The Rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary Dowry Tour 2018-2020 - www.dowrytour.org.uk The statue of Our Lady of Walsingham is coming to a city near you Dear Pilgrim, Thank you for picking up a copy of the Shrine s 2018 Calendar. This booklet contains details of the Major Pilgrimages, together with the Shrine s standard daily programme. Please have a look to see if your diocese or Catholic organisation is coming on pilgrimage this year. In addition to the Major Pilgrimages listed, the Shrine hosts many parish, group and family pilgrimages. If you are not already coming on one, please give some thought to organising one yourself. The Shrine has a Travel Bureau and Pilgrimage Team who would be delighted to provide you with support and assistance in arranging a visit. Their contact details are below. Whether you come on a visit to the Shrine as part of a Major Pilgrimage, with a parish group, as a family or individual, we hope that your visit to Walsingham will be spiritually enriching. Don t forget to purchase a copy of the new Pilgrim Handbook, the perfect companion for your visit to Our Lady s Shrine. The Shrine has a Travel Bureau which helps parish groups, families and individuals arrange a pilgrimage to Walsingham. We will work with you to put together a tailor-made programme. Elmham House is the Shrine s own guesthouse, open from March to December. It can accommodate over 100 guests, catering for groups as well as for individuals. In addition to the main house, there are two annexe buildings, located near the gardens. There are single and twin-bedded ensuite and standard rooms, as well as two ensuite family rooms. We now provide towels in all our rooms. Facilities include lounges, a library and a large dining room with a conservatory. Our licensed restaurant serves a set menu.
