Joshua 18 : 3 Dear friends and prayer partners, with the words from the Bible from Josua Chapter 18 I want to greet you and tell you about the events of the last weeks and months : In April we have been on tour with the Christian multimediashows, the technology and creation exhibition and the multimediashow evolution or creation? in Pfullingen and in Osterburken ( Southern Germany ). Part of our team have been Naemi with her boy-friend Christopher, Renate and myself. Thank you for all of your prayers! ( On the next page you can see images of the Pfullingen performance.) We are happy that we have been able and healthy to make this big performance.we have been under stress, because we had to give conducted tours of the technology and creation exhibition at the same time. I estimate there were approximatelly 300 people in the city hall of Pfullingen. The auditorium was a mixed in age ( young and old people, children and adults ). Our team had 4 members : Renate ( technique exhibition set up, conducted tours for children, set up of the big 4 x 4 meter screen ect. ), Naemi ( technique exhibition set up, set up of screen, book table ), her boy friend Chrissi ( voluntary, technical aid at the technique exhibition, book table ect. ) and myself ( cardriver, technic of projectors, disolve technic, audio technics, speaker, public- relations- manager, equipment set up ect. ). You can see : We are a little family company ( firm ) like the Kelly Family. Renate had headache ; I also after the show. There were so much people. We never had a big event like this before. I felt, that many people were praying for us. This was very encouraging for me. A "feed back" of this performance : Two hours later my computer received a positive email from a spectator of the show. I think this evening has been a very encouraging and faithlifting time for the audience ( spectators ). That s the reason why we stand in this ministry.
Pfullingen Multimediashow and Technic exhibition April 2008
I have seen a couple, which was amazed about the technology of creation in a living Bombardier beetle, they have seen the first time in their lives. Such an exhibition is an outstanding event and very different to facts you can read in books or in the web. In English language it is called "evidence". That means : Facts of science, which tell about a creator. Many people say, you must tell only verses from the Bible. But the evidence of God in nature and science is also very important for people nowadays ( these days ). But in the end we can t explain and give an evidence of God, even our facts are very good. But we should try our best and not bury our pounds ( Luke 19 : 20 + 21 ). In our family some very encouraging things have happend : Tabea has found a cheap appartment with furnitures and a washing-machine. Renate was asked to help in the Christian Children Bible Club of our village. She likes to do this ministry. In the meantime she gave two lessons for chidren from the Bible on Tuesday afternoon. There is much work to prepare the teaching units from the Bible : One of the Bible lessons was about the parable of the house build on stone. We built two houses of Lego bricks to tell the story from the Bible and show the children what it means. In addition the children painted a picture of this Bible lesson.
Please pray for the spiritual situation of our village : Only some few people go to Sunday service in the Lutherian church. These few people, who are interested in Christian faith are very old and die step by step. The children grow up without Christian faith, when they leave the children lessons. When the are youngsters they are confirmands. After this confirmation celebration only some few youngsters have interest in faith. We also could experience a very positive change of life in our village : Jana, a schoolmate of Tabea, made a decision for Jesus Christ, after she had attended the Bible lesson for youngsters in our baptist church. Later she was baptised. Renate has a very good relationship to Elke, the mother of Jana. Every week they drive shopping, because Elke has no car. We are sad, that Elke and her man Chrissi leave our village and have bought a house in an other town. Please pray for Jana, Elke and Chris and that there will be some more people in our village, who turn to Jesus. From December of 2007 up to February 2008 I worked on a new project mobile exhibition BIONIC & CREATION. This exhibition is not been finished, because we got no more funds and sponsoring for this special project. ( I can send you more detailed information of this exhibition project ). This mobile Christian exhibition is very important for Germany, because it would be the first Christian BIONIC exhibition, which wants to show an intelligent designer and creator in nature and Nano world. Since March many of our brochures and flyers have been translated. We applied for working with BCM, an American missionary fellowship, which makes a ministry with children in many countries of the world. In Germany they also make church planting. The European director Dale Sigafoos had a meeting with us. He is now in the USA to raise funds for the ministry in Germany and makes some advertising for our multimediashow ministry. Please pray, that the calendar of peace in Arabic language will be printed and distributed ( I told about this project in my last newsletter. I took the pictures for this beautiful calendar ). Please pray, that God will give strenght, success and sponsors for the new projects ( BIONIC & CREATION exhibition ect. ). Please pray also, that more Christian churches will invite our team for multimediashow performances. In June Tabea will begin an apprenticeship in a Christian book shop in the city of Hemer nearby the Dortmund area. She also got a cheap apartment in this city. Jonathan began his studies for information technology in 2007 at the Berufs Akademie ( professional academy ) and works in a company, which designs software solutions. He has made his degrees for the first semester successfully. Naemi travels every day with the train to Heilbronn ( 70 kilometers = 44 miles / a trip of 3 hours every day!! ). She goes to highschool technical gymnasium (grafic design) and wants to gain her dregrees. She has good fellowship in the classroom with her schoolmates. In our church she is a singer in a praise band and has good company in her Christian youth group.
Prayer requests in May 2008 : Tabeas remove to her new apartment (and begin of apprenticeship) in Hemer in end of May. Please pray, that Christian groups and churches will invite us for a performance of the multimediashows and have evnets with our mobile exhibition. Please pray, that God will lead us and show us the next steps to go to. Pray for the stay of Dale Sigafoos and his family in the USA. He needs protection on his long tour around this huge country. Please pray for the children Bible study group in our village. At the end of this lenghty letter I want to send you greetings with the old German Choral : Ein Schiff, dass sich Gemeinde nennt, fährt durch das Meer der Zeit. A ship, which is called church sails through the sea of time. The goal, that gives her direction is the eternity of God. The ship sails threaten by storms, fears, dangers, doubts, hopes, fights and glory. In this way this ships moves year by year. And often you ask yourself : Will this ship pass through temptations? Will this ship reach the big goal? Will it sink to the ground? Bleibe bei uns, HERR! Bleibe bei uns HERR! denn sonst sind wir allein auf der Fahrt durch das Meer. O, bleibe bei uns HERR! Stay with us, oh LORD! Stay with us, oh Lord! Because otherwise we are alone on our tour through the sea. Oh, stay with us, oh Lord! In the ship, which is called church must be a team ( staff members, crew ), otherwise you are lost and alone on this big trip. Everyone stand, where he stands and must do his duty conscientiously ; if he isn t doing his part faithfully the whole mission will fail. Many friends are onboard with the same direction and goal. This will give us new courage and encouragement, we are not alone any more. So this ship will sail into the harbour of God. Bleibe bei uns HERR.
