How to Express His Kingdom Matthew 5:9-12
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matt. 5:1-12

There is no peace, says the LORD, for the wicked. Is. 48:22
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with
its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, Eph. 2:14-15 NIV
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom. 5:1
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom. 14:17
Peacemakers are not Peacekeepers
Peacemakers are not Peacekeepers *Do not avoid conflict
These who have turned the world upside down have come here also. Acts 17:6
Peacemakers are not Peacekeepers *Do not avoid conflict

Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. Ps. 85:10
Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy. Prov. 12:20 NIV
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 5:10

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed,
but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people s matters.
16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. 1 Peter 4:12-16
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 5:10
10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium,
at Lystra-what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim. 3:10-12
For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, Phil. 1:29

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Matt. 5:11
18 If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are
not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his master.
If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name s sake,
because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.
23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin;
but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law,
They hated Me without a cause. John 15:18-25
These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that
whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. John 16:1-3

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matt. 5:12
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than
to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. Heb. 11:24-26
