Departure Date: 29 th Nov 2018 Itinerary: Day 01/29 NOV (THU): Assemble Borneo/KLIA & Depart KUL / Arrive Cairo 4.25 PM: Assemble at KLIA. Check in at airport for flight to Cairo via Abu Dhabi. Day 02/30 NOV (FRI): Arrive Cairo 5.20 AM Arrive Cairo Proceed for full day tour to Coptic Cairo, Virgin Mary and Abu Serge. (L/D) Abu Sarge is the oldest church in Egypt dating back to the 5th century A.D. The church owes its fame to having been constructed upon the crypt of the Holy Family where they stayed for three weeks during their sojourn in Egypt. Visit the Virgin Mary, the Hanging church - The most famous Coptic Church and monastery in Cairo. The hanging church was named so as it was built by the Nile river over the Roman Gate of Babylon. During a walking tour, our guide will point out that this section of the old city was the route taken by Abraham, Joseph, Moses and the family of Jesus an inspiring thought. Check into Hotel and ovenight in Cairo.

Day 03/01 DEC (SAT): Cairo After breakfast proceed for full day tour visiting the following: Visit the great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the Lord of the Sphinx creature carved from natural bedrock with the head of a man and body of Lion. Visit Papyrus institute and the perfume factory Pyramid - The Pyramids were constructed to hide the tombs of the Pharaohs. The first pyramids were step pyramids to help the pharaoh climb the steps and join the sun god Ra in the sky. After that (about 4,500 years ago) came the biggest pyramids of all, the pyramids of kings Khufu and Khafre. Until about a hundred years ago these pyramids were the tallest structures in the world! No earthquake could destroy them. They were each built of more than 2 million blocks of stone, which each weighed about as much as a small elephant. The limestone coverings were stripped by later peoples for building use. In the pyramids were a lot of false doors to trick grave robbers but they didn't work! Sphinx - The Sphinx was carved over 4,500 years ago. It was for the Pharaoh Khafre. It had his head, the body of a lion. The Sphinx was carved out of a huge big stone. It is guarding Khafre's pyramid. The Sphinx was covered by sand which preserved it all these years. Its body is extremely soft rock and its head is very strong rock but some people used the head for gunshot practice. No one knows for sure what it was decorated with in the days of the Ancient Egyptians but it must have been very beautiful then. After lunch, proceed Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Khan El-Khalili bazaar - has a reputation of being the largest Bazaar in the Middle East. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists.

Nile cruise dinner with oriental show. River Nile - The world's longest river, located in Egypt, the Nile flows 4,132 miles (6,650 kilometres) northward to the Mediterranean Sea (a very unusual direction for a river to take). It was considered the source of life by the ancient Egyptians and has played a vital role in the country's history Overnight in Cairo. Day 04/02 DEC (SUN): Cairo St Catherine Breakfast at hotel Check out and proceed journey to the Sinai desert, visiting Red Sea, Moses well and drive to St Cathrine Monastry in Sinai.: Red Sea - According to the Exodus account, Moses held out his staff and the Red Sea was parted by God. The Israelites walked on dry ground and crossed the sea, followed by the Egyptian army. Moses again moved his staff once the Israelites had crossed and the sea closed again, drowning the whole Egyptian army. On arrival, check in to hotel. After dinner take rest, sleep. Day 05/03 DEC (MON): MT SINAI ISRAEL Midnight, start climbing the top of the Mt Sinai where Moses received Ten Commandments. Mt Sinai - also known as Mount Horeb or Jebel Musa, is a mountain in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt that is a possible location of the biblical Mount Sinai. The latter is mentioned many times in the Book of Exodus and other books of the Bible, and the Quran. According to Jewish, Christian, and Islamic tradition, the biblical Mount Sinai was the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. St Cathrine Monastry -According to tradition, Catherine of Alexandria was a Christian martyr sentenced to death on the wheel. When this failed to kill her, she was beheaded. According to tradition, angels took her remains to Mount Sinai. Around the year 800, monks from the Sinai Monastery found her remains. Although it is commonly known as Saint Catherine's, the monastery's full official name is the Sacred Monastery of the God- Trodden Mount Sinai. The patronal feast of the monastery is the Transfiguration. The monastery has become a favourite site of pilgrimage.

