GRACE W RSHIP As One For One.

GRACE WORSHIP Welcome to the Team It is with great joy that I welcome you to the worship team. Something rises up within me when I read the words of one of the greatest worshipers this world has known, Bless the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being praise His holy name. In Psalm 103, David exhibits worship from the inside out; a longing for the depths of his being to praise His Holy Name. I long to be a worshipper that worships with all that is within me and I long for others to experience and respond appropriately to the greatness of God. We as leaders have a responsibility to lead in heartfelt praise. It isnʼt enough to look like worshippers, we must in fact be worshippers. Authenticity in public worship will only happen if our lives are infused with private worship. If we are to be effective in leading others in whole-hearted worship, then we must take the responsibility for ourselves and learn what it means to bless the Lord with all our inmost being during our private times with God. Ezekiel 36 speaks of the Lord having concern for His holy name. There is no greater pursuit on this side of heaven than to make His name great. Our desire is to cultivate a worship culture concerned and committed to His holy name. I look forward to all the Christ will do in us, among us and through us as we make the glory of His holy name our heartfelt commitment. WHO TEAM VISION Who Why What How we are identity Grace Worship, a team of worshipers, musicians, and leaders passionately inspired and drawn toward the person, presence and word of God. WHY we do what we do purpose Cultivate a worship culture, united and passionate for the presence and glory of God; a culture that s as life giving as the God we serve. WHAT drives us mission Resolved to realign God s people with God s true heart regarding worship, intentionally inviting others to experience the intimacy of His presence, and are moved to make His praise glorious. HOW we will lead values As one For One - moving together, with one heart, with the whole as the priority - for the purpose and glory of the One true God - congregation before team, team before individuals With the End in Mind - Our purpose and mission will drive our direction - Goal driven to ensure clear paths Who Before What - Character will take precedent over talent - Investing in personal, spiritual and family health - Home life will be priority over stage life Make it Better - Driven by the desire to give God personal and collective best - Personal contribution to excellence within the lens of team Centered on Christ - We by are own strength are incapable of accomplishing our purpose - Its not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord - Zechariah 4:6 - Unless the Lord builds the house its workers labor in vain. - Psalm 127:1

OUR COMMITMENT Be Prepared Be Ready To Grow Be Understanding BE prepared Preparation is an attitude of the heart The value of a heart that is prepared to serve with humility, and worship passionately, is immeasurable. We will be committed to being people of the who, before people of the what Who we are, our character, and our relationship with Christ is and will, forever be more important than our skill set. It is the foundation on which our skills stand. We will be committed with prepared hearts. Preparation is part of worship Preparation is a part of the worship process. Before an offering can be made, preparations are necessary. We will view our preparation as being as important as our weekend offering. All songs and parts should be prepared and worked out before the start of rehearsal. BE growing Healthy things grow We are committed to growth. During growth, changes occur that can be both awkward and painful. We must be committed to growth as individuals and as a team, because healthy things grow. God honors excellence, and as we grow, God will honor our commitment. Together we will be challenged to grow in our gifts and grow in our relationship with the Lord. BE understanding Seek first to understand, then to be understood We will be gracious and respectful of each other with understanding that the atmosphere on and off the platform directly affects our ability to minister together. Conflict must be resolved, forgiveness extended, and grace given in all circumstances. We will assume the best regarding each other and Seek first to understand then to be understood.

OUR PROCEDURES Communication Expectation Dynamics Growth Communication Planning Center Online (PCO) Planning Center is a great tool to organize the flow of the service every week, and includes songs, song charts, personnel, and service plans for each service. All Chord Charts, Service schedules, and Arrangements can be downloaded through PCO Each time you are placed on a schedule, you will receive an email from Planning Center. You are responsible to Accept or Decline invitations to participate in each service. Scheduling will be processed through PCO. Block out all weekends as soon as you know you are unavailable Email Email will be the primary method of worship team communication. It is important that email is checked on a consistent basis. Weekly team emails will be sent. Weekend Recap emails will be sent weekly for each weekend team Web gfc.org/graceworship - team homepage. Expectation Preparation Value others, by being on time and ready to go at the appointed time. Have all necessary parts properly rehearsed prior to rehearsal. Prepare your heart before meeting Distraction Remove all distractions by avoiding wrong notes. Be aware of our attitudes that may distract the flow of worship. Be aware of dress and how it could distract others. Be aware of the way our instrument is played and how much. Understand the role in which you are ministering and stay within those guidelines. Service Commitment Commitment is for one year of service. Wednesday rehearsal on service weekends Saturday and Sunday Weekend Commitments Team meetings throughout the year Attendance in Grace Fellowship Church services Yearly Team review

OUR PROCEDURES Communication Expectation Dynamics Growth Team Dynamics On Stage Direction In order to maintain team health, On Stage direction will be given from the leader to the instrumentalist. We ask that instrumentalist and vocalist don t tell other instrumentalist/ vocalist how to play their part. It can get messy fast. When we are expecting direction, we are willing to receive it. Misplaced direction causes tension and feelings of frustration. If you have thoughts about direction let s talk offstage after rehearsal. Attire Dress in modest unrevealing clothing. Be presentable Short skirts are not permitted Low tops are not permitted Prefer shirts without labels or large graphics. (Dress T Shirts are preferred) Avoid skin color clothing, tight-fitted clothing, rips and holes No shorts Remember what others see will influence their participation in worship. Team Resolve personal issues quickly assuming the best of each other Personal issues affect the team. Public Avoid public discrepancies Be careful about what is posted on Social Media This is a public ministry, therefor be wise about what is done in public. Team Growth Spiritual Once a month team fun gatherings Bi-Monthly Full team vision and growth meetings Devotions markdomsic.wordpress.com Personal growth accountability Musical Consistent team development Ear training / theory Section Rehearsals: Electric Guitars, Drummers, Vocalist, Keyboards etc.

WEEKEND VALUES Spirit-Filled & God Focused - Prioritizing God as our primary focus and allowing His Spirit to be our guide Transformative & Equipping - Inviting people to experience the power of His presence, and equipping them to live it out in their everyday lives. Relational & Participatory - Fostering a connected community of spiritual contributors Fresh & Engaging - Loving people where they are and leading them to personally encounter God in creative ways. Hope & Filled & Contextual - Celebrating the hope that we have in Christ Jesus
