Introduction Although there are 66 books in the Bible and the Bible stops at the book of Revelation, don't, for a second, think that God has stopped talking to His creation. God is continuously speaking to His children even to this present day. While the Bible stops at the book of Revelation, you can take comfort in the fact that you can seek God's will for your life if you choose to look for it. The sad fact is that we have simply neglected certain key facts regarding divine communications. If you read the Bible, you would realize that God routinely spoke to His prophets through dreams. This, of course, isn't the only channel that He used, but it's definitely a very powerful channel that plays a major role in key parts of the Bible as well as relaying key parts of the gospel. Unfortunately, in this modern day and age, we have completely overlooked the fact that God continues to speak to His children and that one of His preferred channels is our dreams. This book helps you rediscover the power of perceiving, listening to, and understanding God's dream messages for you. Whether you're going through a tough time financially, medically, physically, or you're having issues in your relationship, simply seeking out and listening to God's will for your life can do a lot of wonders. It can make the clouds go away. It can set your path straight. It can give you the answer that you need to make the hard decisions that you have to make in the future.

The Lord has guided, warned, protected, and instructed me through prophetic dreams, and I am confident that the dreams will only increase as I honor the dreams and follow the divine guidance they provide. I also believe this is possible for everyone that seeks to see and hear the Lord. - Wayne Sutton

Chapter 1 The Bible Is Clear About How God Communicates to Humanity The whole idea of interpreting one's dreams seems very foreign to many Christians. Many Christians often equate dream interpretation with sorcery. Of course, the Bible is clear regarding sorcery. Next time you come across a horoscope or a Tarot card reader, it is very clear as to what the Bible's judgment of those kinds of behaviors is. With that said, there is a clear distinction between dream interpretation and practices associated with sorcery. This all boils down to what the Bible says about divine communications. If you look at how God spoke to prophets and mortals throughout history as revealed in the Bible, the patterns are clear. God has four distinct ways of speaking to humanity. First, He uses direct communications. Second, He uses visions. Third, He employs dreams. And finally, He speaks to humanity through signs. Being clear about divine communications can go a long way in your own perception of your dreams. Your dreams are actually telling you something. They don't just occur for no good reason. In fact, you only need to seek God's will regarding your dreams for you to get the clear directions that you need to make the right decisions time and time again. To understand the power of dreams, it's important to do a quick recap of other divine communication channels.

Direct Communications In Numbers 12:6-8, God clearly indicates that He talks to Moses directly. This kind of communication is actually quite rare in the Bible because, as mentioned in this particular chapter of Numbers, God says that He talks to people primarily through dreams, visions, and signs. However, Moses is different because Moses gets the privilege of direct communication with God. While Moses has to cover his face or hide to shield himself from the divine presence, the communication is nonetheless direct. It's a direct revelation. Visions The interesting thing about visions is that they function like dreams, except that when you receive divine communications in a vision, you're awake. When God speaks to you in a dream, you are, by definition, sleeping. That is the big difference between a vision and a dream. Make no mistake about it. Visions can also be fantastic. When you look at the book of Revelation and God's communications with John the apostle, it's very easy to see the fantastic imagery. We're talking about the giant red dragon, the many beasts that came out of the water, as well as imagery of the Antichrist. Visions can be quite fantastic because all sorts of imagery come to mind, and this all takes place while the person receiving the vision is completely awake. Dreams Among all the communication methods used by God in the Bible, dreams are one of the most frequent. While visions are very frequent, especially when God communicates with prophets, dreams are also numerous but they cut across the board. They cut across a wide range of people.

