The Meaning of the Eighth Day Feast Part 6 The Menorah sightedmoon.co m /the-meaning-of-the-eighth-day-pt6-eighth-day-the-menorah/ By Joseph F. Dumond December 11, 2014 News Letter 5850-038 19th day of the 9th month 5850 years after the creation of Adam The 9th Month in the Fifth year of the Third Sabbatical Cycle The Third Sabbatical Cycle of the 119th Jubilee Cycle The Sabbatical Cycle of Earthquakes, Famines and Pestilence December 13, 2014, Shabbat Shalom Family, 1/10

On Tuesday December 16 will begin the Festival of Lights, also called Chanukah and it is an abomination to Yehovah. It will go for 8 days and will end on December 24. Strange how that works out. One abomination ends just as another begins. Both running for 8 & 7 days each. We have shown you in previous articles how Yehshua never did keep this Chanukah. And yet many of you will dismiss those biblical facts in order for you to carry on with your pagan traditions of lighting up at this time of the year, the same as many do who keep the Festival of Lights called Christmas and as others do keeping the Festival of Lights called Dilwali. You may want to read our article Yeah but Jesus Kept Chanukah John 10:22 We have been speaking to you about the Eighth Day Feast and showing you all the deeper meanings of it. We have been doing this in an effort to show you what this day represents and the hugeness of it. And yet this pagan festival of lights seeks to hi-jack this most important Holy Day and all of you along with it. We told you how Satan comes along right after the Eighth Day, which is about the Resurrection of all mankind at this time, and starts you off worshiping the dead on all saints day or Halloween. This is then coupled with the lighting of candles for the dead, which is a tradition that began with the death of Nimrod. On his birthday they would light up yule logs to welcome or encourage the sun to come back during these the darkest days of the year. And guess what, it worked because the days begin to get longer after they do this special lighting of candles or yule logs or eight or nine stemmed menorahs or the lighting up of a Christmas tree or bonfire. All of this in the memory of the dead, namely Nimrod. I absolutely refuse to have anything to do with it. Chanakiah christmas-tree2 yule_log_ps candlelight vigil nimrod 2/10

Deu 4:1 And now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the judgments which I teach you, in order to do them, so that you may live and go in and possess the land which Jehovah, the God of your fathers gives you. 2 You shall not add to the Word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, so that you may keep the commands of Jehovah your God which I command you. Pro 30:5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. 6 Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you and you be found a liar. Rev 22:18 For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob nor King David, ever kept Chanukah. None of the Prophets kept Chanukah. No one in the Torah, or the Psalms, or the Prophets kept Chanukah. Yehshua never and the apostles never kept Chanukah. But you know better than all of them and so you in your higher understanding will follow the pagan tradition of lighting lights to welcome Nimrod back from the grave. You re no better than those pagans then. The Menorah and its Meaning It has worked out splendidly that we are now talking about the Menorah at this time when the world is attempting to steal this sacred symbol and use it for a pagan practice. Yes even Jews and Messianics and some of you who do not realize it, you re still a pagan when you do this. Chanakiah I want you to compare the one with the other. menorah Which one is an abomination? Exo 25:31 And you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of beaten work; its shaft, and its branches, its cups, its knobs, and its blossoms, shall be from it. 32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it three branches of the lampstand out of the one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. 33 Three almond-like cups on the one branch, with knob and blossom; and three almond-like cups on the one branch, with knob and blossom, so for the six branches, those going out of the lampstand. 34 And in the lampstand shall 3/10

be four almond-like cups, with their knobs and their blossoms; 35 and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, and a knob under two branches of it, according to the six branches, those going out of the lampstand. 36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold. 37 And you shall make the seven lamps of it. And one shall light the lamps of it, so that they may give light on its face. 38 And the tongs of it, and its pans shall be of pure gold. 39 One shall make it of a talent of pure gold, with all these vessels. 40 And see that you make them after their pattern, which was shown you in the mountain. After reading what Yehovah commanded to Moses about the construction of the Menorah, which one is an abomination to Yehovah? It is the one with nine branches and it is the one with the candles. It is not according to the pattern shown to Moses on the Mountain. And yet many of you want to be a part of that. Shame on you. The reason we are looking at the Menorah this week is because of those thing Yehshua said just before that Eighth Day Feast took place. Joh 7:37 And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. At the end of the 7th day of the Feast of Sukkot we read in John that; Joh 7:53 And they each went to his own house. So it was now night time. It was now the beginning of the Eighth Day Feast, also called the Feast of Dedication. Then we read in John 8 the following. Joh 8:1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him. And He sat down and taught them. 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman taken in adultery. And standing her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, Teacher, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such should be stoned. You, then, what do you say? 6 They said this, tempting Him so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger, not appearing to hear. 7 But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her. 8 And again bending down, He wrote on the ground. 9 And hearing, and being convicted by conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, until the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 And bending back up, and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, Woman, where are the ones who accused you? Did not one give judgment against you? 11 And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I give judgment. Go, and sin no more. 12 Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. We have left in this part about the adulterous woman, because that woman represents Israel. She represent you. You who used to chase and maybe still do chase foreign gods. Gods such as those at the festival of lights or those playing Chanukah. Going after abominations Yehovah 4/10

