www.shalom-peace.com WRITINGS BY MRS. ARI D. HIDALGO, TH. B. HOW GOOD, HOW PLEASANT WHEN YOU DIE, DO YOU GO TO HEAVEN? WHAT IS JEWISH EVANGELISM WHAT WE BELIEVE THE SCROLL OF ESTHER THOUGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN WATCHMEN UPON THE WALLS JEWISH EVANGELISM TRADITIONS OR TRUTH THE LAW: IT'S BEAUTY AND BENEFITS WHO CRUCIFIED JESUS? INTRODUCTION: In the book of Psalms (Sefer Tehillim) chapter 119:105a, we read that God s Word is our guiding light Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. It is the inspiration of God that is embellished with good and Godly instructions for all people. The book of Romans 7:12 says it is holy, and just, and good. The Lord God has challenged us in Scripture to SEARCH His Word, because, it is His wisdom, understanding, and knowledge that He has so graciously given to us for the betterment of our lives. Also, we are to STUDY His Word that we may show ourselves approved unto Him, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. In other words, we as His children need to always be ready to give an answer to any one who has questions and is seeking Truth. As the apostle Saul Paul tells us in II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. page 36 page 1

We will never be ashamed as we present The Holy and complete Truth knowing that The Lord our God will always honor His Word as we read in Isaiah 55:11 which says, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Let us remember, as we PRESENT The Word Of God to the world, that is in darkness, may we do it according to Romans 1:16 to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. And, as we do so, let us be reminded to pray that the Almighty God will use HIS WORD to quicken many hearts to understand Truth and accept it, especially concerning GOD S SALVATION that He has provided through His Beloved Son, Y SHUA HA MASSCHIACH ADONAI (OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST). Jesus is Your Messiah? THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ANOINTED ONE: GIVEN PROPHECIES - FULFILLED PROPHECIES Micah 5:2 Isaiah 7:14 Zechariah 9:9 Isaiah 53:1-3 Psalm 22:14-18 Psalm 69:21 Zechariah 12:10 Zechariah 13:6 Isaiah 53:5-12 Psalm 16:10 Born in Bethlehem Matthew 2:1-6 Born of Virgin Luke 1:27 Triumphal entry into Jerusalem John 12:12-16 Rejected by His own people Matthew 27:1-31 To be Crucified John 19:15-18 Given vinegar John 19:29 Messiah pierced John 19:34 Wounds in His hands John 20:25-28 Died as a sacrifice for sin John 11:49-52 Raised from the dead John 20:1-31 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS IN JEWISH EVANGELISM 1. We don't believe in the same God. Jews believe in only one God. Christians worship three Gods. (1.) We worship the same God. Christianity is an extension or fulfillment of Biblical Judaism. The first Christians were all Jewish! (Acts 2:1-11). Specifically in verse 5 we read And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. (2.) Christians worship only one God. I Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: The book of Mark 12:29-31 says, Verse 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Verse 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy page 34 page 3

God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Verse 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (cf. Galatians 3:20). (3.) The composite unity of God is evident in the Old Covenant. In the book of Genesis 1:26 we read And God said, Let us (God the Father, God the Son) make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that crept upon the earth. (cf. Genesis 11:6-7). like the wind, have taken us away, Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (cf. Romans 3:21-31). (2.) God has one way of Salvation. In Joel 2:32 we read And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (cf. Romans 10:12-13). (3.) There is only one way to Heaven. In the book of John 14:6 directs us in the right way In the book of Isaiah 48:16 tells us Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me (God the Son). 2. God has no Son. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Today is the day of Salvation! Tomorrow may be too late. Will you now accept the Truth that page 4 page 33

Verse 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. Verse 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (3.) Trust in The Lord God of Israel rather than men. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, Verse 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (1.) God says He has a Son. Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee: In the book of Proverbs 30:4 we read Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Verse 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (cf. Acts 4:18-20). In Acts 5:29 we read Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. 23. Everyone gets to Heaven his own way. (1.) God has one standard of holiness. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, 3. No one can be both God and man. (1.) The TaNach (Old Covenant) speaks of a God-Man. In Psalms 45:6-7 we read, Verse 6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Verse 7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. page 32 page 5