While God seems to prefer to communicate with prophets primarily through visions, He communicates with ordinary mortals generally through dreams and signs. In one-to-one communications with nonprophets, dreams tend to predominate. Dreams, of course, are only experienced when you are asleep. Certain images come to mind, or direct communications from God come to your mind while you're asleep. Signs If God wishes to speak to a wide range of people at the same time, He normally employs signs. A sign is some sort of natural happening that can be experienced by people within a particular point in time. It is a shared experience. Signs tend to stand out from common everyday experiences because of their very improbable circumstances. In the book of Daniel, God gave a sign of the handwriting on the wall. This totally freaked people out because it's not exactly a very commonplace experience. Another set of signs that God performed to communicate to a wide audience was the miracle of the loaves and fishes. Normally, when you eat five loaves and two fishes, you run out after you consume the pieces of food. Well, when Jesus broke the five loaves and the two pieces of fish, people kept eating and eating until the leftovers filled up many different baskets. This is a powerful sign of God's infinite ability to provide for his children. Now that I've laid out the different ways God communicates with His children throughout

all of history, I'm going to walk you through key biblical instances when God communicated through dreams. Do you receive our prophetic newsletter? Be sure to sign-up today at www.yourprophecynews.com God Bless! Chapter 2 God Sends Directions Through Dreams

There are many instances in the Bible where God spoke to mere mortals and patriarchs through dreams. I'm just going to outline a few of the key instances of divine dream communications because they tend to highlight certain categorical differences of divine dream interpretation and divine dream function. Keep in mind that when God speaks in dreams, in some cases, there's no interpretation needed. When God speaks to you in your dream, He's simply aiming to get a message across. The message doesn't require interpretation. The message is very easy to get. This is exactly what happened with Abimelech in the book of Genesis. Abimelech had evil intentions regarding Sarah, Abraham's wife. God intervened before Abimelech acted on his lust. God said to Abimelech, "You should not turn Sarah into your wife. Otherwise, you are going to be punished." This communication did not involve special symbols. It did not require angels. It was just a direct warning. It spelled out the problem and it spelled out what would happen. In other words, it got to the root of the issue, and it spelled out consequences. Another interesting dream in the book of Genesis is Jacob's ladder. Jacob ran away from his father's home because he was afraid that his brother, Esau, would kill him. This is an understandable fear because, after all, Jacob stole Esau's birth right by deceiving him. While at a particular place, Jacob had a dream of angels going up and down a ladder. The interpretation of this dream is actually quite simple. It's all about God's presence in daily human activity. It is not grandiose at some level, but it's actually quite significant as far as Christianity is concerned. Unlike other spiritual traditions, Christianity holds that God takes an active role in our

daily lives. Jacob's ladder is a stunning visual example of this direct connection between human affairs and divine prerogatives. Another powerful dream in Genesis is when God spoke to Jacob instructing him regarding how to increase his flock. Jacob's father-in-law, Laban, was trying to cheat Jacob out of his wages. God instructed Jacob how to deal with Laban's flock in such a way that Jacob would always end up with more animals. This type of dream is an instructive dream. It lays out a problem and gives you clear solutions. In other words, it tells you what to do. This is very different from Abimelech's dream, which is more of like a warning. God lays out what you're doing, and then lays out the consequences. Finally, Solomon's dream is a very important type of dream. In Solomon's dream, he dreamed that he was in God's presence and he was asking God for something. God could have given him power or wealth, but Solomon instead chose wisdom. God then told Solomon that he chose the right thing because through wisdom, he can get both power and wealth. This is a very important type of divine dream communication because most human beings pray to solve certain problems in the here and now. Either they're suffering from financial issues, medical issues, or relationship issues. Whatever the issue is, they need a solution to a problem, and they often request divine intervention to overcome their problem. The interesting twist in Solomon's dream is that the solution to Solomon's issues revolved around character change. Wisdom is part of one's character. Solomon chose profound character change to effect fundamental changes in all other aspects of his life. What Different Divine Dream Communications Teach Us By looking through these different types of divine dream communications, several lessons come to mind. First, we can solve specific problems by paying attention to our dreams. Second, God gives us the specific answer to

