Why give Gifts of Grace? Sharing the Gospel, the good news of forgiveness, salvation, and new life in Jesus Christ, is the heart of all that we do at Cathedral Church of the Advent. Advent Mission and Outreach seeks to share the Gospel with people here in Birmingham and around the world through word and deed. We feed the hungry here in town with worship, Bible study, and food. We support missionaries in several foreign countries, some of whom risk their lives to share the good news of Jesus. We teach Bible studies to students of local schools, and support a Christ-centered upbringing for orphans in Bolivia. You are all a part of these ministries through your annual tithes, but if you are looking for a special gift this year that would honor a loved one and give glory to Christ, I invite you to give a Gift of Grace, and help provide additional support to one of the Adventsponsored ministries described in this catalog.