In the book of Hebrews 1:8-9 we read, Verse 8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Verse 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (cf. Psalms 110:1; Isaiah 9:6). 4. The Virgin birth is impossible. (1.) God can do all things. Matthew 19:26 tells us But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (2.) Isaac's birth was a miracle. Genesis 18:14 says Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. (3.) The Virgin birth was prophesied as a special sign to Israel. In the book of Isaiah 7:14 Verse 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. Verse 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. Verse 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. 22. Why so many denominations of Christians? They can't all be right. (1.) Men are always introducing their ideas into their religions, which include changing God's Word. In the book of Revelation 22:19 we read And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (2.) It is God's Word that counts. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, page 6 page 31

and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. (cf. Leviticus 26:32, 33, 44; Deuteronomy 18:15-19 [rejection of Messiah]; Deuteronomy 28:15, 63-66). 21. Jews are blamed for the death of Jesus. (1.) Jews did not crucify Jesus. Crucifixion was against Jewish Law. John 18:31 tells us Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: (2.) The Romans crucified Jesus. Matthew 27:27-31 says in verse 31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. All peoples, Jew and Gentile, are responsible for the death of Christ. (cf. Acts 4:25-28). (3.) Jesus knew beforehand what would happen. He willingly gave Himself. In the book of John 10:11,17,18 we read, we read Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (means God with us). While the word here in Hebrew for 'VIRGIN' is (ALMAH) it can be translated as 'young woman' meaning, that she has not known a man, therefore, The Spirit of God has dictated this word to mean VIRGIN'. (4.) The Seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15 reminds us that while we know that every child born from a woman is the result of the seed of man, and yet in the case of, The Son Of God (who is The Lord Jesus Christ), He is born from the seed of the woman. In the book of Galatians 4:4-5 we read, Verse 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Verse 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Indeed, this was a miracle of miracles! 5. Jesus was of illegitimate birth. page 30 page 7

(1.) He could not have entered the Temple if He was illegitimate. In the book of Deuteronomy 23:2 says A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord. We read in John 7:14 that Jesus entered the Temple Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. (cf. John 10:23). (2.) We have an accurate genealogy of Jesus' lineage in Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (cf. Luke 3). 6. Jesus is not the Messiah. (1.) This question is one of the most misunderstood in all of world Judaism, because of the erroneous teachings down through the ages. From the beginning the Messiah is presented in the Holy Scriptures with the following passages in Isaiah 53:1-12, the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers: Verse 7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. In John 10:30 we read I and my Father Are one. 20. Why do Jews suffer? Are we Jews chosen to suffer? (1.) Jews suffer because of disobedience. Leviticus 26:14-16 tells us Verse 14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; Verse 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: Verse 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, page 8 page 29

in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (2.) Saul Paul, a believing Jew, remained a Jew. Acts 22:3 says I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. Philippians 3:5 says Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 19. I was born a Jew, I'll die a Jew. (1.) Nothing can make you cease from being Jewish. In Romans 11:1 we read I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (2.) You are not changing your religion, you are completing it! Acts 26:6-7 says Verse 6 And now I stand and am judged for Verse 1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? Verse 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Verse 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Verse 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Verse 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Verse 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. page 28 page 9

Verse 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Verse 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. Verse 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Verse 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Verse 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he Verse 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. (6.) The Church was started with Jews. Acts 2:5 says And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. (cf. Acts 2:41-43). (7.) Salvation comes from the Jews. John 4:22 we read Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 18. If I become a Christian, I will no longer be a Jew. (1.) A Jewish believer is a "completed" Jew. In Romans 2:25 and 29 we read Verse 25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Verse 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, page 10 page 27

Matthew 10:2-4 we read, Verse 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Verse 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Verse 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. Acts 3:1 we read Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. The Disciples of Jesus (Y shua) would not have been allowed in the Temple if they were not Jews. (5.) The New Covenant was written by Jews. Romans 3:1-2 says Verse 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? shall bear their iniquities. Verse 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. 7. We do not believe that the Messiah will come in bodily form. (1.) He will come as we read in Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 8. Messiah will only come once. (1.) Messiah must come twice. page 26 page 11

a. To die. Psalms 22:1-21. Verse 1 says My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? b. To rule. Isaiah 9:6-7 we read, Verse 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Verse 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (cf. Isaiah 11:1-5). (2.) Messiah's Scriptural role is: a. As a Sufferer. (read Psalm 22). b. As a Shepherd. (read Psalm 23). God s only Begotten Son, The Lord Jesus Christ (Y shua-jesus) is far better, for He is The Eternal Atonement for all people. (cf. John 3:16). His blood made the atonement for our soul as He was crucified on the tree. (cf. Galatians 4:4-6). 17. Christianity is a Gentile religion. (1.) False! Christianity is based upon Biblical Judaism. Matthew 1:1 we read The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (cf. Romans 1:1-7; 3:21-31). (2.) Mary was a Jewish woman. Luke 1:26-38. Verse 27 says To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. (3.) Jesus was a Jew. In the book of Romans 1:3 we read Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; (Matthew 1:1; John 4:9). (4.) The Disciples were Jews. In the book of page 12 page 25

LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Verse 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: Verse 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Verse 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (3.) No New Covenant would imply that the God of Israel permitted the destruction of the Temple without giving something better. c. As a Sovereign. (read Psalm 24). 9. Our Messiah is yet to come. (1.) Daniel's prediction. Daniel 9:24-26 says, Verse 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Verse 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Verse 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come page 24 page 13

shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. a. Purpose of His coming. (See v. 24). b. Time of His coming. (See v. 25, 26). c. His Death. (See v. 26). d. Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D. (See v. 26). 10. How can you prove Jesus rose from the dead? (1.) Death would have no power over Messiah. Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (cf. Psalm 49:15). (2.) The facts of history. In the book of Acts 2:22-27. We read in verse 22... Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him Verse 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Verse 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 16. We Jews do not accept the New Covenant. (1.) Moses spoke of the New Covenant by promising a greater prophet. Deuteronomy 18:15-18. Verse 18 says I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. (cf. Acts 3:22-23). (2.) Jeremiah predicted a New Covenant. We read in the book of Jeremiah 31:31-34, Verse 31 Behold, the days come, saith the page 14 page 23

Verse 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Verse 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Verse 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Verse 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Verse 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. Verse 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. Verse 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know; Also in Acts 4:33 we read And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 11. Our leaders do not believe in Jesus. (1.) Unbelief foretold. In the book of Isaiah 53 we read in verse 1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? (2.) Messiah to be despised and rejected. Isaiah 8:13-15. We read in verse 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. (3.) Leaders to mislead Israel. Isaiah 43:27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. Look at the book of Ezekiel 34:1-10, Verse 1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying. page 22 page 15

Verse 2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Verse 3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. Verse 4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. Verse 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. Verse 6 My sheep wandered through all the (4.) Saul Paul taught love for all. Galatians 6:10 we read As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. I Corinthians 13:1-13 tells us, Verse 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Verse 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Verse 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Verse 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. page 16 page 21

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. 15. Christians hate the Jews. (1.) Not all Gentiles are Christians. True believers in the God of Israel will love God s chosen people, Israel. Matthew 7:21-23. We read in verse 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them. Verse 7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Verse 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; (2.) Genuine Christians will bless the Jews. Genesis 12:1-3. Verse 3 tells us And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (3.) Jesus taught love for all. In Matthew 5:44 we read But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Verse 9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Verse 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. page 20 page 17

12. Believing in Jesus violates the Law. (1.) Matthew 5:17-19. In verse 17 we read Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. In Romans 10:4 we read For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (cf. Romans 3:31). (2.) He is the Prophet like unto Moses. Deuteronomy 18:15-18. In verse 15 we read The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken: 13. Why do we need to believe in Jesus? We have good morals. (2.) Only blood atones for sin. We read in the book of Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (3.) Jesus made our atonement. The book of Hebrews 9:11-12 says, Verse 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Verse 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (1.) All are sinners before God. Psalm 14:1 tells us The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. (cf. Psalm 51:5; Isaiah 53:6; 59:2; and Jeremiah 17:9). 14. Why bother with us Jews? Leave us alone. (1.) God commands us to take the message of Salvation to everyone which includes the Jews. We believe that Y'shua (Jesus) our LORD is The Only Begotten Son of God. We believe that Y'shua (Jesus) our LORD was born of a Jewish Virgin, and grew up in Nazareth, Israel. We believe that at the approximate age of 33, Y'shua (Jesus) our LORD paid the penalty for the sin of the world by dying on a Tree, according to The Scriptures, and on the third day after His death, He arose from the grave. Forty days afterwards, He ascended to the right hand of right hand of The Almighty God. We believe that Y'shua (Jesus) our LORD is coming again to rule and reign from Jerusalem, Israel as The Promised Messiah. We believe that every Jewish and Gentile individual today has the opportunity to be forgiven of all their sins by the shed Blood of Y'shua, by receiving and believing on Him.
