What were the four creatures doing? Ans. They were doing the heavenly worship. The worship of the church should reflect this heavenly worship. They were worshipping these things: 1. Their praises accepts the fitness of His position as the Great Creator. Casting the Crowns down Crown are given by God, they are dedicating it back to Him. During worship we must dedicate our sound, emotion, time, and talents that are given by God.

62. What is the content of the scroll that was in the hand of the God who seated on the throne? Ans. It contains the secret decrees of God concerning the judgment and salvation of humanity. It also includes God s will concerning the events marking the end times 63. Why was it sealed with 7 seals? Ans. God s plan is the greatest mystery, His judgement is vast. It should not be revealed until the time it will be implemented. No one should see it before time and no one can change the content. 64. What is it meaning here that Jesus who was slain and became a sacrificial offering is the only one who is qualified to open the seals? Ans. God wants a person who spent every second of his life doing the will of God to handle this divine message. Jesus is the only person who qualified like that. 65. What is the reason for calling Jesus The Lamb? Ans. Jesus became the sacrificial lamb for the sins of world, since he is the Passover Lamb. It is written in Rev. 17:12-14 and in 6:15-17 that The Lamb who is the Lord and the King will defeat the other animals and Satan. This only Jesus can do, hence he the The Lamb 66. The Lamb takes the scroll from the hands of the person who sits on the throne. What does it signify? Ans. It signifies that the authority is given to the Lamb 67. How was the lamb being worshipped and who did the woship? Ans. When He had taken the scroll the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. They sang a new song. 68. What are the qualifications that Jesus had to break the seals and open the scroll? Ans. He was being sacrificed according to His own will and reinstated the lost relationship between God and humankind. He gave His own blood as a ransom and bought the whole humankind to salvation. He made the whole humankind a position of kings and priests to our God. 69. What did the angels say and what is the meaning of it?

Ans. The angels sang, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing. They were praising 7 attributes of the Lamb. Power, riches, wisdom and strength These 4 denotes complete authority. Remaining 3 honor, glory and blessings These are the offerings the angels made as worship. 70. At the end of this heavenly worship, what did he at the end, as part-taking in the worship? Ans. Every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them including sun, moon, stars and all vegetation are worshipping the God Almighty and the Christ the Lamb. 71. What was the response of the creatures and the elders for this worship? Ans. The four creatures said Amen and the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever. 72. By breaking the seal what is Jesus doing? Ans. Revealing God s plan. 73. Who ae the participants of these divine plan? Ans. 1. Men on horseback; 2. Martyrs pleading for justice; 3. Angels; 4. People on Earth 74. What is the meaning of the things that happened when the first seal was broken? Ans. There appeared a white horse and a rider. The white color and the crown on the rider denote that he should conquer the enemies of God and comes back as victorious. 75. What authority was given to the rider who sits on the red horse that came out when the second seal was broken? Ans. The rider was granted the authority to remove peace from the earth and that people should kill one another. It represents war, violent bloodshed, and death. 76. What was the significance of the balance (a pair of scales) in the hand of the rider on the black horse when the third seal was broken? Ans. The third ride represents famine and inflation, frequent accompaniments of war. Scarcity of food will be there. It must be carefully weighed and use sparingly. 77. What is the meaning of saying the prices of wheat and barley? What is the reason for saying do not harm oil and wine?

Ans. The daily wage of a common man at that time was one denarius. With that money he cannot get enough food to sustain him and his family. It shows inflation and scarcity of food. We use oil and wine in Holy Sacraments. Oil for anointing of Holy Chrism, wine for Holy Qurbana is used and there should not be any scarcity for them. If the faithful people who receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit and with true repentance receives the Holy Qurbana, then he gets proper protection from this famine. 78. What was the name of the rider who came with the pale yellow horse and who followed him? Ans. His name is Death and Hades followed Death. 79. What is the meaning of what happened when the fourth seal was broken? Ans. The power was given to the rider to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. 80. What is the venue John is seeing when the fifth seal was broken? Ans. When the first four seals were broken the riders and the horses came out near the throne in heaven. But when the fifth seal is broken John sees a temple that has an altar. 81. Give the main description of what happened when the fifth seal was broken? Ans. God is giving a description of what is Christian Martyrdom. 82. Whom did John see under the altar? Ans. He saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 83. What was the response of God received by the souls of the martyrs? Ans. A white robe was given to each of them. White robe denotes their salvation and holiness. Then they were told to rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed 84. What was happened when the sixth seal was broken? Ans. There was a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. The stars of heaven fell to earth. The sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. The kings of the earth,

the great men, the rich, the poor, mighty men, slaves and freemen hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. 85. What is special in God s wrath? Ans.It is a wrath out of Love. It is not for destruction but for salvation. We must take our refuge in God s love and mercy. 86. In the seventh chapter, God gives us three important facts. What are they? 1. Warning The great tribulation (wrath) will come soon 2. Protection Lord s faithful are sealed against His wrath. 3. Promise The faithful, who will be sealed, will then assemble for worship. The Lamb will lead them to living fountains of waters. ( promise of eternal life) 87. From which direction the angel came with the seal of the living God? Why did he say not to harm earth, sea or trees? Ans. He came from East. It was said because he has to seal the servants of our God on their forehead. So they have to hold on their destructions. 88. What is the meaning of the seal received by the true Christians? Ans. A seal shows the ownership. This seal is to protect the righteous from God s wrath. We get a seal of a cross on the forehead with Holy Chrism during the Baptism; that is the seal of the Holy Spirit. With that seal we became the property of God. With the protection of the seal, it does not mean that Christians get a physical protection from tribulation, but we get enough courage to face any problem with our own power, perseverance and patience. 89. Which tribe of Israelites was not in the 12 tribes that received the seal? Ans. Dan 90. Where was the innumerable multitude from all nations standing? Ans. They were before the throne of God and before the Lamb in Heaven. 91. Who are these innumerable multitudes? What were they wearing?

Ans. They came from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues. They had white robes and had palm branches in their hands. 92. What do these innumerable multitudes remind us? Ans. This reminds us about the countless number of children that was promised to Abraham by God. 93. What is the meaning of palm branches? Ans. It signifies Victory. 94. What were these multitudes shouting? Ans. They said, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb. 95. The angels were also praising God along with the multitudes. What did they say? Ans. They fell on their face and worshipped saying, Amen, Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever. 96. What are the specialties of these multitudes? They worship God along with the heavenly crowd and they are wearing the white robes They washed their robe and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. They are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in His temple. They came out of the great tribulation. 97. Since the one who sits on the throne is their Lord, what changes occurred to them? Ans. They shall not have hunger or thirst. The sun shall not strike them nor the heat. The Lamb will shepherd them to the living fountains of waters. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
