This is a short argument against the Creation Calendar. Dated 4-7-2013. I will respond in blue font. All [bracketed statements] are my own unless otherwise noted. LUNAR SABBATH By Pete Vacca There seems to be a growing interest in an old idea that has been told and retold in the Sacred Name movement for many years. It will surface ever so often and we are obliged to confront it because of the new brethren that have joined us since the last time it was discussed. The subject I am speaking about is the Lunar Sabbath. Just what is the doctrine of the Lunar Sabbath? My understanding is that the new moon that begins a new month also begins a new seven-day cycle, which would change the Sabbath every new moon day. [The Sabbath never changes. It is always on the 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th days of the month. Bro. Pete is making the mistake all the nay-sayers make. He is assuming that the Sabbath is found on the pagan/papal calendar. It is not. The Roman calendar floats on the Creation Calendar, not the other way around. It is the correct observance of new moon that KEEPS the Sabbaths in the correct place.] There are many things to take into consideration when we look at the Sabbath Day. The commandment does not end with keep the Sabbath holy. Let s take a closer look at that Sabbath commandment. It begins in Exodus 20: 8, Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim; in it you shalt not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your manservant or maidservant nor your cattle or the stranger that is within your gates. For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Notice the instructions in that commandment are to work for six days and get your work done and then rest on the seventh day. Let s say that the new moon falls on the 4th day of the week, the day that we call Wednesday. That means we would only have four days to get our work done and then have another Sabbath. We would be breaking that commandment by only keeping part of it. Working for six days is just as important as keeping the Sabbath holy. If it weren t, Yahweh would not have put it in there. Yahweh does not write words just to take up space. He writes the words for us to follow. By keeping a lunar Sabbath, we automatically break the Sabbath command. Here, Bro. Vacca shows his ignorance of the Creation Calendar. I m not saying that Bro. Vacca is stupid, just that he is answering the matter before he hears it. Proverbs 18:13. Ignorance is repairable; it just means he does not know something. The new moon days never fall during the common week; they are a third category of day. Ezekiel 46:1 says that the gate to the temple is shut on all six working days, but open on the Sabbath and new moon.

A few months ago, new moon was on a wednesday. If the tabernacle were still here and I asked you, Would the gate have been open or shut? how would you answer? If you say open because it is new moon day, I would respond that wednesday is a work day, it must be shut. If you agreed, Of course wednesday is a work day, it must be shut. I d reply, But friend, it is new moon, it must be open. Bro. Pete has no correct answer because he is applying a pagan/papal/roman/solar-only/man-made calendar to this Scriptural calendar event. Isaiah 66:23, II Kings 4:18-23, Amos 8:5 are three more witnesses that the new moon cannot fall on one of the six work days. New moon, work day, Sabbath. Let s go back to the Book of Genesis and see if we can determine their use. Genesis 1:14 says they were made for signs and seasons, days and years. Then Genesis 1:16 says the greater light would rule the day and the lesser light would rule the night, and He also made the stars. So it sounds like although the moon would tell us when the new month began, it had nothing to do with which day it was. Plus, Psalms 104:19 says that He appointed the moon for seasons. So close, yet so far. You overlooked one text in this sequence. Genesis 1:14 says that the two great lights would be for signs, seasons, days and years. Thus the calendar of Yah is in the heavens. Psalm 104:19 says that the moon will regulate the seasons (Mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). Leviticus 23:1-3 shows the weekly Sabbath to be the first feast (Mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). The sun tells you when a new day begins; the moon tells you which day it is. Here are a few examples. The new moons are days of the month that are regulated by a very particular phase of the moon. Exodus 12:2 reveals YHVH pointing to a very specific looking moon, telling Moses that this particular phase will reveal when it is the first day of the new year. Here is another example: The full moon (every year) shows up at the evening of Abib 14, which is Passover. This full moon announces the following day as the Sabbath of Unleavened Bread. Interestingly, this particular full moon is linked to the weekly Sabbath. Please see Deuteronomy 5:12-15. This is the 4 th commandment as it reads in Deuteronomy, and it is linked to the day of Israel s deliverance. They were freed from bondage on the 15 th of Abib, a day announced by the full moon. In fact, every one of the annual feast days in Leviticus 23 are regulated by the moon, and they each begin at set, fixed days every year. YHVH does not say in Genesis 1:14 which lights regulate what. By if you look here a little, there a little (Isaiah 28:9-10), you can find plenty of texts that fill in the blanks. 2

