In the footsteps of Sheikh Osama By Sheikh Abu Munzir Ash Shanqiti (May Allah protect him) Published by Minbar At Tawheed and Jihad Translated by Dar Al Murabiteen Publications

In the name of Allah, the most gracious the most merciful Praise is to Allah the Lord of the world and peace and blessings of Allah on the honorable messenger and on his family and companions as a whole Sheikh Osama was the voice that expressed the pain of the Ummah we used to listen in his sad tone the groan of every injured and the cry of every bereaved mother and the scream of every orphaned child and we used to feel in his tone the tears of the oppressed Ummah that has grown disgraced of heedlessness and ruined by Tyranny his stances and works were a reflection of the pulse of the Ummah and its feelings and the best representation of its wants and his words were an expression of what is buried inside the hearts of millions of Muslims For 30 years Sheikh Osama carried the flag of Jihad fighting for his religion and Ummah And Allah spread acceptance for him on land and his love in the hearts of Muslims and his awe in the eyes of the disbelievers For his the impact of his calm words reflected in the horizons and resided in the hearts and depths, making the supporters more careful and instilling fear in the hearts of the enemies And his jihad was an embodiment of the saying of Allah humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; For how many are the hearts that found solace after hearing his directions and calls And how many are the disbelieving groups who slept in fear after hearing his promise and threats Such rage that would melt stones by its heat And such delicacy that would turn a rock into water

He gave everything that he had, and left everything that he loved in the way of supporting his religion and Ummah he gave his self, his money, and left his people his sons and his land he gave and never asked, and sacrificed and never took as is the case of all the truthful reward seekers through history And even though he gave all that he gave and sacrificed all that he sacrificed except that the sick hearts only belittled his status! How strange is it how can those who are sitting back and sinning, speak against the great leaders of Mujahedeen? They have gathered between the sin of staying back and speaking against the Mujahedeen He was the champion the shy, the pure The gutsy the honorable and honored And a people belittled his great station And said what a misguided says and increased While his enemies did not deny his worth through ignorance But they on the other hand were completely blind Our sheikh Osama stood with glory and honor and fought against the enemies of the Ummah at a time of bowing down, and set an example for you in bravery and defiance He challenged the disbelieving forces as a whole as well as the forced tyrants, and they gathered against him with all their might and cunning one after the other, but he did not falter or back off in the face of death Cowardice was just not his way, and he could not accept defeat as a change for death I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah- You enlivened in us the heroism of our grandfathers and reminded us of the age of glory and victories and honor We raised our heads and carried our weapons and rode our horses And we walked on the path of our heroes like Khalid and Saad and Muthanna and Miqdad

I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah- Allah brought victory to the religion through you And spread Jihad through you amongst the Muslims And disgraced the disbelievers through you And you bowed the heads of the oppressive Americans And you raided them into their territory after they thought that they were safe from being targeted And you recorded their disgrace in history for ever for times to come I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah- If there is reward in speaking out the truth... then you have done so And if there is reward in fighting the enemy... then you have done so And if there is reward in vexing the enemy then you have done so And if there is reward in Hijrah... then you have done so And if there is reward in Jihad then you have done so And if there is reward in spending then you have done so I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah That you stood the station of Ibn Mubarak in us between seekers of knowledge and Mujahedeen And the station of Ibn Hanbal in front of oppressive rulers And the station of Ibn taymmiyah in front of the attacking Tatars And the station of Salahuddin in front of the armies of Crusaders

I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah That the impartial ones have not given you the station you deserve no matter how many poems they arrange and writings they compose in your praise And that those avenging for you shall not satisfy their revenge against the Americans no matter how many cross worshippers and puppets they kill And that those crying over you shall not give you your right no matter how much they cry and become depressed And there is no blame upon the strong men even if they cry in sadness upon your parting and departure O my heart that is bent upon distress I have denied you to be depressed But this time I excuse you for this certainly Is an incident too difficult to tolerate I bear witness before Allah O Abu Abdullah- You worked and worked hard and the world certainly was not enough for you as a reward near Allah So Allah accepted you in the high ranks amongst the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs I do not know if I should cry on your parting or cry on the condition of the Ummah for which you sacrificed yourself and all what you possessed I do not know if I should cry on your parting or cry on the condition of the elite of the Ummah and its leaders and the privileged an elite that has no concern except degrees and stations and jobs and batches and pinning for drinking toasts An elite that left you to live as a pursued for 10 years and abandoned you and surrendered you to the enemy by its abandoning methodologies and its fleeing from facing the enemy and accepting the peaceful solutions in front of the Crusade attack

