STEWARDSHIP MOMENT This year, the Stewardship Team focused energy and effort into presenting to adult Sunday School classes in order to spend less worship time with pledge requests. We hope you will prayerfully consider your pledge for 2017 and opt to increase toward a tithe, if you don't already. If you tithe, thank you and we ask you consider a step above. Jimmie Moore, John Morris OPEN ARMS DINNER SMALL GROUP: A small group will be providing dinner to students in the tutoring program at Open Arms Ministry on the following Tuesday nights: November 15, December 13. We'll plan on feeding about 40 kids. The first night's menu is peanut butter and jelly with fruit and veggie slices. If you'd like to join us in serving in any or all of these evenings, please meet at Open Arms Ministry house between 5:30-6:00 p.m. (437 E. Sprague Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). We'll serve the meal between 7:00-7:30 p.m. and then clean up. Between the meal prep and service, we'll have a devotional time. The Shepherd s Center Presents Fall Life-long Learning Series: The Fall 2016 Adventures in Learning education series sponsored by the Shepherd s Center will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 25 & 27 and November 1 & 3, at Ardmore Baptist Church with classes beginning at 9 a.m. each day. The series includes six exciting morning course selections, a luncheon option of presentation by local professionals as well as three stimulating afternoon course options.