We can find no mention in Scripture where the moon has any authority in determining which day it is. [Bro. Vacca does err, not knowing the Scriptures. See above.] I cannot find one Scripture that says the Sabbath is any other day than the seventh day. [Does this mean you only keep the Sabbath once a year or once a month, or do you keep it once a week? New moon never falls on a week day, remember? Where do you put your new moon days?] If we believe in a lunar Sabbath, then the Sabbath could fall on any day of the week. The seventh day would change every new moon. Maybe I should say the Sabbath would change every new moon. This paragraph above is typical of someone who has no idea how the Creation Calendar works. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 (30) The Sabbaths on the lunar calendar are each and every one the seventh day OF THE WEEK. The Sabbath does not fall on the Gregorian, a pagan/papal calendar. Bro. Vacca is trying to compare apples (the calendar he understands) with oranges (the Calendar of Scripture). The Calendar described in Scripture looks like the one above, every month. Yahweh says that His laws are not a burden to us; that they are for our good. [Agreed] What good is that? Is it that every seven days we are worn out from work and need a day of rest? [Where does it say in Scripture that the Sabbath (or rest day) is every seven days?] Scripture says that Yahweh rested after He finished His six days of work. [That would be six work days, but you are forgetting new moon day.] And do you think it would be a burden to try and hold down a job and have to take a different day off for Sabbath every month? Do you think that would be fair to your employer? Would Yahweh expect your employer to have to be burdened in that manner? [You know what? YHVH doesn t care about our employers or what they think. YHVH cares whether we obey Him or not. No law should be a burden if it is a righteous law. We will either obey, or not.] I think Yahweh tries to make our lives simple. We are the ones that complicate things. Scripture also has a segment of time before the first week that did not count against the week. Genesis 1:1-2 reveals a segment of time and a Creation event that took place before the first day of the week. Creating heaven and earth was the first Creation event, and it took place inside the parameters of time. Every month since then has begun with a new moon, so what do you think the FIRST month of earth s history began with? New Moon. It looks like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 (30) Light was created on the first day of the week, but it was the SECOND Creation event. So you see, the first Sabbath was the seventh DAY of the week, but it was the 8 th day of the month. YHVH said this was a fitting time for a rest day, and I agree fully. I also observe this day on Yah calendar, not man s. 3

We have already looked at Genesis 1 when the lights were created. Did the days of creation begin with the first day of the new moon? Certainly not! The moon was not visible on the first day of creation. But Yahweh counted seven consecutive days to get to the Sabbath. Yahweh created a seven-day weekly cycle in the very beginning, even though the moon was not visible until the fourth day. A second witness to the seven-day weekly cycle can be found in Exodus 16 when Yahweh provided manna for six days, but did not provide any on the seventh day. We must never forget the information provided for us in Isaiah 28:9, Whom shall He teach knowledge and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breast. So, Bro. Vacca wants to invoke Isaiah 28:9. Very good. Moses used two different words in the creation account. One means created from scratch (H#1254, Bara), the other doesn t. Created from scratch (bara) is found in Genesis 1:1, an example of the other is found in verse 16. The sun, moon, stars and all the heavens were created when YHVH spoke the earth into existence in Genesis 1:1. In Genesis 1:3-5, YHVH creates a light that divides day from night, light from darkness. There is only ONE light that does that in our universe. YHVH lit the sun on the first work day so the moon was illuminated that night as well. This was THREE days before the 4 th day of creation, yet there were three DAYS and three NIGHTS of this work week all before day 4. You cannot have a day (yom) without the sun as yom means heat (as from the sun). Since the sun was there before day 4, so was the moon because they were all created at the same time in Genesis 1:1. This is what the Hebrew SAYS in context. