Ways to CONNECT Community Worship service next sunday, November 15 Wesley Memorial is joining with several other churches in High Point to sponsor a Community Worship Service. The first of these services will be held on Sunday, November 15, at 6 pm at St. Mary s Episcopal Church. The Reverend Kinston Jones, Pastor of St. Stephen s Metropolitan AME Zion Church (High Point) will be the preacher. join our Live alive Events on tuesday, November 17 Live Alive gatherings are for adults 55+ to enjoy and fellowship. Activities begin at 10 am, Live Alive Book Club at 10:30 am in the Small Dining Room. Our November speaker is Debbie Lumpkins of the High Point Arts Council. This month s lunch menu is: turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, bread and pumpkin or pecan pie. During the month of November, Wesley Memorial will experience an exciting new stewardship program, Earn. Save. Give. Wesley s Simple Rules for Money, developed by popular author and pastor James A. Harnish. Two of our adult Sunday School classes, Perspectives (D203) and Covenant (D202), and our kindergarten through fifth grade classes will be studying the book. All are welcome. No registration needed. On Consecration Sunday, November 22, we will welcome the Reverend Dr. James A. Harnish to our pulpits. He will preach at our two worship services (9:00 & 11:00).
