What is Bayanihan? [buy-uh-nee-hun] Bayanihan is a Filipino word and is best shown by old tradition of friends and neighbors helping a moving family by literally carrying their house on their backs. Bayanihan refers to a spirit of communal unity and cooperation to achieve a particular objective. Bayanihan Ministry is a community (communal unity) approach to Philippine mission.

Update on Groundwork Projects 2017-18 Lads to Leaders Conducted 2 nd annual convention at Baguio April 2017 2018 convention will be held late 2018 to give Jun F. time to train participating congregations. Jun spoke with several churches regarding L2L during his summer campaign HAYUMA Seminar/Retreat HAYUMA is a 1-2 day seminar/retreat for church leaders and (later) their families Conducted 12 seminars across Luzon in July 2017 HAYUMA Reload, a men s retreat for 25-30 young church leaders who are passionate preachers and church planters. These are potential key ministry partners and students of the proposed Grad Sch. Heritage Bible College Church Planting & Development Education Team/Steering Committee Initial meeting July 27, 2017; monthly meeting; propose curriculum Five-Year Plan attached; Grad School opens August 2018 Advancement Team Promotion/Fundraising Board of Trustees The main objective of Bayanihan Ministry is to assist churches grow and evangelize through church planting. This church planting and development ministry aims to Unite, Equip & Resource churches and workers. We are seeking lead partners for this ministry before launching first quarter of 2018 Target locations: Baguio with the School (2018); Metro Manila (2019); Bicol (2020); 7 other locations by 2021

Five-Year Training (Expansion) Plan

Initially the Church Relations Office of Heritage Bible College is responsible in building the express road network with churches and individuals through activities that promote cooperation, partnership and lasting relationship.
