If you desire pastoral care while she is gone, contact the church office, your district Elder, or Pastor Jake. COUNCIL NEWS At its meeting this past Tuesday, Council members received an update from Pastor Rebecca on recent church milestones - high school graduates, presentation of Bibles to 2nd graders, and Professions of Faith by three members. These events are blessings not only for the individuals but also for the entire congregation. There are staff transitions underway, with Brad Zwiers beginning his ministry on July 5. We will officially welcome and commission him on July 15. On July 29 we will thank Bailey Sarver for her work as she takes up a new position at the Campus Chapel of Ann Arbor. The Council approved motions to accept new committee assignments, to officially decommission the PVC committee and thank members for fulfilling their mandate, and to assign specific recommendations of the PVC report to existing committees. The Council will rest during July and begin meeting again in August.
