DEVELOPMENT Identify the link between Hly Thursday/Last Supper and the Eucharist Eucharist is a Greek wrd that means Thanksgiving. At mass the priest changes the bread and wine int the bdy and bld f Christ which is called cnsecratin but they still lk and taste like bread and wine. This is similar t what Jesus said in the stry we just read abut the Last Supper. When Jesus shared his last meal with his disciples, he was celebrating his lve fr them just as we celebrate ur lve fr each ther when we have special meals with ur family and friends. If students questin why Jesus was killed, explain because He was brave t speak against the pwerful peple.
