Servants of Jesus and Mary s Prayer Army Handbook

SERVANTS OF JESUS AND MARY COAT OF ARMS The Coat of Arms on the front cover represents the Servants of Jesus and Mary s weapons in the war of good against evil. Each element has significant importance in the battle for souls: The top left-hand corner and the right-hand corner graphically show the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Our Lord conveyed to Sister Lucia the following words: Because I want My whole Church to recognize that consecration ( the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for Russia s conversion and subsequent world peace) as a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary so that later on My Church will place devotion to My Mother s Immaculate Heart beside devotion to My Sacred Heart. The Eucharist, inlayed on the Cross depicts a dual meaning. The Body of Christ is sacramentally placed on the cross that was mankind s deliverance from the sin of Adam. Christ s death on the Cross gave us His eternal gift Himself in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in Eucharistic form, dispensing sacramental grace for our souls and strength for the crosses we must take up to follow Christ. The Rosary situated on the bottom left-hand corner is our weapon to obtain Our Lady s Triumph. The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is our shield against the arrows of Satan and the enemies of the Catholic Faith and the Message of Fatima. Whosoever dies clothed in this (scapular) shall not suffer eternal fire. Together Our Lady said to Saint Dominic about the Rosary and Scapular: One day through the Rosary and the Scapular I will save the World.

Prayer Army Introduction The army of the Servants of Jesus and Mary (SJM) is made up of Catholic men and women who have been confirmed in the Catholic Faith and desire to support the traveling Virgin Pilgrim statue in prayer, to spread the words of Our Lady of Fatima, and to believe in and follow the Catholic faith personally and publicly Objectives: 1. Enlist and recruit an army of volunteer spiritual soldiers to pray for Our Lady s many requests. 2. To assist in managing the Pilgrim Virgin Statue s travels and support of Our Lady s visits to different locations in the United States and possibly abroad. 3. Lend support of activities SJM might have in their geographical area. 4. To aid other organizations and individuals with similar purposes. Code of Conduct: 1. Enrolled and wearing of the Brown Scapular. 2. Confession monthly (more often if felt needed). 3. Daily Mass and communion, as Our Lord permits. 4. Devotion to the Holy Ghost -prayer for His guidance in all areas of our lives and for acquiring of the virtues and the use of His gifts. 5. Instruction and daily guidance of our children regarding our Faith and prayers. 6. Use Holy Water in your home for blessing. 7. Act with charity in speech when dealing with others. 8. Dress modestly at-all-times. Sacramentals: (pictures and statues should be in a place of honor in the home) 1. The home consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 2. Home should have a picture or statue of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 3. A Crucifix in the home. 4. There should be Blessed Candles in the home. Daily Prayers: 1. Pray at least one Mystery of the Rosary daily. 2. Pray morning and night prayers daily. 3. Grace before all meals. 4. Pray for the aborted, and the stopping of this evil practice. 5. Pray for holders of the Green Scapular.

Devotion Complete Our Lady s request of satisfying the Saturday Communion of Reparation to Her Immaculate Heart. Her promise: I promise to assist at the moment of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep Me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to Me. Prayers (Some daily prayers, others optional) Our Father Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary Prayer Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit in the womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, prayer for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. The Angelus Said: The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. Response: And She conceived of the Holy Ghost. All say the Hail Mary prayer Said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord Response: Be it done unto me according to thy word. All say the Hail Mary prayer Said: And the Word was made flesh Response: And dwelt among us.

All say the Hail Mary prayer Said:, O holy Mother of God. Response: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Said: Let us pray. Response: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may we by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection, through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen. Hail Holy Queen Prayer Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy! Our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, morning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Fatima Aspiration prayer O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need. Litany of Our Lady Pray: Lord, have mercy on us Lord, have mercy on us, Christ, hear us. Pray: Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world Response: Have mercy on us Pray: O Holy Mother of God Response: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ Pray: Let us pray Response: Grant us, thy servants, we beseech Thee, O Lord God, to enjoy continual health of soul and body; and by the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary, ever a virgin, to be delivered from present sorrow, and to attain everlasting joy. Through Christ or Lord. Amen. Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (St. Louis de Montfort s Consecration) I, (your name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works, and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before. In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen. Memorare Prayer Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen

The Act of Contrition O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love, I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen. Prayer in Time of Temptation In obedience to the Immaculate Conception, I command you every unclean spirit to depart; cease your attacks on us, our family, our business, our surroundings, all those for whom we pray and all those with whom we are united in prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you into the deep pit. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. The Rosary The Rosary is started with the sign of the cross, the Apostle s Creed is recited, followed by an Our Father prayer. Three Hail Mary prayers are recited for Faith, Hope, and Charity.
