If you are visiting and are making your home in this community we extend to you a hearty invitation to make this your church home. Please, complete the Guest Registration card in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate. WELCOME TO ROB AND DENA VIEIRA are doing our Sabbath School special feature this morning. They have been serving as selfsupporting missionary workers in China since 2010, and have been in China a total of nine years. They are working as English teachers in this communist closed country. Through friendship evangelism and small-group Bible study, they are bringing individuals to the knowledge of God with the goal of making disciples and planting a home fellowship church. Joining them in the last few years in this endeavor are their fellow missionary workers: daughter Penelope, 6 years old, daughter Abigail, 5, and son Wesley, 3. They are committed to being in China as long as God keeps the door open." ANNOUNCEMENTS TODAY Today s Message: Conflict & Conscience John 15:18-21; 16:2-3 Suffering for Jesus sake is part of the Christians present destiny. Persecution is not limited to one period in history. It is both local and universal. It may come from different sources and in different forms. It may be triggered by the witness of God s people. Persecution is not a strange thing (1 Pet 4:12) and must be expected. How the followers of Christ can respond to persecution? Accept suffering as a natural ingredient of discipleship (Rev 14:4). Turn to God in prayer (Rev 6:10). Trust God s plan of salvation. Patiently hold on to what you have. Seek the good of your enemies by being faithful witness through life, word and serving. Rely on the loving care of Jesus (Rev 1:5-7) and his promise to help his people to persevere (Rev 2:10, and to limit burdens so that they become bearable (Rev 2:24; 3:10). Keep in mind that persecution is not the end. The hope of eternal life is realized in the resurrection at the Soon Coming of Jesus. In the meantime, take a stand for truth. Love, care for, and support those that are suffering.

What does it mean to Walk with God? Enoch walked with God, and walked right into heaven. Can we do the same? This series will explore together, the meaning of and the how to Walk with God. Learning to Walk with God doesn t usually happen in a moment. It usually takes years. Yet it begins in a moment. We will explore those precious moments and the Walk that follows. We begin here. If you do everything we cover in this series, your walk with God will never end. It will continue into heaven and onto the New Earth. Come, and enjoy the adventure of Walking with God. The learning happens every Sabbath afternoon one hour before sunset beginning January 30, 4:16 pm in the sanctuary of the Yucaipa Seventh-day Adventist Church. Learning to Walk with God is coordinated by Elder Gary Strunk. You may have traveled thousands of miles on mission trips, or wished you could have. You ve helped build churches, conducted evangelistic series & Vacation Bible Schools; participated in clinics, helped with crying children as their parents got the help they needed. And you ve cleaned streets, handed out needed food and supplies to people in devastated areas. And you came home from those trips elated, with mission stories from your own personal viewpoint that touched hearts & spurred others to go & do likewise. On April 26-29, 2016 you ll have a life-changing opportunity to go on a mission trip right here in Los Angeles! On those dates more than 10,000 people will line up for free medical, surgical, vision & dental care in downtown Los Angeles. Whether you re a health professional or not, you, along with 3,000 other Adventist volunteers coming from all parts of the U.S. & elsewhere, can have a part in the exciting mega-clinic being planned to treat them. Don t miss this chance to help thousands, right here! You ll be very grateful that you had a part in helping and so will those whose lives you ve touched.
