A Note from Pastor Keith Hello Church family! I am so proud of all that we have accomplished together over the last year and a half. Our Attendance is growing, the giving is up, and I m sure I do not speak for only myself when I say, the Spirit of the Lord is moving in our church. I trust that if we continue to seek God s will for our church things will only get better! God is good, all the time! There is a song that I feel really captures what I feel about what God is doing at Mt. Zion. It goes You have been so good to me! God has been so good to us. Let us continue to strive to live for Him each and every day, and also open our ears to hear God s calling on our lives as individuals, and as a church family. As we approach Holy week, I wanted to remind us of what Holy week represents. Christianitytoday.com describes Holy week as beginning on Palm Sunday and carrying on through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. It is a time for Christians to reflect on Jesus journey to the Cross, beginning with his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and concluding with his lonely trek from the Upper Room through Gethsemane and ultimately to Calvary and the empty tomb. Jesus did all these things for you and for me. We must be mindful at this time of year the sacrifice that was made. The ultimate sacrifice, so that we can be forgiven of our sins. Jesus advocated for us on the cross, and He continues to do so each and every day. Sitting at the right hand of God, Jesus prays on our behalf every day of our lives. Wow! What a savior! I am so glad that I serve a Risen Savior! He is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Blessings, Pastor Keith April 9 April 13 April 14 April 16 1