never sanctified. And Satan is the one accusing her. We are all guilty. The ceremony of Tabernacles was prominent in the Bible because it was a joyous time following the mourning and repenting of Atonement (Yom Kippur). The Rabbis of old referred to it as the holiday. It was one of the three holidays that all Jewish males were required to go to Jerusalem and appear before the Temple of God. During Tabernacles the people brought their tithes and offerings to the Temple because you were not to appear empty-handed. (Deuteronomy 16:16) The Temple sacrifice for Tabernacles during the seven-day period was huge. On the first day 13 bulls were to be offered, fourteen lambs, two rams, and one goat, along with meal and drink offerings. On the second day the number of bulls would be twelve and decrease by one each day of the feast, with the other sacrifices being the same each day. All twenty-four divisions of the priests shared in the sacrifices during this period. On this feast the Shekinah glory filled the Solomon s newly built Temple at its dedication in I Kings 8, 2 Chronicles 7:1-10. This is the where we get the name of this Eighth Day. The Feast of Dedication and as we explained in a previous teaching Yehovah wants to dwell with us and He did on that day when Solomon dedicated the Temple. Pouring out water from the pool of Siloam each morning of the feast demonstrated the intense need for water in the coming months. This was the water libation ceremony (sacrificial pouring out of a liquid) the high priest would officiate during each morning of the feast. The high priest would take a golden pitcher and exit the water-gate, making his way to the Pool of Siloam to fill up the pitcher. He would be accompanied by a procession of music and worshipers. He would return, via the Water-gate, to the Court of Priest where the Altar was located. As he entered three blasts of the silver trumpets sounded from the Temple. The priest would then say, Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (Isa. 12:3) The priest would then ascend the altar and pour out the water-libation; while he did this another priest would pour out the wine-libation as specified in the Law. The choir of Levites sang the Hallel. (Psalms 113-118) The water libation ceremony took place for the first time in 1944 years this year at Sukkot. If you have not heard of this great event then you can watch this take place o. You will see my friend Yehuda Glick a number of times in this historic event. Look to see who else you can see. Water Libation 2014 Water Libation Ceremony 2014 Water Libation Cermony 2 5/10

At the right point the people would respond waving their palm branches toward the altar singing: Save now, I pray O Lord: O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity. (Psalm 118:25) At this time the priests with their palm branches in hand, marched once around the altar. When Jesus arrived in Jerusalem prior to Passover, the people greeted Him with Palm branches on his triumphant entry. The people viewed Him as the Messiah, coming to save them in fulfillment of Psalm 118. The palm branches were from the imagery of the Feast of Tabernacles. We see a similar scene in Heaven in Revelation 7:9-10. Rev 7:9After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb. Look again at what is going on here. It is the last Great Day of Sukkot, the 7th day of the Feast, and Yehshua cries out; let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. I looked for this scripture Yehshua is quoting but could only find these comments written by John Gills Exposition. out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water, though rather they belong to what follows; and do not design any particular place of Scripture; for no such one is to be found, where the following passage is expressed in so many words; but all those Scriptures which speak of grace, under the metaphors of water, and abundance of water, as rivers and floods of water, and of the effusion of the Holy Spirit, under such figurative expressions, such as (Isaiah 41:17 Isaiah 41:18 ) ( 43:20 ) ( 44:3 ) ( 58:11 ) ( Joel 2:28 ). Hence the Syriac version reads in the plural number, as the Scriptures hath said ; referring to more than one: out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water ; the grace of the Spirit of God is signified by water, because it is of a cleansing and purifying nature, as faith and hope are, having to do with the blood of Christ, which cleanses from all sin; and because it fructifies and causes the saints, as trees of righteousness, to grow, and bring forth fruit; Go back to the Isaiah scripture quoted above and read it again. Isa 12:3 And with joy you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation. That word Salvation is; 6/10

