Confirmation Verses (ESV) Genesis 17:1 Genesis 32:10 Genesis 39:9 Leviticus 19:2 Deuteronomy 4:23 Deuteronomy 4:29 Deuteronomy 4:31 Deuteronomy 4:39-40 Deuteronomy 6:5 6 Deuteronomy 7:9 Deuteronomy 10:12 Deuteronomy 10:20 Deuteronomy 11:26 28 Deuteronomy 31:6 I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless. I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that You have shown to Your servant. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy. Take care, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which He made with you. But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul. For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that He swore to them. Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. Therefore you shall keep His statutes and His commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the LORD your God is giving you for all time. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations. What does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall fear the LORD your God. You shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Joshua 1:5 6 Joshua 1:8 Joshua 1:9 Joshua 22:29 Joshua 23:11 Joshua 24:14 Joshua 24:15 Judges 13:12 Judges 16:28 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Far be it from us that we should rebel against the LORD and turn away this day from following the LORD! Be very careful, therefore, to love the LORD your God. Fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Choose this day whom you will serve. What is to be the child s manner of life, and what is his mission? Remember me and please strengthen me. 1 Samuel 7:12 Till now the LORD has helped us. 1 Samuel 12:24 Fear the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things He has done for you. 1 Samuel 16:7 The LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart. 2 Samuel 15:26 Behold, here I am, let Him do to me what seems good to Him. 2 Samuel 22:31 This God His way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:33 God is my strong refuge and has made my way blameless 1 Kings 8:57 58 The LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us or forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Him, to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His rules, which He commanded our fathers. 1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually!

1 Chronicles 28:9 Know the God of your father and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. 1 Chronicles 29:5 Who then will offer willingly, consecrating himself today to the LORD? 2 Chronicles 13:10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken Him. 2 Chronicles 15:2 The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah 13:31 Job 28:28 Psalm 1:1 3 Psalm 1:6 Psalm 18:31 34 Psalm 22:25 Psalm 23:1 Psalm 24:3 5 Psalm 25:2 3 Psalm 25:5 Psalm 25:10 This day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Remember me, O my God, for good. Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. From You comes My praise in the great congregation; My vows I will perform before those who fear Him. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. And who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. "O my God, in You I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for You shall be put to shame. "Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long. "All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalm 27:1 Psalm 31:14 Psalm 34:8 Psalm 37:4 Psalm 37:28 Psalm 37:37 Psalm 40:8 Psalm 43:3 Psalm 46:1 Psalm 50:14 Psalm 51:10 Psalm 55:22 Psalm 62:1 2 Psalm 71:5 Psalm 73:28 Psalm 86:11 Psalm 103:1 4 Psalm 103:17 18 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I trust in You, O LORD; I say, You are my God. "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! "Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. For the LORD loves justice; He will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling! God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. For You, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth. But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works. "Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy. But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children s children, to those who keep His covenant and remember to do His commandments.

Psalm 106:1 Psalm 111:10 Psalm 116:12 Psalm 119:9 Psalm 119:33 Psalm 119:105 Psalm 119:165 Psalm 139:23 24 Psalm 143:10 Proverbs 2:6 7 Proverbs 3:1 Proverbs 3:5 6 Proverbs 3:7 Proverbs 4:13 Proverbs 4:18 19 Proverbs 4:23 Proverbs 4:27 Proverbs 8:17 Proverbs 11:19 Proverbs 12:28 Proverbs 13:9 Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! "What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits to me? How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Great peace have those who love Your law. "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! "Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God! For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. "Do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life. The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. "Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Whoever is steadfast in righteousness will live, but he who pursues evil will die. "In the path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. "The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Proverbs 13:13 Proverbs 14:27 Proverbs 15:9 Proverbs 23:17 Proverbs 23:26 Ecclesiastes 11:9 Ecclesiastes 12:1 Ecclesiastes 12:13 14 Isaiah 40:29 31 Isaiah 41:10 Isaiah 43:1 Jeremiah 29:11 Lamentations 3:24 Micah 6:8 Habakkuk 3:18 19 Matthew 5:6 Matthew 5:8 "Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded. "The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death. "The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but He loves him who pursues righteousness. "Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the LORD all the day. "My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways. Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, I have no pleasure in them. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. " The LORD is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him. "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? "I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. GOD, the Lord, is my strength. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Matthew 5:16 Matthew 6:20 Matthew 6:33 Matthew 7:7 Matthew 7:13 14 Matthew 7:21 Matthew 10:22 Matthew 10:32 33 Matthew 11:28 30 Matthew 16:26 Matthew 19:17 Matthew 24:4 Matthew 25:23 Matthew 28:20 Mark 13:37 Luke 1:50 Luke 2:52 Luke 8:15 Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. The one who endures to the end will be saved. Everyone who acknowledges Me before men, I also will acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny before My Father who is in heaven. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? If you would enter life, keep the commandments. See that no one leads you astray. Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. What I say to you I say to all: Stay awake. His mercy is for those who fear Him from generation to generation. Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. "As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

