Offertory Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee Joyful joyful we adore Thee, God of glory Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee, Opening to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, Drive the dark of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day. All Thy works with joy surround Thee, Earth and heaven reflect Thy rays, Stars and angels sing around Thee, Center of unbroken praise. Field and forest vale and mountain, Flowery meadow flashing sea; Chanting bird and flowing fountain, Call us to rejoice in Thee. Thou art giving and forgiving, Ever blessing ever blest, Wellspring of the joy of living, Ocean depth of happy rest! Thou our Father Christ our Brother, All who live in love are Thine; Teach us how to love each other, Lift us to the joy divine. Mortals join the mighty chorus Which the morning stars began; Father love is reigning o er us, Brother love binds man to man. Ever singing march we onward, Victors in the midst of strife, Joyful music lifts us sunward In the triumph song of life. Text by Henry van Dyke, Music by Ludwig van Beethoven Public Domain 8

Song of Dedication We Beseech Thee Jesus, with Thy Church abide, Be her Savior, Lord, and Guide, While on earth her faith is tried: We beseech Thee. All her fettered pow rs release, Bid our strife and envy cease, Grant the heavenly gift of peace: We beseech Thee. Chorus May she guide the poor and blind, Seek the lost until she find, And the broken hearted bind: We beseech Thee. May she one in doctrine be, One in truth and charity, Winning all to faith in Thee: We beseech Thee. May her lamp of truth be bright, Bid her bear a loft its light. Through the realms of darkest night: We beseech Thee. May her guides Thy people feed, Shepherds of the flock indeed, Ready, where thou call st, to lead: We beseech Thee. May she holy triumphs win, Over throw the hosts of sin, Gather all the nations in: We beseech Thee. Chorus May we guide the poor and blind, Seek the lost until we find, And the broken hearted bind: We beseech Thee. Thomas Benson Pollock The New Ancients CCLI License No. 56194 12

Reflection & Preparation Reflection: John 10:22-42 This Week: Quote One of the remarkable and comforting statements of Jesus is that His sheep hear his voice and that he knows them and they follow him. Jesus sheep will respond to his call and will never be separated from him, for he knows all who are his. Ezekiel 34:23-31 I Will Set Over Them One Shepherd John 10:1-21 I am the door; I am the Good Shepherd Psalm 100:1-5 Know that The LORD, He is God John 3:22-36 He must Increase and I must Decrease Prayer: Lord, we pray for your church; we ask that You would fill it with all peace, truth, and love; that those who are far off and that those who are near would hear the voice of the Great Shepherd and that they would respond to His call. God protect the sheep of Your flock and make us quick to obey Your command and follow where You lead; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. In Preparation for Sunday: Daniel 3:1-30 14 The Pray for Me Campaign: This week we are praying for Love for our youth; the love of God through the Holy Spirit is what transforms us; pray that our youth will know the breadth, length, height, and depth of love from God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son.
