THE VISION OF KINGSGATE CHURCH Pastor David Greco The Kingsgate family has purposed to live out the commandment of Jesus to, first, love God with all our heart, mind, strength and soul and, second, to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. God has called us to love the family of God by hosting His Presence through sound Biblical preaching and Spirit-filled worship; healing the wounds of the soul and influencing our region for the Kingdom of God.
OUR CORE VALUES We are called to Host God s Presence through sound Biblical teaching, preaching and Spirit-filled worship Heal the wounds of the soul through personal ministry Influence our region for the Kingdom of God by evangelistic outreach and by leading genuine, purpose-filled lifestyles that reflect the true heart of a disciple of Jesus Christ. Prepare our hearts by seeking the Lord and praying in simple faith and expectation for a manifestation of revival, both in our midst and in our region. Encourage, empower and prepare the next generation of leaders that will continue the work of this ministry
STATEMENT OF FAITH Inspired and Infallible Word of God One God, Three Persons Virgin Birth, Death and Resurrection and Eternal Lordship Salvation by Grace through Faith Resurrection of the Saved and the Lost Present ministry of the Holy Spirit and Gifts Human life is sacred The Unity of the Body of Christ Marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female Lordship of Jesus over every area of our lives
New Constitution & By-Laws Elder Sheila Greco We are members of one another. Romans 12:5 and Ephesians 4:25 A constitution and by laws is a covenant among members -- whatever their role in the body -- concerning: agreed-upon core beliefs; agreed-upon expectations of one another agreed-upon distribution of responsibility and decision making In addition, it serves as a charter and statement of purpose to those who are not members about who we are and how we may be expected to conduct ourselves among ourselves and towards the broader community. I Timothy 3:7
Kingsgate s New Constitution and By-laws Establishes an order of leadership that allows for shared burdens and lighter loads. Deacons Pastors David & Denise Greco 8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:8-13
