ACTS 26:19-32 TRUE OR FALSE NOVEMBER 4, 2012 1. The Name of the king before whom Paul appeared was king Pharaoh. 2. Festus accused Paul of being mad (crazy). 3. Paul was fearful of preaching to gospel of Jesus Christ. 4. Paul spoke of his heavenly vision on the way to Damascus. 5. Paul began preaching to people in Damascus, Jerusalem, and then the entire region of Judea, making his way finally to the gentiles. 6. Paul s message to all these people was clear: Repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. 7. The Jews were offended at this message and sought to kill Paul. 8. It was the grace of God that spared Paul from this death. 9. Paul declared that the Messiah was not appointed to suffer. 10. Paul declared that The Messiah would be the first to rise from the dead. 11. Festus felt that Paul had become a fanatic in his faith. 12. Paul countered Festus, declaring that he spoke the words of truth and soberness. 13. Paul even appealed to Agrippa s understanding of these truths. 14. Paul declared that these truths were not hidden in a corner. 15. Agrippa said that Paul almost persuaded him to become a Christian. 16. Agrippa came close to salvation. He was at the point of decision. 17. Paul declared that others would have his experience of faith and know the Christ of forgiveness and eternal life. 18. Paul desired that their faith would be a faith in freedom rather than a faith in bonds. 19.
