The Facts About the Second Coming
Jesus came once 2000 year ago to live, die, be buried, and rise again.
He will come again another time so we call it Second Coming!
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28
There is no third or fourth coming as the futurists require by their added events.
#1 Jesus will come again!
He said He would. Angels said He would. Paul said He would. James said He would. Peter said He would. John said He would.
2 In my Father s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3

The basis for our faith is God s Son God s angels and God s apostles that gave their lives for it.
#2 Enoch knew of His coming!
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Jude 1:14-15
Enoch lived with Adam for 308 years. He lived from 622-987 after the creation of all things.
The saints that come with Jesus are angels. Deut 33:2 Acts 7:53 Gal 3:19 Ps 68:17 Heb 2:2
#3 Jesus will come Himself!
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:20-21
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: I Thessalonians 4:16
His coming will not be an apparition, spirit, vision, figurative, or spiritual coming.
#4 Jesus will come visibly!
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: I Timothy 6:14
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; II Timothy 4:1
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. II Timothy 4:8
Job knew he would see Jesus on earth with his own eyes.
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. Job 19:25-27
#5 Jesus will bring angels!

#6 Jesus will bring fire!
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: II Thessalonians 1:7-8
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. II Peter 3:7
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? II Peter 3:12
Everything you can see has a hot future.
#7 Jesus will raise the dead!

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28-29
All dead bodies are raised saved or not miscarriages and seniors 100 billion?
Every cemetery will be ripped apart.
#8 Jesus will shout!

#9 Jesus will blast a trumpet!

#11 It will happen very fast!

#12 Heaven and earth will burn!
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. II Peter 3:7
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. II Peter 3:10

#13 He will show Who He is!
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; I Timothy 6:14-15
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 17:14
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 17:11,16
#14 We get a new heaven / earth!
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. II Peter 3:13
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1
#15 Everything will be new!
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:5
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. #16 We will be with Him forever!
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thessalonians 4:17
#17 All so far is after antichrist!
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; II Thessalonians 2:1-3
What is the Bible order of events? 1. Apostacy 2. Antichrist 3. His return

How is the order changed today? 1. Apostacy 2. His return 3. Antichrist
The whole fantasy of being LEFT BEHIND to deal with the antichrist is a manmade fable.
Did Paul know that men would try to change the order? YES!

Are there things that will NOT happen when Jesus returns? YES!
#1 A rapture of only some people!
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. Acts 24:15

7 when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. II Thessalonians 1:7-10
#2 A tribulation of seven years!
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Matthew 24:15,21,34
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22
What should we do about His coming?
#1 Live a holy life to get ready!
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. I John 3:3
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, II Peter 3:11
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. II Peter 3:13
#2 Talk about it to each other!
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I Thessalonians 4:18
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. I Thessalonians 5:11
What should we NOT do about His coming?
#1 Set dates and speculate!
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. I Thessalonians 5:1-2
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mark 13:32
#2 Get too excited about stuff here!
Everything you can see has a hot future.
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:1-2
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:3-4
Let us have the church most ready for the return of Jesus Christ!
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