life's pressing questions. Third, God often instructs us what we need to do to overcome a particularly challenging situation. Finally, we can petition God in our dreams so that he can effect a miracle in our lives. Make no mistake about it. Solomon's dream of asking for wisdom is a miracle. Why? Human beings cannot change their character. It's like asking a leopard to change its spots. It's simply not going to happen. Solomon's dream is direct proof that we can petition God through our prayers, and this can result in miracles. The truth is we should never lose sight of the fact that God always gives us an opportunity to petition him for help. While prayer is very powerful, never neglect the power of dreams. Chapter 3 God Tells You Your Life's Destiny Through Dreams

Another subset of divine dream interpretation involves determining one's destiny. Let's face it. If you're just living life to survive day to day, you're not living life at all. A life worth living is a purpose-driven life. A life worth living is a life informed and powered by a sense of destiny. This really goes to the core of human existence. And if the issues facing you involve trying to figure out what you should do with your life, then you need to pay attention to how God helps you determine your destiny through your dreams. God did this in several examples scattered throughout the Bible. The dreams of patriarch Joseph are very illustrative of God spelling out one's destiny. This can get quite tricky because God speaks in symbols. In the book of Genesis, Joseph told his family that he dreamed he had a bundle of wheat and his family members also had bundles of wheat. However, his bundle of wheat was bigger, and their bundles were bowing to Joseph's bundle. Similarly, Joseph had another dream where the moon and stars were involved, and they seemed to be pointing to him as the center. What these dreams all pointed to was Joseph's destiny. Joseph was destined for greatness because, through his suffering as a slave and a prisoner, he was able to become a blessing not only to his family, but to the foreign nation of Egypt. These dreams pointed to Joseph's ultimate destiny. He was to be the premier seed of Israel. Among all the tribes of Israel, Joseph was going to be preeminent, at least in the period immediately following the Hebrew exodus. Another powerful example of God telling us our destiny through dreams is the story of Gideon and the barley dream. Gideon was approached by God's angel to lead Israel against a powerful enemy. Gideon was a complete coward. He was actually hiding from the enemy and he kept making excuses to the angel as to why God shouldn't pick him to be the ultimate Hebrew leader against their enemies. Gideon met a man who dreamed about a cake of barley flattening a Midiniate tent. Gideon saw this dream as

heralding his victory over the Midanites. This dream was enough to make all Gideon's reservations regarding God's destiny for him go away. You have to understand that God has a destiny for each and every one of His children. He has a will for all of us. Unfortunately, we are so busy running after our own dreams and our own self-imposed destinies that we tend to overlook what God's will is for us. Nine times out of ten, our own dreams fall apart. Nine times out of ten, our own vision for our life's achievements end up in bitter disappointment. If we only followed Gideon's example and trusted more in God's dream and vision for us, we would all be living lives worth living. Make no mistake about it. Every person has a destiny. Getting in tune with your dreams can give you a clear idea of your destiny. If you're grappling with a lot of anxiety, frustration, envy, or depression, it may be high time for you to pay attention to your dreams.

By interpreting your dreams through biblical means, you might be able to get a clear idea of the kind of life God wants you to live. In fact, focusing on your destiny clears away much of life's anxiety and uncertainties. This is definitely the lesson that Gideon's dream story tells us. By relying on a divine interpretation of our destiny as revealed in our dreams, we can boldly go forward knowing that God has our back. Chapter 4 God Tells You the FUTURE Through Your Dreams There are many instances in the Bible where God predicts the future through dreams. Here are just two of the most famous examples. In the interest of brevity, I'm only going to focus on two key dream interpretation instances in the Bible. Joseph's Dream Interpretation in Egypt Joseph was blessed by God with amazing dream interpretation skills. While Joseph was in prison, the pharaoh's cup-bearer and baker had very disturbing dreams. They didn't know what these dreams meant. They approached Joseph because Joseph was so blessed by God that even