H3444??????? y shuah yesh-oo -aw Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare. H3467???? ya sha yaw-shah A primitive root; properly to be open, wide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory. Yehshua said to come to Him to draw waters of salvation, to draw waters of Yehshua. This is so amazing but Isaiah is not yet done because in the previous verse he tells you or Yehovah tells you something else. Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation. Yehovah is Salvation and Yehovah is Yehshua. Yehovah has become Salvation Yehovah has become Yehshua Yehovah became Yehshua and it was Yehovah who we killed on the tree that Passover day. THE TEMPLE LIGHTING CEREMONY On the evening of the second day of the feast was the Temple Lighting Ceremony. This was a celebration known as Simchat Bet Hasho ayva ( The rejoicing of the House of Water Drawing ). The people would crowd into the Court of Women; a barrier separating men from women being raised. In the center of the Court of Women stood four huge menorahs to light the courtyard. The wicks for these menorahs were old priest garments. Members of the Sanhedrin performed torch dances while people watched and walked with their oil lamps. Later in the evening the Levitical choir would assemble in the Court of Israelites and proceed through the Nicanor Gate. At the top of the stairs they would begin to sing the Psalms 120 to 7/10

134, one Psalm for each of the 15 stairs. The sound of music would then proceed from the trumpets, string instruments, harps and flutes as the Levites sang. sukkot-illumination-of-the-temple This celebration was repeated each night for the next six nights. This was done as a prelude to the Water Libation ceremony in the morning. The Talmud comments on the joy of this event by saying; He that hath not beheld the joy of the drawing of the water [the Simchat Bet Hasho ayva celebration] hath never seen joy in his life. (Sukkah 5:1) The lighting of the Temple reminded people of the day the Glory of the Lord entered the Temple and filled it with His glory. This is the great meaning of the Eighth Day Feast. The fulfillment of this event will come to pass in the 8th Millennium. Read what Ezekiel has to day about this awesome event which this Eighth Day and its symbols leading up to it all represent. Eze 43:1And he led me to the gate, the gate that faces eastward. 2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters. And the earth shone with His glory. 3 And it looked the same as the vision which I saw, even according to the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar. And I fell on my face. 4 And the glory of Jehovah came into the house by the way of the gate whose view is eastward. 5 And the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner chamber. And behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house. 6 And I heard Him speaking to me from the house. And standing by me was a Man. 7 And He said to me, Son of man, the house of Israel shall no more defile the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel forever; neither they, nor their kings, by their fornication, nor by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places. In the Gospel of John Chapter 7-10 Yehshua is in Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles. He taught in the Temple on the last day of the feast, The Eighth Day. In the context of the lighting ceremony Yehsua is proclaiming His identity to Jerusalem. At dawn He comes to the Temple courts (lighting ceremony). It is at this point the Pharisees try to trap him. After he asks the one without sin to cast the first stone they leave him. Jesus then declares Himself the light of the world while in the Temple courts during the lighting celebration. In the Eighth Millennium we must all be without sin in order to have on the white robes of Righteousness in order to take part in the wedding with Yehovah. Can you see what this day is telling you? Once we are wed to Him we will be full of His spirit and we will see Him as He is because then we too will be spirit beings. 8/10

John 8:1-12 1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say? 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? 11 No one, sir, she said. Then neither do I condemn you, Jesus declared. Go now and leave your life of sin. 12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Later to validate his claim He heals a man born blind from birth (John 9). This blind man puts his faith in Yehshua after the Pharisees expel him because he testified about Yehshua and his healing. This man was healed on the Sabbath of the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Who does the blond man represent at this time? It is the Eighth Millennium and that is when all mankind represented by the blind man will be able to see the truth. Satan is going to be set free for a little while at the end of the 7th Millennium. Then after that all mankind will be able to see clearly. THE HOSHANA-RABBAH CEREMONY The last day of the feast was the greatest day of the feast. On this day, the priest would blast their trumpets 21 times when the water was poured; three sets of seven blasts. On this day the priests would also make seven circles around the great altar. As they circled the altar they said Psalm 118:25 and the people raised palm branches. This is why it was known as Hoshana Rabbah or Great Hoshanna On this day Jesus was in the crowd. Jesus proclaimed, with a loud voice, that He is the source of the Living Water that everybody is searching for. 9/10

John 7:37-41 37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. 40 On hearing his words, some of the people said, Surely this man is the Prophet. 41 Others said, He is the Messiah. The prophet Malachi foretold this day, when he said The Lord you are seeking will come to his temple. Yehshua is coming to the Feast and declaring for Israel He is the one they seek. He heals the blind man to validate his claim, and the blind man is expelled. Malachi 3:1-5 1 I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come, says the LORD Almighty. 2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner s fire or a launderer s soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, 4 and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the LORD, as in days gone by, as in former years. 5 So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me, says the LORD Almighty. We have much more to say about the Menorah but we have run out of time for this week. 10/10
