*The Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth: We pray for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary: the Eucharistic reign of Jesus. 12 ROSARY FOR PRIESTS *Agony in the Garden* We pray that all priests may be like Jesus, living only to do our Father s will. *Scourging at the Pillar* We pray for priests who are persecuted, physically or mentally abused; those who are imprisoned or prevented from offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass or receiving Holy Communion. * Crowning with Thorns* We pray for priests who suffer for defending authentic Catholic doctrine. We pray that all Bishops will uphold the true teachings of the Catholic Church and resist temptations to compromise doctrine in the face of cultural and social pressures. *Carrying of the Cross* We pray for all priests with heavy crosses; those who are weak, lonely, or have fallen from God s grace in some way. We pray for the Holy Father, who perhaps has the heaviest of crosses: the widespread persecution and abandonment of the Church from within and without. *Crucifixion and Death* We pray for all priests who are in their last agony and those who will die today. We pray for those who thirst for the salvation of souls. We pray that the crucifixion of their wills may accomplish God s designs for the salvation of the whole world. Closing Prayers: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ Opening of Morning Prayer O Lord, open Thou my mouth to bless Thy Holy Name; cleanse my heart also from all vain, evil and wandering thoughts; enlighten my understanding; kindle my affections, that I may be able to recite this Office worthily, attentively and devoutly, and may deserve to be heard in the Presence of Thy Divine Majesty. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen. Closing of Evening Prayer Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on all altars of the world and giving praise to the Father, pleading for the coming of His Kingdom. Please receive this humble offering of myself. Use me as You will for the glory of the Father and the salvation of souls. Most Holy Mother of God, never let me be separated from Your Divine Son. Please defend me and protect me as Your special child. Amen. Prayers of Reposition on Page 4 5 5

11 6 Prayers After Communion My Lord, Jesus Christ, I love You above all things. I firmly believe that I have received in Communion, Your Body, Your Blood, Your Soul and Your Divinity. I believe it because You have said it, and I am ready to give my life to maintain this truth. Dear Jesus, help us to spread Your fragrance everywhere we go. Flood our souls with Your Spirit and Life. Penetrate and possess our whole beings so utterly, that our lives may be only a radiance of Yours. Shine through us and be so in us that every soul we come in contact with may feel Your Presence in our souls. Let them look up and see no longer us but only Jesus! Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine as You shine, so to shine as to be a light to others. The light, O Jesus, will be all from You, none of it will be ours. It will be You shining on others through us. Let us thus praise You in the way You love best, by shining on those around us. Let us preach You without preaching, not by words but by our example, by the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what we do and the evident fullness of the love our hearts bear to You. Amen. St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Spiritual Communion After Day Prayer My Jesus, I believe that You are really present in the Most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. (Pause) I embrace You as One Who has already come, and I unite myself entirely to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Luminous Mysteries - Thursdays *Baptism in the Jordan: We pray in thanksgiving for the great gift of Baptism in which we become children of God. We pray that all people will be given this gift and remain faithful to their Baptismal vows. *The Wedding Feast at Cana: At Cana our Lord manifested His Divinity publicly for the first time. We pray that He will manifest His Divinity in the Holy Eucharist by healing all those who come to Him mind, body, and soul, so that all will come to love and adore Him. *The Proclamation of the Kingdom: We pray for holy priests to boldly proclaim the truths of the faith and lovingly call God s children to repentance. *The Transfiguration of Our Lord: On Mount Tabor Our Lord slightly removed the veil from His Divinity to strengthen the faith of His Apostles. We pray that He will remove the veil from His Divinity in the Holy Eucharist so that all will come to believe in His Eucharistic Presence and will love and adore Him. *The Institution of the Holy Eucharist: We thank God for the greatest of His gifts: Himself in the Holy Eucharist. We pray for all to receive Him with great love and be united with Him in mind and heart. Glorious Mysteries - Wednesdays & Sundays *Resurrection of Our Lord: We pray for all who are dead in sin to come back to the life of grace. *Ascension of Our Lord: We pray for detachment from all created things so that our hearts can be for God alone. *Descent of the Holy Spirit: We pray for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the whole world. Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your well Beloved Spouse. *Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: We pray in thanksgiving for our consecration to Mary and pray that we will be faithful to that consecration by imitating Her virtues. We pray for everyone to be consecrated to Jesus through Her Immaculate Heart. 11

7 Opening Prayers: Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen. With this rosary bind all sinners, all nations, all of our loved ones, Our Holy Father, Archbishop Schnurr and (Bishop of the Diocese) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Joyful Mysteries Mondays & Saturdays *The Annunciation: We pray to always say yes to the will of the Father no matter what the cost. *The Visitation: We pray that Mary will visit us and teach us the ways of holiness. *Birth of Jesus: We pray for profound humility. The wise men bowed down and adored the Word Incarnate looking like a baby. We pray all people will bow down and adore the Word Incarnate under the appearance of bread in the Holy Eucharist. *Presentation of Our Lord: Mary & Joseph presented the Baby Jesus to the Father in the Temple. We present Jesus in the Holy Eucharist to the Father, begging for mercy for the whole world. *Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple: Mary & Joseph found Jesus in His Temple. 8 Closing of Night Prayer Prayer to St. Joseph: Oh St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, we place in you all our interests and desires. Oh St. Joseph, do assist us by your powerful intercession, and obtain for us from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, we may offer our thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers. Oh St. Joseph, we never weary contemplating you and Baby Jesus asleep in your arms; we dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in our name and kiss His fine Head for us and ask Him to return the kiss when we draw our dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, please pray for us and our loved ones. Goodnight Goodnight. Goodnight, O Mary. Goodnight, my Mother. Today was so beautiful for You and for me in harmony. We lived together with Jesus, in sorrow and joy, both You and me. Goodnight. Goodnight, O Mary. Goodnight, my Mother. Salve Regina (sung on Sundays) Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiæ, vita, dulcedo et spes nostra, salve. O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria. Mother gives the blessing and prays: Lord Jesus, we love You in the Most Blessed Sacrament. We beg the grace to love You more every day of our lives. We beg the grace for all of our brothers and sisters throughout the world to come to know You, and love You, and adore You! And we beg You for holy priests and bishops. For these things we give our lives. Father, I abandon myself into Your Hands; do with me what You will. Whatever You may do I thank You. I am ready for all. I accept all. Let only Your will be done in me and in all Your creatures. I wish no more than this, O Lord. Into Your Hands I commend my soul. I offer it to You with all the love of my heart, for I love You, Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into Your Hands, without reserve and with boundless confidence, for You are my Father.