though he was thrown in prison by a false charge, he rose up in ranks to actually manage the prison. That's how blessed Joseph was. The cup-bearer and the baker approached Joseph with their dreams. They laid out the facts in their dreams. Joseph said that the cup-bearer would soon be released but the baker would be put to death. This panned out. This was actually what happened. Unfortunately, the cup-bearer forgot his promise to Joseph that he will tell the pharaoh to free Joseph if Joseph's dream interpretation was true. Joseph then languished in prison for a longer time until the pharaoh himself had a very troubling dream. In the pharaoh's dream, he saw seven very fat cattle being eaten by seven lean emaciated cattle. The pharaoh was beside himself because this dream was very, very troubling. His wise man didn't know what to do with the dream. They couldn't come up with an interpretation. At that point, the cup-bearer remembered Joseph's impressive dream interpretation skills and recommended him to the pharaoh. Joseph accurately deciphered the future, as revealed in the dream. The seven fat cattle symbolized seven great harvest seasons for Egypt. However, they will be immediately followed by seven seasons of famine. As it turned out, this was exactly what happened in Egypt. In preparation, Joseph was put in charge and he saved enough food so that when the lean years came, all Egypt still had food to eat. Daniel's Dreams If you're looking for a fantastic dream interpretation sequence that predicts not only things that happened in the past but things that will happen in the future, you need to pay attention to the book of Daniel. The book of Daniel is as prophetic as a biblical book can be. The book of Daniel is pretty much chock-full of prophecies. However, when it comes to God speaking to His

children about the future through dreams, Daniel's interpretation of the metal man is very important. In the book of Daniel, the prophet Daniel was held captive in the land of Babylon for many years. During the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king had a very weird dream. He had a dream of a metal man that had a gold head, a silver chest, a bronze midsection, and iron legs. But the feet of the metal figure was a mixture of clay and iron. The king was very tricky about his dream. He would ask his dream interpreters to tell him what his dream was and interpret that dream. I hope you can see how difficult that was. In all of Babylon, only the prophet Daniel was able to correctly identify the king's dream. Most importantly, he interpreted what the dream meant. The dream was actually one of the most powerful prophecies in all of the Bible. It outlined what was going to happen to the world. The head of the metal man was the kingdom of Babylon and was going to fall to the silver piece, which was the kingdom of Medo-Persia. The silver piece, in turn, was going to fall to the bronze piece, which was the kingdom of Greece. Finally, Persia was going to fall to the iron kingdom of Rome. This was precisely what happened in history. Even today, the mixture of iron and clay that forms the feet of the metal man dream is accurate. It describes efforts to unite Europe. Just as it is impossible to make iron and clay stick together, it is proving to be very difficult keeping the European Union together. Great leaders ranging including Napoleon have tried to unify Europe but failed. If you're looking for proof whether the Bible is the truth, you only need to read the prophecies of Daniel, and see that it's spot on. God was predicting the future through dreams in this particular biblical story.

The next episode where God foretold the future through dreams is in the dream of the strange beasts. There were all sorts of strange beasts that came out of the water in the book of Daniel. Again, Daniel interpreted these as the future kingdoms that would succeed the Babylonian empire. What Does Dream Interpretation Regarding the Future Tell Us Let's face it. The future can be scary. People hate uncertainty. This is why people flock to astrologers, financial forecasters, and financial analysts. Unfortunately, those people don't know the future. They can talk a good game. They can make plausible guesses. But at the end of the day, they're simply just guessing. If you want to know what the future holds for you, you might want to tap into the power of divine dream interpretation to give you direction. This is not sorcery. This is not heretical. This is biblical. If God has a distinct future for you, you can bet that He's already communicating this future through your dreams. You only need to listen. You only need to stop ignoring your dreams and get the right divine dream interpretation assistance to sort through the different confusing signals that your dream may involve. This is extremely important because it can give you purpose and also resolve. Making a future for yourself takes a lot of will power. It takes a lot of resolve. You have to believe and have faith in your dreams. Being clear as to what the future holds for you is the first step in that process.