They betrayed you while you are the one who supported the religion and raised the flag amongst the Muslims And he had such valor for the religion That he deserved victory from every victory But they O sheikh have not abandoned just you but have abandoned every needy in the Ummah They abandoned every mother of bereaved And they abandoned every widow And they abandoned every destitute orphan And they abandoned every wounded, moaning And they abandoned every martyr smeared in his blood And they abandoned the Sharia of Allah that is being mocked at and trampled in every piece of their land Instead some of their leaders and Sheikhs and organizations and institutions cried and sent blessings on the leader of disbelievers Baba Vatican and did not soothe the daughter of Shafah when she heard the news of your martyrdom! I do not know if I should cry on your parting or cry on the scholars who have chosen to fight jihad and stand by your enemies from amongst the Americans and their followers from amongst the agent rulers I do not know if I should cry on your parting or cry on the condition of the Ummah which does not distinguish, the majority of it, between its friend and its enemy and we find it praising the blood spilling idiot and disgrace the loving advisor And we see it raising the station of those who support its enemy and degrade the one who defends it and fights for it Until it fulfils what the Prophet peace be upon him said about it

(A time will come upon the people from deceiving years, in which the liar will be believed and the truthful will be belied, and the cheater will be trusted while the trustworthy will be considered a cheater ) Narrated by Ibn Majah from the Hadith of Abu Hurairah And we if we are saddened on the parting of the sheikh but we are indeed happy for his victory and the estimate of victory near us is not the same as the estimate of victory near our enemy Our Sheikh became victorious when his self became regardless of the world and he chose the path of Hijrah and Jihad And he became victorious when Allah guided him to light the spark of Jihad against the Crusaders and its allies and he left it lighted and it shall remain so by the permission of Allah And he won when Allah exalted him to Himself and he died as a martyr as he wished And he won because he died the death of a hero from amongst men, honored not disgraced, fighting forward not running- As for those who say he was stabbed to death certainly, for that is the end of the fearless hero And from the completion of his victory is that Allah the Almighty extended his life until he witnessed the victory of the Mujahedeen and the defeat of the Crusaders and the fall of the Tyrants and the spread of the Jihadi groups As if these victories were an eulogy for him for the mission had been completed and the time of work was over, the time of hardship and trial and now is his time for rest and reward and return *** The enemies of the Ummah think that by their killing the leaders and representatives of Jihad, they will kill the Jihad! Certainly they are wrong! They are unaware of an important truth and that is that the death of men for the sake of what they believe is a reason for it to spread and gain acceptance amongst people

Yes the blood of our leaders will be a fuel that feeds the fire below the feet of our enemies O Crusaders you have taken a great deal from us- O groups of apostasy how great is your gain you have taken, by the lord of success and victory You have taken him who if he moved his cane, He controlled the spirits and attacks But that will not affect our zeal or weaken our jihad by the will of Allah You should know that if today you have killed an Osama then tomorrow a million Osama will come to you You should know that Osama was the Ummah and the Ummah is Osama You should know that you are not fighting a single man instead you are fighting a nation of men- If a leader amongst us dies then after him will be an equal who will sing his song and follow Know that the Mujahedeen are fighting in the way of Allah not in the way of Sheikh Osama and that their jihad will continue until the Day of Judgment So be prepared to fight and face men and confront grave dangers O Muslims We are a wounded Ummah who is being picked at by the enemies so we have no time to cry and no space for condolence. Our only condolence in is in fighting the enemies So make an Oath with Allah that the Americans should not bear a flag in the Muslim countries And walk on the path of our Lion Sheikh And avenge him by raising the flag of Jihad and ousting surrender and cowardice And carry forward against the enemies a campaign of power and strength that will make them forget their festivities and bring grief and pain Multiply your efforts and Allah will double your rewards Those who intend to leave for Jihad, should leave today and not wait for another time And those who are preparing 10 must prepare 20

And the one who is to kill 100 should kill 200 agents And know that war is killing and days are rounds between people as Allah the Almighty says If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers - (Surah Aal Imran 140) And the Almighty says And do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. If you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from Allah that which they expect not. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. (Surah Nisa 104) And the winner is the one who is more patient and more determined as the poet says We fed them of the same pain that they fed us But they were more patient upon death than us And we seek refuge in Allah that our enemies should be more patient and more determined than us and strong willed than us So be patient upon your jihad and be patient on fighting your enemies and remain steadfast in the battle arenas And know that the enemies want from targeting the leaders, to disperse the word and create dissention so remain united and heed and obey your commanders And take glad tidings from Allah of victory that He promised you Allah the Almighty says- And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. (Surah As Saafaat 173) Allah the Almighty says - And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed, the party of Allah - they will be the predominant. (Surah Ghafir 56) Allah the Almighty says - Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand -(Surah Maaidah 51) Allah the Almighty says - O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet. (Surah Muhammad 7)

And it is a promise from Allah that is sure, so take glad tidings and be confident of it and walk on the path of jihad O Allah accept the martyr of the Ummah and make his family and Ummah follow him in goodness And make his martyrdom a fire against the enemies of Allah and a light that lights the way for the Mujahedeen in the way of Allah And praise is to Allah the lord of the worlds And there is no might or power except with Allah the Most High, the Great Written by Abu Munzir Ash Shanqiti Friday 3 Jamaadi Al Thani 1432 Translated by Dar Al Murabiteen Publications
