG #321 tune - Aurelia *Prayer of Confession (in unison) How often, O Lord, have you turned water into wine? How often have you taken the ordinary and made it holy? How often will you offer us what we need only to watch us turn away or take your gifts for granted? For the times we have not recognized your work and when we have taken for granted your blessings, forgive us. For the times we have rejected the opportunity to serve you and be a part of the comfort and healing that comes through your presence, forgive us. Lord, as we confess to you our sins, we also confess our need for you to be in our lives. (Time of silent Confession.) Leader: Lord, have mercy upon us. People: Christ, have mercy. Leader: Lord, have mercy upon us. People: Amen.

*Words of Assurance Leader: Through Jesus Christ, God s mercy is available to us. People: With this mercy, we are given opportunities to witness and be a part of God s work in Creation. Candace Lowden, Lorrie Heuser, and Martha Jane Caldwell Bates are serving as your Nominating Committee this year, and it is time to prayerfully consider your place in the future of our church. We have places for Deacons and Session members (Elders) starting in early 2016. We are also looking for a member of our Senior High youth to be a Youth Deacon. Please prayerfully consider your role in the future of our church; the direction you d like to see us go in, the activities and programs you want to see in place, and how we can continue to grow in spirit and fellowship with each other in this service. Any member of the Committee would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
