Paul Crouch: January 2013 TBN s partners and the Crouch family have had a long history of loving, supporting, and praying for the nation of Israel. Over the past 42 years, Paul, Jan, Matt, and Laurie have hosted dozens of TBN tours to the Holy Land bringing thousands of partners to visit that sacred land. TBN Reports News from the TBN Family WGTW TV-48, TBN s fullpower station in Philadelphia, is impacting the community in many ways. Station manager Michal Curry (pictured) related that recently she was in a local grocery store picking up some canned goods for WGTW s outreach to a local food bank. At the checkout she struck up a conversation with the cashier, Ella, who asked Michal about all the items she was purchasing. When Michal informed her that they were for the local food bank, Ella recalled that there was a time in her life when she had to use the food bank to feed her children. Michal explained that she was the manager for the local TBN station, which helps to sponsor the food bank. With excitement Ella responded: Oh my! I love TBN! When I had nothing I mean nothing I would send in $10 a month, every month. TBN kept me from killing myself. Continued a grateful Ella: It makes me happy to see that $10 going towards feeding the hungry. Thank you! Thank you, Ella and all our faithful TBN partners! In May KAAH, TBN s full-power station in Honolulu, Hawaii, partnered with the group Movie to Movement to provide 100 free movie tickets to families of Down syndrome and special needs children to see the new faith-and-family movie Where Hope Grows, which features a young man with Down syndrome in a key role. Station manager Cheryl Witbeck explained that TBN and KAAH hosted an event for the families at the movie s opening night at Honolulu s Regal Dole Cannery Theater. Among those on hand was 2015 s Miss Hawaii Princess United States Aubrey McKenzie (pictured), who has Down syndrome. The entire event was a blessing to the families who received the tickets, as well as to those who sponsored it, said Cheryl. KAAH and TBN were thrilled to be a part. TBN s Nejat Television network continues to reach out to Farsi-speaking individuals throughout Iran and the world. TBN Nejat founder Reza Safa said that millions have come to Christ through the network, and he receives many testimonies of lives changed. One of those came from Zahra, an Iranian woman who was a drug addict, along with suffering from cancer and arthritis. One day while Nejat was playing on her TV set at home, Zahra heard Reza say: A woman with stomach cancer and arthritis is being healed by Jesus. The next day Zahra went to the doctor, who declared her completely healed from cancer and arthritis.
