1 SUNDAY, JULY 16, 2017 JESUS MESSIAH He became sin who knew no sin, that we might become His righteousness. He humbled Himself and carried the cross; Love so amazing, love so amazing. Jesus Messiah, Name above all names, blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel; The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven, Jesus Messiah, Lord of all. His body, the bread, His blood, the wine, broken and poured out all for love. The whole earth trembled and the veil was torn; Love so amazing, love so amazing, Jesus Messiah, Name above all names, blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel; The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven, Jesus Messiah, Lord of all. All our hope is in You, all our hope is in You; All the glory to You, God, The Light of the world Jesus Messiah, Name above all names, blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel; The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven, Jesus Messiah, Lord of all. 3 LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms; What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, leaning on the everlasting arms; O how bright the path grows from day to day, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms? I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. MY SAVIOR S LOVE I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus, the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me, a sinner, condemned, unclean. How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be: How marvelous! How wonderful is my Savior s love for me! When with the ransomed in glory His face I at last shall see, twill be my joy thru the ages to sing of His love for me. How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be: How marvelous! How wonderful is my Savior s love for me! BLESSED BE YOUR NAME
4 Blessed be Your name in the land that is plentiful, where Your streams of abundance flow. Blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your name when I'm found in the desert place, though I walk through the wilderness. Blessed be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say, Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name. Blessed be Your name when the sun's shining down on me, when the world's all as it should be; Blessed be Your name Blessed be Your name on the road marked with suffering, though there's pain in the offering; Blessed be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say, Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name. You give and take away, You give and take away; My heart will choose to say Lord, blessed be Your name. You give and take away, You give and take away; My heart will choose to say Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name. AMAZING GRACE, MY CHAINS ARE GONE
5 Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. INVITATION COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING Come, Thou Fount of ev'ry blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet sung by flaming tongues above. Praise His name; I'm fixed upon it: Name of God s redeeming love. Hither to Thy love has blest me, Thou hast brought me to this place, and I know Thy hand will bring me safely home by Thy good grace. Jesus sought me when a stranger wand'ring from the fold of God; He to rescue me from danger bought me with His precious blood. O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be! Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wand'ring heart to Thee: Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it; prone to leave the God I love; Here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above. Oh that day when freed from sinning, I shall see Thy lovely face. Full arrayed in blood-washed linen, how I'll sing Thy sovereign grace. Come, my Lord, no longer tarry, bring Thy promises to pass; For I know Thy pow'r will keep me till I'm home with Thee at last. OFFERTORY HOW DEEP THE FATHER S LOVE FOR US
6 How deep the Father s love for us, how vast beyond all measure; That He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss; the Father turns His face away as wounds which mar the Chosen One bring many sons to glory. Behold the man upon a cross, my sin upon His shoulders. Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there until it was accomplished. His dying breath has brought me life; I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything: No gifts, no power, no wisdom, but I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I can not give an answer. But this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom. But this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom. BENEDICTION BLESSED BE YOUR NAME Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name.