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Genesis 1:16-19 This word made (Strong s H# 6213) is used several times during the creation week. This is the Hebrew word asah, (ah-saw). It means advanced upon or appointed. For example: He appointed (asah) the moon for seasons Psalm 104:19. Here David very nearly quotes Genesis 1:14, only he s very specific about the role of the moon. Seasons here in Psalm 104:19 is the same Hebrew word found in Genesis 1:14; mo edim, appointed times or set feasts. If I made you a general in my army, does that mean you did not exist until I pinned the stars on your lapel? No, it means I advanced upon or appointed you as a general in my army. You existed prior to your appointment. Here s the scenario: YHVH created heaven and the earth at a certain time consuming point in time. He doesn t call it a day because the time piece that regulates the day was not yet illuminated. Then on day one, YHVH lights the sun creating light and, of course, day and night as a result. If the earth and sun were created during the initial event, it is plausible that the planets, moons, etc., were created at the same time as well. We are not wresting Scripture when we make this statement because the underlying Hebrew could have been (and we are suggesting should have been) translated in this way. 4

So on day four, YHVH advanced upon the luminaries that He had created earlier [when He created the heavens and the earth and then illuminated on day one], and ordained them, appointed them as time keepers. The moon rules the week/sabbath (signs) and the month (seasons). The sun rules the day and the year. The moon is listed as having a roll in the Creation Calendar as well as the sun, so the Creation calendar is NOT solar only. Men have wrested Scripture to mean something it does not. There were 3 Yom s (meaning heat from the sun), or 3 days before the 4 th day of creation. The Hebrew word used then does not mean created from scratch, rather it means advanced upon, meaning that the light created on day one was none other than the sun. Notice that the first day of the month (Genesis 1:1-2) the moon was not illuminated, it was dark. Bro. Vacca is right on one point, the moon was not visible on the first day of creation (Genesis 1:1-2). Lunar Sabbath keepers who have done their homework know that the first visible crescent does not announce new moon day, this is a Babylonian (pagan) practice. 1 Scripture and nature reveals that the dark of the moon is the renewal phase. The first visible crescent announces the first work day, not new moon. Then in Isaiah 28:10, we are given the instructions to activate the information. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Very true. This is precisely how we have learned that the Sabbath is regulated by the moon. Genesis 1:14 says that the two great lights would be for signs, seasons, days and years. This would be either the sun or the moon. Thus the calendar of Yah is written in the heavens (where man can t mess with it). The underlying Hebrew word for seasons above is mo edim, meaning appointed times, set feasts. Psalm 104:19 says that the moon will regulate the seasons (mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). Leviticus 23:1-3 shows the weekly Sabbath to be the first feast (mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). ONE of the great lights in the heavens will regulate the Sabbath. This chain of texts alone is enough to prove that the Sabbath is by the moon. Unless of course you can go outside and look at the sun and tell whether it is satyrday. If so, someone please contact me and tell me how this is done. That is how doctrine and Scriptures are understood. If those instructions are not followed, then what you end up with is doctrine made with Scriptures taken out of context. You must search diligently and find everything to do with the subject. Then you must make sure you do not change the context that is being carried out by those Scriptures. If you maintain that understanding, then the truth will shine through. This is exactly what I have just done above. This is why I can speak with authority because I know for a fact that Scripture supports the Lunar Calendar and Lunar Sabbath. The utter LACK of evidence in Scripture for the seventh day of the pagan/papal calendar (satyrday) or a Sabbath on a repeating seven day cycle is also authoritative. Before disproving the lunar Sabbath, Bro. Vacca, try proving your own using Scripture alone (sola scriptura). 5

Let s take the Feast of Weeks, for example. We believe the Scriptures teach us to count fifty days from the weekly Sabbath within the week of Unleavened Bread. [This is what you believe; it is not what Scripture teaches.] This year, we would count from Sabbath, April 7 th, seven Sabbaths complete to Sabbath May 26 th, which would be not only 49 days, but it would be 7 Sabbaths complete, from Sabbath to Sabbath. Then Sunday (the first day of the week) May 27 th would be day number 50 and we would celebrate Pentecost. Where does it say that Pentecost is 50 days from wavesheaf? There are so many ways in Scripture and nature to unequivocally prove that Feast of Weeks (aka Pentecost) is not a mere 50 days from wavesheaf that it defies understanding. I certainly never saw this (until I looked). If you are on-line, please find this comprehensive study attached here. In short, the translation of Even unto at the beginning of Leviticus 23:16 is corrupt. It should read While from. The actual count to Pentecost is 7 Sabbaths