Whirlwind Or Tornado? Whirlwind or tornado? When we think of these terms we often think of the terrible storms that cause so much damage, but when we look at what the scriptures say, we may find something besides what was previously thought. So come along with me as we buckle down the storm shutters and get ready for a tempest. As we begin our search of these powerful events in which many have said are an act of nature or god(s), lets explore four definitions according to the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance Of The Hebrew Bible. Whirlwind - found in the concordance at; 5492- Hurricane, Red Sea, storm, tempest 5590- To rush upon- to toss-be (toss with, be sore troubled, come out as a whirlwind-scatter 5591- A hurricane storm-y tempest whirlwind 8175- To storm; by implication to shiver, i.e. -fearbe horribly afraid, fear, hurl as a storm come like or take away as with a whirlwind. Now as we begin, keep these explanations of the Hebrew scriptures in mind so they may be properly applied in the following. The creator's word spoken in Jere 23:19 says that the whirlwind is to fan grievously upon the heads of the wicked. Jere 30:23 says that it will cause the wicked pain and will go forward with angry force, " a continuing whirlwind, another words the storms will increase in pain and destruction upon the Gentiles, and all people mentioned in Psalms 83:1-10 yes, there will be a increase in whirlwinds causing great loss of wealth, services, and property. They have tormented and persecuted the true people of the Almighty and must pay for doing it. Now in this example of the whirlwind I think of the recent sightings of six (6) tornadoes in one area of The Southwestern United States. When you consider in what area most of these storms hit ask yourself who lives or operates a business there. " For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt " Jeremiah, Prophet of Yahweh. Keep this in mind, and ask yourself, is the Almighty angry? We see in Jere 30:24 that "The fierce anger of Yahweh shall not return until he have done it," (brought pain upon the head of the wicked) " and until he have performed the intent of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it" 1

So we see that in the heart or mind of Yahweh, that he has a mission or purpose for the storms. The rulers of this present day world government would have people believe the increase of the storms is because of the depletion of the ozone layer. One group of people called Militias believe the United States government is to be blamed for the bombing of the Federal building in Oklahoma, and for the creation of a devise suppose to be capable of causing earth quakes and storms. While it is unclear who actually committed the bombing we know they are falsely giving credit that is not due to the USA by thinking that the USA could make a device to cause storms, close examination will reveal that Yahweh is the one responsible for theses storms called tornadoes or whirlwinds.. In EZEKIEL 1:4 we have a description of a whirlwind with interesting clarity it reads; " And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was round about it and out of the middle thereof as the colour of amber, out of the middle of the fire" Verse 27 "And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins-(side) even upward, and from the appearance of his loins-(side) even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about." Who is responsible for the so called whirlwind or tornado? Look closer! Verse 28 "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke. Chapter 2:1 " And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee." Daniel 7:9 " I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire" So as we look we see something taking shape here as described by the word of Yahweh, not by me. As impossible as it may seem we see proof from the bible that Yahweh is the one that is seen in the whirlwind or tornado. Directly to the point we see in Job 38:1,and 40:6 Yahweh answers job out of the whirlwind. If we hold close to our hearts the truth, no matter how farfetched it may seem, we just might be able to open our eyes and have revealed to us secrets not known since the times of the ancient. It is no crime for one to seek truth and knowledge. If this was not so we would not have been told in Daniel 12:8,9 it reads; " And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O messenger of Yahweh, what shall be the end of these things?" And he said, Go thy way, Daniel for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end." Habakkuk 2:3 2

