4 Calling for your stories of ENCOUNTER! Community is built one interaction at a time. There are any number of barriers between any two people connecting (real and perceived). When was a time you crossed a barrier to be a neighbor, or someone did for you? This can be a big scenario [i.e. a time of trial where someone did something needed], or something small [when you had a nothing-is-going-right day, and someone smiled at you]. We will be collecting stories throughout June. These will eventually be 1-2 pages typed. You may submit a typed story, a handwritten story or orally recount the story for Stacey to help you craft written word. At your request, these stories may be anonymous. As we think together in worship about living into community and what Growing in faith, embracing our neighbor looks like, your stories are vital. Please contact Stacey with any questions. An ending is always a beginning... It has been a pleasure serving as the District Superintendent of the Corridor District for the last three years. Working with the clergy and laity in this district has been a rewarding experience with many wonderful memories I will treasure. You have welcomed me into the life your congregation and it has been a joy to get know all of you. I have been inspired by your ministry and your love for God s people. My hope is that you continue the work of being disciples to make more disciples, being in ministry with rather than in ministry to or for, and continue to work together to live the connection. I look forward to seeing what God will do in you and through you as you continue on this journey of faith. Grace and peace, Welcome to the Reverend Carol Goehring, the new District Superintendent for the Corridor District!

5 Please submit orders and payment by Sunday July 12!