complete + 1 morrow + 50 days = Feast of Weeks. Multiple proofs are in the link provided. Something that must be covered before you study the link above is that the new moon days are not included in the Scriptural weeks. They are a third category of day. Israel did not recognize New Moon day as a day of the week. If last month began with a new moon and the second month after creation began with a new moon, what do you think the FIRST month of the first year of earth s history began with? New Moon. Genesis 1:1-2 and Ezekiel 46:1 proves that new moon day (the first day of every month, even the FIRST month of earth s history) is a third category of day, not counted as a week day. Genesis 1:1-2 reveals that Yah s Creation week began the first month of earth s history, and began with a new moon day. That time consuming, unnamed, unnumbered creation event was not part of the SIX day work week. In this Creation model, the Sabbath was indeed the seventh day of the week (it always has been), but it was the EIGHTH day of the first month (see calendar model on the bottom of page 3). Ezekiel 46:1 reveals that the temple gate is shut during each and every one of the SIX working days, but it is opened each and every Sabbath and new moon. Amos 8:5, Isaiah 66:23 and II Kings 4:23 also prove that the days of set-apart convocation (Sabbaths and new moon days) belong in a separate category, apart from the six common work days. Amos: The unscrupulous venders are seeking to cheat the Israelites, but it is Sabbath and new moon. Israel won't come out to buy their wares until a work day. Isaiah: We will worship YHVH at the appointed times, not on work days. II Kings: The boy collapses in the field, his mother races out, scoops him up and runs inside. There the boy dies in her lap. So she runs upstairs, places the boy on Elisha's bed, then runs to her husband asking permission to take a donkey and a servant with her to go see the prophet. To which he inquires, It is neither New Moon, nor Sabbath, why do you want to go see him today? Where was the man? In his field. What was he doing? Working. This is vitally important in order to accurately understand the count to Pentecost, because when counting the Sabbath s complete, this means counting seven work weeks only, it does not say to count days from wavesheaf (which would include new moon days). New moon days are not included in the Sabbaths complete. 6

Now let s see what would happen if we were keeping a Lunar Sabbath. From April 7 th to May 12 th would be 5 Sabbaths complete. That is from Sabbath to Sabbath. But we would run into a problem during the 6 th week. Just 4 days into the week, Thursday, May 17 th, we would have a new moon and a Sabbath. How do we get the other 3 days to finish that last week? And where and when do we begin counting for the next week so we end up with 7 Sabbaths complete? I wish Bro. Pete had included a written calendar or told us the year he wrote this. I think it was 2010, but I can t be sure. And here, Pete runs into the problem spoken of on the previous page. New moon. He attempts to include it in the 6 th week, not knowing (I assume) that Scripture denies this possibility. Clearly, Bro. Pete is counting 50 days from wavesheaf even though we are only told to number Sabbaths from Abib 16. Lunar Sabbath keepers don t have this problem because we do not attempt to number the new moon days in the seven Sabbaths complete. Some people say, I get confused using a secular calendar. Our Sabbaths are determined by a civil calendar, and our Holy Days by a lunar calendar. You think that is confusing? [Yes it is confusing. Why would anyone keep the feasts by the Hebrew lunar calendar and the weekly Sabbaths based on the pagan/papal/roman/man-made/solar-only planetary weeks? Do you see a separation of calendars in Leviticus 23? Here the weekly Sabbaths are called feasts (23:1-3), then using the SAME Hebrew word, the annual feasts that are kept on the lunar calendar are called feasts (23:4).] I think the above scenario of trying to figure out when to keep Feast of Weeks is what is really confusing. [It is only confusing because Bro. Vacca does not understand the Creation Calendar. He is looking at every calendar segment in Scripture and assumes that the penmen of Scripture were referring to the Gregorian calendar.] I have to keep the civil calendar because that s the one that governs the whole world. And this world belongs to the secular, doesn t it? I just keep track of the new moons and work Yahweh s feast days in where ever they fit. Not a problem at all. Agreed. The pagan/papal calendar floats all over the place. The Father s Sabbath s are fixed date events (the 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th days of the month), so are the annual Sabbaths. It does not matter where they fall on the Roman calendar if one is not keeping the Roman calendar. Well wasn t the calendar changed at one time? How do we know the days are the same? Yes, the calendar was changed. The Julian calendar originated in 46 B.C.E., named for Julius Caesar. By 1528, [sic] it was 10 full days off. The spring equinox was March 11 th instead of March 21 st. The reason was that they had