Four different drivers are needed Monday through Friday to deliver the four routes in Bismarck. Member, Donna Ellison, will be calling partners who have been involved with delivery in the past. If you have not been involved and would be interested in taking a week, all the Tuesdays in July, or are able to do two or three days here and there, please call Donna @ 701-391- 3747 or email donnae52@hotmail.com. Meals are picked up at Sanford Medical Center at the Rosser Avenue entrance at approximately 11:30 am. Routes are in the Central, Northeast, West and Downtown/South of Bismarck. Most of the days delivery can be completed in a half hour. A current route is mailed to members who agree to deliver at the end of June. These routes do change because of various circumstances, but are provided as a guide to familiarize one with possible meal receivers. In the past, members pair up so one person drives while the other takes the meals to the door or some prefer to deliver alone and some involve children as an experience they may not otherwise witness. Lutheran Campus Ministry is returning to Bismarck! And we need your help to get it going. The Campus Ministry Planning Team - made up of members from several local ELCA congregations - is hoping to gather a list of people interested in supporting campus ministry. If you are a student, faculty or staff member at Bismarck State College, the University of Mary or United Tribes Technical College - we would love to hear from you! Contact Pastor Craig Schweitzer at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church if you are interested in helping launch campus ministry this fall (craig@goodshepherdbismarck.com or 701-255-1001).