Back to hotel for breakfast and proceed to check out. Visit the Burning bush and the chapel of Burning Bush. Burning bush -The burning bush is an object described by the Book of Exodus as being located on Mount Horeb. Accord ing to the narrative, the bush was on fire, but was not consumed by the flames, hence the name. In the biblical narrative, the burning bush is the location at which Moses was appointed by Adonai (God) to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into Canaan. Transfer to TABA border terminal from where we cross over to Israel (Journey in the desert) On arrival in Bethlehem, check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. Day 06/04 DEC (TUE): Mt Olives / Gethsemane/ Temple Area B/L/D) After breakfast, proceed to Jerusalem. We present an overview for a better understanding of its geography and some of the key sites surrounding the area. This includes a dramatic view of the old city from the Mount of Olives, revealing a city with 4000 years of history. From this vantage point see much of what makes Jerusalem such a unique city to the three major religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane at bottom of the slope of the mount olives where it is believed Jesus prayed to Father Hours before his crucifixion. Church of Holy Ascension - It contains what is traditionally the last footprint of Jesus on earth before he ascended into heaven. Pater Noster - The Church of the Pater Noster is a Roman Catholic church located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It is part of a Carmelite monastery', also known as the Sanctuary of the Eleona. Dominus Flevit - Dominus Flevit is a Roman Catholic church on the Mount of Olives, opposite the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem Garden of Gethsemane - Early Christian pilgrims located the Garden of Gethsemane at the bottom of the slope of the Mount of Olives opposite the Temple Mount. Byzantine, Crusader and a modern church were built successively on the site where it is believed that Jesus prayed to the Father hours before his crucifixion. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we pass the Ecce Homo where Pilate proclaimed Behold the man ; then the Wailing Wall, the most holy place for Jews. At the Cenacle we visit the Upper Room of the Last Supper.

The Last Supper Jesus and his disciples, and the coming of the Holy Spirit on the disciples, both believed to have been on the site of the Cenacle. Next we go to Domitian Abbey where we believe the Blessed Mary died. Church of Dormition - The location is identified in Christian tradition as the place where the Virgin Mary died or fell asleep, as the name suggests. If the upper floor of the Church of the Dormition is luminous, the circular crypt seems totally shrouded when first entered. In the center, under a rotunda, is a simple bier on which rests a life-size statue of Mary, fallen asleep in death. The statue is made of cherry wood and ivory. Church of St Peter Gallicantu On its roof rises a golden rooster atop a black cross recalling Christ s prophesy that Peter would deny him three times before the cock crows. Gallicantu means cockcrow in Latin. The lower levels of the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu contain what are believed to have been a guardroom and a prisoner s cell, both hewn out of bedrock. Wailing Wall The wall and the plaza in front of it form a permanent place of worship, a site of pilgrimage for Jews and a focus of prayer often petitions written down and placed between the huge stones. The Jewish name for the wall is the Kotel. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. Day 07/05 DEC (WED): Old City / Kidron valley / Qumran / Dead Sea After breakfast, proceed for tours. Visit St. Anne s church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents Saints Joachim and Anne. We trace the last steps of Jesus. As we walk along the via Dolorosa (way of sorrow), through the markets of the old city praying the stations of cross, we reflect on the greatness of his sacrifice & visit garden Tomb. Finally we arrive at the church of Holy Sepulchre. Via Dolorosa - 14 Stations of the Cross as they identify with the suffering of Jesus on his way to crucifixion. Their route is called the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). This is also the name of the principal street they follow, a narrow market place a bustle with traders and shoppers. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the old city of Jerusalem covers what Christian believe is the site of the most important event in human history ; The place where Jesus Christ Rose from the dead. Free time for shopping at the OLD CITY. Lunch at local restaurant. Driver to Bethany, Jericho - (Mt of Temptation & Zacchaeus Tree), Dead Sea and Qumran.

Mt Temptation The mount of temptation, with gravity defying monastery clinging to its sheer face, is traditionally regarded as the mountain on which Christ was tempted by the devil during his 40 day fast. Drive south to the Dead Sea and Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Visit the remains of the Community centre of the essences and the caves of the scrolls. Driving along the shores of the Dead Sea we stop for a swim (float) in the water. Dead Sea - which shimmers like a blue mirror under all -day sunshine, is one of the most unusual bodies of water in the world. It is set in the lowest dry land on earth, so it has no outlet. It is so loaded with minerals that no fish can live in it. It is so dense that bathers can lie back on its surface and read a newspaper. Qumran - It is famous as the hiding place of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a literary treasure trove hidden since shortly after the time of Christ. Dinner and overnight Bethlehem Day 08/06 DEC (THU) : Bethlehem Caesarea - Haifa Tiberias Breakfast and check out hotel. After breakfast we drive to the Shepherd s fields where the angels announced the birth of Jesus and visit The Church of Nativity. Shepherd s Field Caves where shepherd field where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Then we visit the church of the Nativity in Bethlehem The Church of Nativity - Entering the church that marks the site of Christ s birthplace means having to stoop low. The only doorway in the fortress-like front wall is just 1.2 meters high. Then proceed to drive through the Jezreel valley to Haifa, to visit Stella Maris, a Carmelita Monastery with the Madonna of Carmel. Mt Carmel Mt Carmel was most significant in ancient times as a barrier to traffic along the coastal plain. The 1500 foot high limestone mountain impede armies and merchants traveling to the Jezreel Valley. Stella Maris church perched at the western edge of Mount Carmel, high above the Mediterranean and the coastal city of Haifa, is Stella Maris Monastery and church. The name of the 19 th century monastery- Latin for Star of the Sea refers not to the magnificent view, but rather to an early title accorded Mary, the mother of Jesus. After lunch drive up through the Jordan Valley to Mount Tabor, scene of the Transfiguration. Later proceed to drive to Cana, the village of Jesus' first miracle of changing water into wine; here couples may renew their wedding vows.