miscalculated leap year. When Pope Gregory XIII reformed the calendar from the Julian to the Gregorian in October 1582, the order of days of the week were never interrupted. Thursday, October 4 th was followed by Friday, October 15 th. This put the calendar back in order. England changed in 1752. (These facts can be found in the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1910 Edition, Vol. 3, Page 740.) All this is true, but this is the seven day planetary week that Rome adopted in 321 A.D., not the calendar of Scripture. Bro. Vacca assumes that the pagan/papal week days that have not changed in order are the ones in Scripture. If this is true, why then, when you count backward by seven from today, do you come to tues, wed, thurs for the crucifixion events, not fri, sat, sun? Most satyrday sabbath keepers jump through all manner of hoops trying to explain this away, when the easiest solution is to admit that Israel was not using the Roman calendar. We know this is a fact because in 341 A.D., Rome forced Hillel II to afix the Hebrew calendar in a manner so that Rome could understand it and make sure Easter never fell on Passover. 7

The days of the week have never been changed because their order would be very difficult to change. In the beginning, the days of the week were not named, they were numbered. It would be difficult to change the order of 1234567. If it, all of a sudden, were changed to 1647235, everyone would take notice. Even the secular world realizes that Sunday is the first day of the week. And the scholarly world knows that Sunday was originally the second day of the pagan/planetary week, not the first. It BECAME the first day of the week in 321 A.D. when Constantine venerated the day of the sun, by promoting Sunday from the second day of the week to the first. In fact, this is how satyrday became the seventh day of the week. When moved up, sunday bumped satyrday out of the #1 slot all the way to the end of the pagan/planetary week. And as Pete Vacca pointed out, the order of days have not changed (true statement), meaning that satyrday Sabbath keepers are actually worshipping on the first day of the week, not the seventh. Here is a pencil sketch from a first century pagan calendar. The days of the planetary week are as follows: saturn s day, sun s day, moon s day, mars day, mercury s day, jupiter s day, venus day. Names for the days came from the Romans. [Actually, the names above came from the pagan calendar LONG before Rome adopted their planetary week in 321 A.D.] The 1st day; Sunday, came from (Dies-Solis) day of the sun, so-called because it was dedicated to the worship of the sun. The 2nd day, Monday, came from (Monandaeg) which means the moon s day. Monday was sacred to the goddess of the moon. The 3rd day, Tuesday (Tiu), was named for Norse, god of war. The 4th day, Wednesday, (wenzdih), is from Wodan or Odin, the chief god in Teutonic mythology. At first, the Christians called it Woden s Day. Then they changed it to Wednesday. The 5th day, Thursday, was named for the ancient Norseman, Thor. This day was sacred to the Teutonic god of thunder, the mighty Thor. The 6th day, Friday, was for Frigedaeg. This was dedicated to the goddess of love, Frigg. The 7th day, Saturday (Saeter-daeg), was named for the Roman god, Saturn. 8

I don t know if you caught that but he also assumes that Rome adopted the names of Norse gods for the name of three of their week days. This is also not true. The Norse gods were added by the Scandinavians in the Middle Ages after they adopted the pagan/papal calendar of Rome. Is there some spell cast over the Gregorian calendar that causes its observers to think that it goes all the way back to Creation (some 6000 years) while at the same time it is believed to be invented by Rome? Come now, let us reason together. So you see, even though the calendar had changes in it, even though the days were first numbered, then later named, the order was never changed. The world at large knows this. They call Sunday the first day of the week. They have unsuccessfully tried to change the calendar as of late and make Sunday the seventh day so that the weekend would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then they could return to work on the first day of the week, which would be Monday. Too many people complained about it, so they have abandoned the idea for the present. Europe said they would go ahead and do it anyway, but later changed their minds. The Hebrew week days were numbered, still are. The pagans named their week days after their gods. Israel did not use or adopt the pagan planetary week unless they were in apostasy. Bro. Vacca is comparing apples (Hebrew calendar) and oranges (pagan calendar) and confusing them with each other. Funny, this change was already done in 321 A.D. when satyrday was removed from the first day column and moved to the seventh, moving every day up one slot, ending up with Sunday in the first column. This change did not then, and would not if done today, cause any change to the Hebrew calendar found in Scripture. The 23rd chapter of Leviticus is dedicated to the feasts of Yahweh. Notice the very first one in verse 3, Six days shall you