Benediction Tantum Ergo Tantum ergo sacramentum Veneremur cernui: Et antiquum documentum Novo cedat ritui: Praestet fides supplementum Sensuum defectui. Genitori, genitoque Laus et iubilatio, Salus, honor virtus quoque Sit et benedictio: Procedenti ab utroque Compar sit laudatio. Presider: Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the eucharist as the memorial of your suffering and death. May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood help us to experience the salvation you won for us and the peace of the kingdom where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, on God, for ever and ever. Opening Hymn For All the Saints For all the saints, who from their labors rest, Who you by faith before the world confessed, Your Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed. You were their Rock, their Fortress and their Might; You, Lord, their Captain in the well fought fight; You, in the darkness drear, their one true Light. For Martyrs, who with rapture kindled eye, Saw the bright crown descending from the sky, And seeing, grasped it, You we glorify. But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day; The saints triumphant rise in bright array; The King of glory passes on His way. (all sit) All: Amen. 10 3

Intercessions Antiphon 1 Presider: The Lord is my inheritance; he is good to those who seek him. Psalm 116:1-9 I love the Lord for he has heard the cry of my appeal; for he turned his ear to me in the day when I called him. They surround me, the snares of death, with anguish the tomb; they caught me, sorrow and distress. I called on the Lord s name. O Lord my God deliver me! How gracious is the Lord, and just; our God has compassion. The Lord protects the simple hearts; I was helpless so he saved me. Turn back, my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling. I will walk in the presence of the Lord in the land of the living. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and will be forever. Amen. Antiphon 1 All: The Lord is my inheritance; he is good to those who seek him. Reader: Let us pray to the Father, source of all holiness, and ask him to lead us to holiness: Reader: Holy Father, you want us to be called your sons and daughters, and truly to be such, grant that your holy Church may proclaim you throughout the world: Reader: Holy Father, you want us to walk worthily and please you in all we do, let us abound in doing good works: Reader: Holy Father, you have reconciled us to yourself through Christ, your son; preserve us in your name so that all may be one: Reader: Holy Father, you have called us to a heavenly banquet, through the bread that came down from heaven make us worthy to grow in perfect love: Reader: Holy Father, forgive the offenses of every sinner, let the dead perceive the light of your countenance: Presider: Gathering our prayers and praises into one, we pray: All: Our Father... (all kneel) 4 9

Marian Antiphon Presider: You have left everything to follow me; you will have it all returned a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. Canticle of Mary My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children for ever. Glory to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit As it was in the beginning, is now and will be for ever. Amen. Marian Antiphon All: You have left everything to follow me; you will have it all returned a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. Antiphon 2 Presider: The Lord is my inheritance, he is good to those who seek him. Psalm 116:10-19 I trusted even when I said: I am sorely afflicted, and when I said in my alarm: No man can be trusted. How can I repay the Lord for his goodness to me? The cup of salvation I will raise; I will call on the Lord s name. My vows to the Lord I will fulfill before all his people. O precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his faithful. Your servant, Lord, your servant am I; you have loosened my bonds. A thanksgiving sacrifice I make: I will call on the Lord s name. My vows to the Lord I will fulfill before all his people, in the courts of the house of the Lord, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Glory to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit As it was in the beginning, is now and will be for ever. Amen. Antiphon 2 All: The Lord is my inheritance, he is good to those who seek him. 8 5

Antiphon 3 Presider: Where brothers praise God together, there the Lord will shower his graces. Revelation Canticle O Lord, our God, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. For you have created all things; by your will they came to be and were made. Worthy are you, O Lord, to receive the scroll and break open its seals. For you were slain. With your blood you purchased for God men of every race and tongue, of every people and nation. You made of them a kingdom, and priests to serve our God, and they shall reign on the earth. Worthy are you to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and praise. Glory to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit As it was in the beginning, is now and will be for ever. Amen. Antiphon 3 All: Where brothers praise God together, there the Lord will shower his graces. Reading: Colossians 1:9b-11 Reader: May you attain full knowledge of God s will though perfect wisdom and spiritual insight. Then you will lead a life worthy of the Lord and pleasing to him in every way. You will multiply good works of every sort and grow in the knowledge of God. By the might of his glory you will be endowed with the strength needed to stand fast, even to endure joyfully whatever may come. Homily Responsory Presider: Our Lord is great, mighty is his power. All: Our Lord is great, mighty is his power. Presider: His wisdom is beyond compare, All: then mighty is his power. Presider: Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, All: Our Lord is great, mighty is his power. (all stand) 6 7
