If you prefer hard copies, both are available in the back of the church. 2 ND CHANGE SALE THERE S STILL TIME TO DONATE AND VOLUNTEER! On June 6 from 9-1, St James will be hosting a SECOND CHANCE sale. Volunteers are needed to set up, clean up and provide donated items. Carol Thompson is in charge of this event. She has indicated that the only clothes accepted will be baby clothes. If you have items to donate or can volunteer, please see her. ECW Has finished all their tie blankets for donation to the Genesis Cancer Care Center. Thanks to all those who helped! JUNE 2015 ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Lantern FRIENDSHIP DINNERS Susan Benson would like you to know the following - The June Friendship Dinner is scheduled for June 27. A signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the Undercroft. Please consider helping with this dinner. Our dessert this month is cookies. Please consider donating some cookies, a signup sheet for the cookies is also in the Undercroft. And she extends her thanks - A HUGE Thank You to everyone who helped prepare, serve, and cleanup the May 30 Friendship Dinner. Also, a HUGE Thank You to Linda O'Neill for sponsoring this meal. The Friendship Dinner served 204 meals at a cost of $1.29 per meal. ~This and That~ Local Community Events John McIntire Library continues to keep us updated on their events. Careers at Zane State June 25th, Zane State is offering a free public service career exploration event from 6-8 p.m. It will provide an opportunity to learn about public service careers. The flyer is posted in the undercroft. CINEMARK THEATRE is beginning its Summer Movie Clubhouse on June 9th. They have ten weeks of G/PG rated films for the family. Cost is $5.00 for all ten or $1.00 per individual movie. A flyer is located in the undercroft if you'd like more information.