work, but the seventh is a Sabbath to Yahweh; no work shall be done on the Sabbath. Once again, we see that if we do not work for six days and rest the seventh, we are breaking the Sabbath commandment. That is correct. Please note that the Sabbath is the first feast listed in Leviticus (23:1-3). Genesis 1:14 says that the two great lights would be for signs, seasons, days and years. Thus the calendar of Yah is in the heavens. Psalm 104:19 says that the moon will regulate the seasons (Mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). Leviticus 23:1-3 shows the weekly Sabbath to be the first feast (Mo edim--appointed times, set feasts). Genesis 1:14 said that either the sun or moon will regulate the mo edim. The Sabbath is the first mo edim. The Psalmist says the moon regulates these mo edim. So, what light regulates the Sabbath? If you say the sun, I ll probably choke. Can you go outside, look at the sun and tell whether it is satyrday or the Sabbath? If the answer is no (and that is the only honest answer), then try the other luminary. It s really quite simple if we do things the way Yahweh has prescribed them. Life can be rewarding and easy. When man tries to incorporate his ideas into the equation, things get very complicated. [You mean like adopting the pagan/papal calendar and assuming that this is the calendar of Scripture?] More times than not, things start to go wrong and disunity begins to be the dominating factor. When that happens, it s like the domino effect. Everything will start to fall apart and even solid doctrine will go by the wayside. 9

I understand your concern; however, adopting the truth enables the Father to reveal even more truth to us. It was accepting the Set-Apart Name YHVH that opened our eyes to the feasts. It was the feasts that opened our eyes to the new moon days being a third category of day that is not included in the work week. It was the new moon days that opened our eyes to the Creation Calendar (Lunar Sabbath), and I could list 2-3 other major steps that come AFTER the Creation Calendar, but you have not accepted the Calendar of YHVH yet, meaning you will reject these other new (old) truths too. I shall not have your blood on my head by opening Pandora s box before the Spirit of YHVH has prepared you for what s to come, only to have you reject the light and truth the Father has continued to grace us with. Here s how it is. On the first day after the exodus from Ramses, Israel followed the cloud and made about 30 miles and camped in Succoth. Were they in the promised land yet? The following day, they followed the cloud and went from Succoth to Etham on the border of Egypt and the Wilderness of Sin. Were they in the promised land yet? A short time later, the followed the cloud to the bank of the Red Sea, then crossed over. Were they in the promised land yet? A months later, they were following the cloud and arrived at Mt. Sinai. Were they in the promised land yet? You get my point. The cloud is moving. We need either follow or be left in the wilderness. At each step, Israel gained just a little more light, just a little more truth, a little more of what prepared them to take the land of promise. And friends, those not taking these steps are STILL in the wilderness. They came out of Egypt, which is great, but the journey to the promised land is exactly like the journey to all truth. You take a step at a time. If YHVH had poured everything upon these released slaves all at once, they would have fled back to Egypt, and nearly did a time or two. The Father will not be done giving you the truth until you are in the heavenly kingdom. The reason for this is because Israel went off a whoring and forgot who they were and what they were taught. Now we are all coming out of Babylon (religious confusion) and have brought out all our spiritual baggage with us. It appears that satyrday is identical in nature to the golden calf Aaron made Israel at the foot of Mt. Sinai. It is a strong enough attraction to divert your attention from the moving cloud. And everything he puts his hand to turns out good. Turn from the false doctrines of those who are trying to cause confusion in the assemblies. Keep strong and follow the Scripture to remain in the truth of Yahweh. I agree. And while the Father HAS blessed us by overcoming Sunday worship and moving to the seventh day of the week, do you honestly believe that he embedded His feasts in the lunar calendar and embedded His Sabbaths in a pagan calendar? Do you honestly think that He s through blessing us? All He s done is wink at our ignorance, while waiting for us to wake up out of our lethargy and Laodiceanism, and follow the cloud. That He is patient is to our advantage. 10

It was the Jews who adopted the Babylonian calendar, including the days beginning at sunset (the days in Scripture begin at dawn), the months beginning with the first visible crescent, as well as the pagan names of the months. The Jews are not Israelites; they are Khazars (Edomites). All the months in Scripture are by ordinal numbers. The Israelites certainly apostatized and fell into the same or similar calendar corruption as the Jews, but there the similarities cease. 12