Luke 10:42 Luke 11:28 Luke 12:48 Luke 16:10 Luke 17:33 Luke 21:36 John 1:12 John 1:16 John 1:17 John 3:16 John 3:36 John 5:24 John 6:35 John 6:39 John 6:68 John 7:16 17 John 8:12 John 8:31 32 But one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her. Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it! Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more. One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. Stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man. But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. And from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. Whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given Me, but raise it up on the last day. Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone s will is to do God s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on My own authority. I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

John 10:11 John 10:14 John 10:27 28 John 12:36 John 13:17 John 14:6 John 14:15 John 14:21 John 14:27 John 15:5 John 15:9 10 John 17:3 John 17:11 John 17:15 John 18:37 Acts 4:12 Acts 10:35 Acts 20:32 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father s commandments and abide in His love. And this is eternal life, that they know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one. I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. But in every nation anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him. And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Acts 24:16 Romans 1:16 Romans 1:17 Romans 6:11 12 Romans 8:6 Romans 8:14 Romans 8:38 39 Romans 10:9 Romans 10:11 Romans 12:2 Romans 12:12 Romans 12:21 Romans 14:8 Romans 14:17 Romans 15:13 So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man. I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. The righteous shall live by faith. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord s. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. 1 Corinthians 1:7 9 Our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:30 Because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

1 Corinthians 3:16 17 Do you not know that you are God s temple and that God s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God s temple, God will destroy him. For God s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Corinthians 6:20 You were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 7:23 You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men. 1 Corinthians 10:12 Let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 13:13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 2 Corinthians 1:21 22 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 2 Corinthians 6:1 Working together with Him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 Corinthians 6:18 "I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 8:5 But they gave themselves first to the Lord. 2 Corinthians 9:6 Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 13:14 "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Galatians 2:20 Galatians 5:16 "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Galatians 5:22 23 Galatians 5:24 Galatians 6:7 8 Galatians 6:9 Ephesians 1:3 Ephesians 2:8 9 Ephesians 2:10 Ephesian 3:14 21 Ephesians 4:1 Ephesians 5:8 Ephesians 5:17 Philippians 1:6 Philippians 1:9 11 Philippians 1:21 Philippians 1:27 Philippians 2:5 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. [I bow my knees before the Father,] that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. Now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. "I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. "It is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12 Philippians 3:14 Philippians 4:8 Philippians 4:11 13 Philippians 4:13 Colossians 2:6 7 Colossians 3:2 Colossians 3:17 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me His own. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. "Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 1 Thessalonians 2:11 12 For you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 This is the will of God, your sanctification. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test everything; hold fast what is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 24 The God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it. 2 Thessalonians 2:16 17 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 1 Timothy 1:5 The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 1 Timothy 4:8 Godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 1 Timothy 6:11 Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.

1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:13 14 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in His testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 1:8 Do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord. 2 Timothy 2:3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:5 An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 2 Timothy 2:19 God s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: The Lord knows those who are His. 2 Timothy 2:22 Flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 2 Timothy 3:14 15 Continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Philemon 4 6 Hebrews 3:7 8 Hebrews 10:23 Hebrews 10:38 39 Hebrews 11:6 Hebrews 12:1 2 Hebrews 12:14 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. But my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith. Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Hebrews 13:8 Hebrews 13:9 Hebrews 13:14 Hebrews 13:20 21 James 1:12 James 1:17 James 1:18 James 1:21 James 1:22 James 3:13 James 4:7 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. It is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. 1 Peter 1:25 The word of the Lord remains forever. And this word is the good news that was preached to you. 1 Peter 2:9 You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 3:15 In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 5:8 9 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

1 Peter 5:10 11 After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18 Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:7 If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:24 25 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He made to us eternal life. 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming. 1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. 1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. 1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 2 John 8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 2 John 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 3 John 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3 John 11 Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God. Jude 20 21 Revelation 2:10 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also conquered and sat down with My Father on His throne. Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come? I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be My son. Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.
