Because families are important at Edgemere, children are a priority!! The Nursery is open for the 9:30 Bible Study hour and the 10:30 Worship Service. The Cry Room is available for those with crying infants (back west side). Children s Church is a worship time geared to the knowledge and short attention span of children ages 2-6 only. Children are given the opportunity to leave for this following a brief Children s Moment. BAPTISM We are rejoicing with Kaitlyn Foster as she chose to be baptized at camp Lu-jo. We welcome Kaitlyn as a new sister in Christ! July 22nd 25th We are looking for volunteers to help out with VBS this year. There are numerous positions and ways that you can help as we prepare and put on this great event! If interested in helping, respond to the email that went out this week or contact David Russell. July 1-6: EYG Mission Trip to Manuelito for all students and families. July 12: Six Flags Trip, Sign up online or in the teen room. Cost is $40. July 19-20:EYG Mystery Trip. Will be an over night trip. Christ Prison Ministry Update: 7 Men were Baptized into Christ on June 19th at the Allred Unit by Stephen Wolf. Please keep me the following new brothers in your prayers: Roberto Becerra, David Chernosky, Jimmy Cook, David Davis, Jourdon Hunter, Aaron McGraw, and Robert Valles. We rejoice that these men have accepted the truth and grace of Jesus. There are many more men waiting to be baptized at Allred!