Church of Transfiguration Located at the peak of Mt Tabor. It is the place of the Transfiguration of Christ since the 4 th century AD. Cana it is the site of Jesus first miracle of turning water into wine at a wedding. The lower church has a chapel and small museum with artefacts from the site, including a winepress, a plastered cistern and a vessels of various dates.one old jar is said to be one of the six jars used for the miracle. Transfer to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth. Basilica of Annunciation Completed in 1969, this Catholic basilica stands on the traditional site where the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear the Savior. It is built over Crusader and Byzantine foundations. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Tiberias. Day 09/07 DEC (FRI): Sea of Galilee Breakfast at hotel & proceed for tour. Visit to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given, to Tabgha to see the splendid mosaic about the miracle of the loaves and fishes, and then proceed to Capernaum to see the Synagogue and St Peter s house, the nearby Church of Peter s Primacy where Peter was told Feed my lambs, feed my Sheep. Take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Later proceed Lunch. Mt Of the Beautitudes - Located on a small hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee near Tabgha, the Mount of Beatitudes is the traditional site of Jesus' delivery of the Sermon on the Mount, probably the most famous sermon of all time. Church of Peter Primacy - Jesus met again with the disciples for the "last breakfast." Here herestored Peter to himself after the disciple's three denials by asking him three times if Peter loved Jesus. Catholic tradition associates this event with the naming of Peter as the singular leader of the church. The rock at left is the traditional place where Jesus stood and called out to the disciples Church of the Loaves & Fishes - Jesus and his disciples had gone out in a boat to this remote place for some peace and quiet, but the crowds ran ahead "from all the towns" and met him when he landed. By then it was dinner time and they were not in a village where food could easily be bought, so Jesus fed them all by miraculously multiplying his disciples' five loaves and two fishes. Capernaum - is an ancient fishing village on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. It is home to a celebrated Byzantine-era synagogue as well as the house where Jesus healed a paralytic and St. Peter's mother-in-law. St Peter s House The church of Capernaum was founded on the traditional site of St. Peter's home. Closer to the shore than the synagogue, the house was in a poor area where the dry stone basalt walls would have supported only a light roof and could have no windows.

Sea Of Galilee - From the fishermen of the Sea of Galilee came at least four of The Twelve Apostles -Peter, Andrew, James and John. Jesus stilled the raging storm on the Sea of Galilee that was about to swamp their boat. Jesus, and Peter to a limited extent, walked on the water there. Lunch and taste the Peter s fish. Boat ride across the sea of Galilee and then drive to Yardenit, the Baptismal site of Jesus. Baptismal site - Baptism of Jesus (Matthew, 3: 13-17) took place in Qasr el Yahud, north of the Dead Sea and east of Jericho. For centuries, Qasr el Yahud was the most important baptism site for pilgrims, and monasteries and guest houses were established near it. Al-Maghtas in Jordan shows the earliest religious structures connected with baptism or religious baths on the Eastern part of the Jordan, but reverence shifted to the West bank after the Muslim Conquest. After the Six-Day War Qasr el Yahud fell under Israeli occupation. Due to military activity and excavations, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism established Yardenit in 1981 as an alternative pilgrimage site. [2] Yardenit became the first regulated baptism site on the Israeli side of the river. Qasr el Yahud reopened in 2011. In 2015, the Unesco declared Al Maghtas together with Jabal Mar-Elias (Elijah s Hill) on the East bank a world heritage site. Renewal of Baptismal promises. Dinner & overnight in Tiberias Day 10/08 DEC (SAT): ISRAEL AMMAN PETRA Breakfast and check out. Proceed to Jordan through Sheikh Hussain Bridge. Drive on to Mount Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land. You can see the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Judean hills beyond. Also see the remains of Byzantine church with their mosaic floors. Mount Nebo - Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land. Then the Lord said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it." And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said. He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day on one knows where his grave is. --Deuteronomy 34:1-6 Visit to the Christian village of Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land. Madaba Mosaic Map - The floor mosaic is located in the apse of the church of Saint George at Madaba. It is not oriented northwards, like modern maps, but faces east towards the altar in such a fashion that the position of places on the map coincides with the actual compass

directions. Originally, it measured 21 by 7 m and contained over two million tesserae. Its current dimensions are 16 by 5 m. Lunch at local restaurant and later drive to Petra. Dinner & overnight in Petra. Day 11/09 DEC (SUN): Petra Amman After breakfast, explore the Red Rose city of Petra. You have the choice to walk to the site or to take a horse ride through the dramatic CIQ or Canyon. See the Treasury, carved in the pink stone, and continue past the Roman theatre, the Corinthian Tomb and Palace Tomb to the Roman road. Red Rose of Petra It is one of the World Wonder. Famous for its rock cut architecture and water conduit system. Lunch at local restaurant. Then depart for Amman. Dinner and overnight Amman Day 12/10 DEC (MON): Amman / Abu Dhabi After breakfast, check out from hotel. If time permits, last minute shopping at Amman. Transfer to Amman airport for flight departure to Dubai. Flight departs for KUL.
