APR 10 17, 2016 TRURO FAMILY NEWS WOMEN S MINISTRY Women s Fellowship Party Next Sunday is Preschool Sunday! Next Sunday, we celebrate Truro s Preschool and Kindergarten by having many of our students come and sing for the Truro parish. The balcony will have about 70 students and staff for only the first 15 minutes of the service. The children will process to the Education Building after they sing, and you are welcome to sit in the balcony after they exit. Following the service, weather permitting, the TPK Community will gather outside on the playground for a pizza picnic! Please welcome the parents and guests who will be attending Preschool Sunday! WORSHIP Weekly Scripture Study Apr 10 by Matt Hemsley God can restore our fortunes. He has done it in the past, and He can do it again. That s the theme of this Psalm, some of whose verses may be well known to us: The Lord has done great things for us; Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Psalm 126 comes in two halves. The first half is an act of remembrance, looking back to the time when Jews were released from their captivity in Babylon. When the good news came that they were going to be allowed to return to their homeland a torrent of joy broke out. The captives were like those who dream (v. 1). The news was simply too good to be true, so wonderful it impacted the nations around Israel: it was said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them (v. 2). devotional, questions + deeper study are continued @ bit.ly/1qvywpe