Chapter 5 Why Should You Aim to Understand the Dreams that God Sends You? If I haven't made myself clear as to why you should look into divine dream interpretation, let me spell out the benefits. These outline why you should take your dreams seriously and why you should use the Bible to interpret your dreams. You Become Clear About Your Personal Purpose

As I have mentioned earlier, a life lived without purpose is a life not worth living. You're simply just an animal if you're living life without purpose. You're living life to survive. The big difference between a human being and an animal is purpose. If you feel that your life doesn't have any purpose or you feel that you're just drifting through life, you might want to pay attention to your dreams. You might want to zero in on the fact that God is constantly talking to you and has a specific will for your life. You only need to step up and purposely write down your dreams to get to His will. Your Gain Personal Peace If you're grappling with all sorts of worries and stress regarding your finances, your relationships, your future plans, or your health, you might gain a tremendous amount of inner personal peace through divine dream interpretation. By knowing what God's purpose is for you and also explanations of your current situation, you can learn to accept the things that you can accept and also find the resolve to change the things you can change. You Get Inspiration and Power By looking at all the biblical stories of divine dream interpretation, one thing is clear. God wants the very best for you. As mentioned in the book of Jeremiah, God wants to prosper you. He doesn't want to harm you. Unfortunately, we often live our lives in a way that indicates we're afraid of God. We are so fearful of God's will for us because we often think that His will is in conflict with our personal will for ourselves. This is why nine times out of ten, we end up feeling disappointed, defeated, and discouraged. If you want more inspiration and power in your life, you have to pay attention to what God wants to happen to you. As I mentioned earlier, God doesn't wish you evil. He only wishes you good. Tap into divine dream

interpretation so you can get the inspiration and power you need to truly live a powerful and meaningful life. Keep a Dream Journal The first step to understanding the biblical implications and divine meaning of your dreams is to remember your dreams. While you're more than welcome to try to mentally remember your dreams, I'm telling you right now, it almost impossible. The reason is simple. The only reason why you remember certain dreams is because you either woke up immediately after the dream, or that dream was a nightmare. Regardless, there was a point where you were emotionally engaged, and this triggered the memory formation process in your brain. If you are simply going to rely on your own mental processes to remember your dreams, you're wasting your time. It's simply not going to happen. This is why I recommend that you keep a dream journal. Put a dream journal right next to your bed so that when a particularly memorable dream or emotionally traumatic dream manifests itself, you are ready to record it. Record as many details as possible. Pretend you're a journalist. Pay attention to who, what, where, when, why, and how. Get all the details down as much as possible. This would make interpreting your dream all that much easier. Consult With a Christian Dream Interpreter There are Christian prophetic ministers who are duly certified in certain gifts of the Holy Spirit. Dream interpretation falls within this wide range of prophetic and spirit-driven gifts. Consult with a duly certified and experienced Christian dream interpreter and lay out all the dreams that you have recorded. The author does provide this as a service and has had great

success. Go to www.thesecondadam.com/dreams.html for more information. Conclusion If you are looking for guidance, direction, or clarity, take heart from the fact that God wants the very best for you. Since the Bible teaches us that God's word doesn't come back to him void and powerless, we can rest assured of God's willingness, ability, and power to bless us. The problem is, the blessing has to be received.

Sadly, too many Christians relegate God's dream communications to the distant past. They are completely in the dark regarding its existence and power in the here and know. If you want to live a richer, fuller, and more meaningful life, you have to discern God's communications regardless of which form it takes. Take that bold step of faith today and look into how God is speaking to you through your dreams. Whether you need guidance regarding a decision or you're looking for a sense of purpose and destiny or you would like to see how things would pan out regarding a particular decision, you need to tap into the power of divine dream interpretation today!