" For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry(comes slowly), wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry(it will not fail)." Another words these words are to remain secret and sealed until the end time. My point is, that in the last days things not previously known concerning the people of Yahweh, and events surrounding the ruling powers on earth are not to be made known until the world reached a particular time in its history. In our generation we understood little about the relationship and mannerism of The Most High. We thought it foolish to think that Yahweh and his angels had vehicles for transportation, even though we are told in Psalms 68:17; " The chariots of Yahweh are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels, Yahweh is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place" Strong's Concordance definition of Chariot - found at 7392,7393 To ride (on an animal or in a vehicle), a vehicle Proof that these are vehicles may be found in II Kings 2:1 here Elijah, a man, is taken up in the air by one of Yahweh's chariots, or spaceships as we call them today. Jere 4:13 " Behold, he (Yahweh) shall come up as clouds (in the air), and his chariotsvehicles shall be as a (like a) whirlwind: his horses(vehicles) are swifter than the eagles" (fighter planes helicopters). Isaiah 31:5 "As birds flying, so will Yahweh of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it." Isaiah 66:15-17 says that;yahweh will come with fire, with his chariots- " For see how Yahweh comes in fire, his chariots(vehicles) like the tempest, to satisfy his anger with burning, his threats with flaming fire."" For by fire will Yahweh execute judgment, and by his sword (people Zech 9:13), against all mankind, the victims (Slain-killed) by Yahweh will be many." Yahweh tells in the above scripture of his coming, and the rise and domination of his people using their combined great force as a whirlwind. Isaiah 41:16-17 " You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and you shall rejoice in Yahweh, and glory in the Holy One of Israel. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue fails for thirst, I Yahweh will hear them, I the Elohim of Israel will not forsake them." Great numbers of Yahweh's people today are absent of the true knowledge of themselves and their creator. Because of this Yahweh will allow laws to be passed by the oppressor, and a series of earth shaking events to happen in order for his people to turn their attention from the source of their affliction to him. 3

Yahweh's people have relied heavily upon their taskmasters and overseers. We have picked up the worst of their habits, and the lowest of morals. We have become so bad that we would rather choose false beliefs and trust the salvation of our souls in a lie. Proverbs 1:24-31 "Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded. When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Yahweh." " Therefor shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices" Israel should repent while there is still time, because when The Most High comes pouring out vengeance their will not be space or time to ask for forgiveness. The creator simply says for you to continue in the way that you were doing and reap the reward for the actions of your life. O Israel, wash your heart-mind from wickedness that you may be saved, while there is time! Yahweh continues in Jere 25:32-35, his word tells of his people being mentioned as a great whirlwind or nation that shall be raised up from coast to coast that will kill many of the people of the nations from one end of the earth to the other Yahweh uses his people as a sword or tool that will bring judgment upon all that stood against Yahweh and who persecuted his people. Yahweh and his people will fight together in that day. His ships will be seen over them, (the remnant) the same way, as it was in the days of old with their forefathers. The awesome power of his arrows/weaponry shall go forth as lightning. So remember, much more is earmarked to be revealed in this special time that we live in. As we continue in our search to understand about these storms, if we dig a little deeper, we see another meaning of whirlwind. Zech 7:14 Here Yahweh is talking about how he scattered his people among other nations, doing it with force and anger, like how a whirlwind scatters and tears up anything in its path.. Yahweh will tell his people when the time is right, he will sound the warning by blowing the trumpet, he shall go as whirlwinds of the south. I know that much of what has been told in this study guide seems impossible, but remember; Habakkuk 1:5; " Behold you among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I (yhwh) will work a work in your days, which you will not believe, though it be told you." 4

Verse 2:14 " For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea." Nahum 1:3 " Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit(forgive) the wicked: Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet." It will become more important for each of us as the days draw near at hand, that we keep a open mind, and remember the truth of the words of Yahweh, especially those already given to us. The question really is can anyone afford to disregard that Yahweh will reveal hidden treasures of his word and events to his servants in the latter days, or end times as it is sometimes called? Always remember; Amos 3:7 " Surely Yahweh Elohim will do nothing, but(accept) he reveal his secret unto his servants the prophets." Amos 3:2 " You only(israel) have I known of all the families(nations) of the earth; therefor I will punish you for all your iniquities(continuous sins)." Zechariah 12:13 Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first. This gives us a key to see that events will begin in the land of the North were Judah is living, and Yahweh will be seen over us in the great cloud as we come out of the North country read Zech 9:14; "And Yahweh shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning, and Yahweh Elohim shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the South."
