Through the Holy Spirit, Baptism is a bath that purifies, justifies, and sanctifies. Remember to pray for our newly baptized who have entered in the Body of Christ on Aug 21, Antonio Michael Kugler child of Leo Kugler & Alyssia Milano, and on Aug 22, Lauren Ann Hall child of Lisa Hall. May They put on Christ, as he becomes a member of the church. 5 CONDOLENCES: (CCC 1405) There is no surer pledge or clearer sign of this great hope in the new heavens and new earth in which righteousness dwells, than the Eucharist. Every time this mystery is celebrated, the work of our redemption is carried on and we break the one bread that provides the medicine of immortality, the antidote for death, and the food that makes us live forever in Jesus Christ. With this great hope we pray for our sister who has died: Mary G. Kanoskie, August 18. May she enjoy the eternal banquet the Lord has prepared for her.
