Brothers and sisters, grace to you through our risen Savior. Welcome to worship. NEWS OF THE CONGREGATION ADDRESSING OURSELVES TO GOD RINGING OF THE BELL Piano Prelude "Jesus Shall Reign" arr. Labenske * CALL TO WORSHIP Leader: Like the disciples who met the risen Christ, People: we come hoping for unexpected appearances of God s love. Leader: We come with our questions and doubts, and listen for Christ to appear in our midst saying: People: Peace be with you. Leader: Touch me and see who I am says Jesus: We look around at the lives of our neighbors and guests, and seek the power of the risen Christ at work there, offering peace, offering hope, offering courage, offering transformation. People: We are witnesses to the tangible love of Jesus! Let us worship God this day! * HYMN Worship Christ the Risen King No. 225 1

* INVOCATION (Unison) O God, who chased the gloom of the disciples with the gospel of Easter and drowned their desert of despair in a sea of grace, surprise us this day. Take from us the presumption that leans on our strength instead of yours, that mistakes our wisdom for yours, and equates our will with yours. Assure us once again that our Lord's promise to be with us always still holds good. And be present with us now, as in the days of Jesus, to make us whole and to make us holy. Amen. *GLORIA PATRI No. 623 HEARING AND RESPONDING TO THE WORD CHIME BELL CHOIR "In His Time" MESSAGE FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES June LITTLE NOTES "If You're Happy and You Know It" HYMN O, How He Loves You and Me No. 513 (Please write your joys and concerns on the card and hand it to the usher during the hymn) JOYS AND CONCERNS Preparation for prayer PASTORAL PRAYER, THE LORD S PRAYER ( debts and debtors words in hymn No. 426) MORNING OFFERING Offertory "Breathe On Me, Breath Of God with Breathe" arr.
