Please join Fr. Greg in the parlor each Sunday at 9 a.m. starting on November 26 th. The only homework will be to read one chapter or so for each Sunday. GINGERBREAD HOUSES: December 10th after the 10 A.M. service in the Undercroft. Mount Calvary is adding a twist to its annual gingerbread house making event. This year we are inviting Four Diamonds families in our community to share in the fun. Four Diamonds has supported every child that has been treated for cancer at Penn State Children's Hospital, including members of our Mount Calvary Family. This event is for all crafters and candy lovers. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Narthex so that we have enough candy and crafting supplies for all. CHRISTMAS EVE CHILDREN S SERVICE: 4 p.m. on December 24 children are invited to actively participate in a Pickup Pageant. This is a fun time for the children to experience the gospel and the Christmas story. Look more details in the coming weeks. GIVING TREE FOR NEW HOPE MINISTRIES: During the month of November please take an ornament from the Giving Tree and bring in the gift requested. The children of MCP have prepared the ornaments from gift requests from New Hope Ministries. December 3rd is last day to bring in your gift. FOOD PANTRY: Next scheduled packing is December 4 and then every other month thereafter COOKIE EXCHANGE: December 17 th, Cookie Exchange during coffee hour after 10 a.m. service. Please bring cookies to share and exchange. Lively Christmas entertainment will be provided by the CNotes (MCP s very own barbershop quartet). Come eat and be merry! FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT: December 17 th 4-6 PM Movie Family Night cookies and popcorn. Nothing spooky, we promise! CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS: In your bulletins today is a flyer to fill in if you wish to donate $20 to purchase a poinsettia in memory or thanksgiving. After the Eucharist hymns of your choice are sung and then everyone migrates to the Undercroft for Christmas cookies and conversation. Please consider joining for some extra celebrating and singing..
