Resurrection Life of Jesus Church DECEPTION IN THE END TIMES RLJ-1418 JOHN S. TORELL NOVEMBER 17, 2013 PART 15: THE THIRTEENTH TRIBE THE JEWISH REJECTION OF THE MESSIAH When Lucifer became unhappy with his position as an anointed cherub, he presented himself to the angels as an alternative to God, and asked the angels to join him in dethroning God. When the Devil learned that God the Father was going to send Jesus the Son into the world be the Messiah, first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles that would come to Him, Satan decided to provide the world with a counterfeit messiah, who would be possessed by Lucifer himself. Revelation 13:4 When the real Messiah came to the people of Israel, the Kabbalistic leadership rejected him and told the people that Jesus was not the Messiah. John 1:10-14 Satan did not know the exact role the Messiah would play in reconciling the human race to God. 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 In his fuming hate of God and Jesus, Satan decided to murder Jesus, and once and for all destroy the redemption plan that God had for the human race. Matthew 26:3-5; 57-68; 27:17-26 The resurrection of Jesus from the dead was a hard blow to Satan and his fallen angels as they had failed to stop God from his redemptive work for the human race. Matthew 28:1-7, 18-20; Revelation 1:10-18 When Satan tried to destroy the followers of Jesus, he discovered that he could not match the power of the Holy Ghost. Acts 4:1-22 A NEW POLLUTION The Devil and his fallen angels realized that their efforts to prove that God is not righteous were failing and they were running out of options. In desperation, Satan devised a final battle plan of polluting the Jewish people and attacking the Church of Jesus Christ by polluting the message of Jesus and killing off as many Christians as possible. It took the Devil some 600 years to find the right people that he could possess and mold into a fierce God hating people that would be willing to do his bidding. This group of people became known as the 13 th tribe of Israel. Remember this: Satan has a long term plan for his activities on this earth and since he established the Kabbalistic doctrine some 2,000 years before Christ he has been working on the project of establishing his world wide kingdom that Jesus exposed in chapter 13 in the book of Revelation. As we look back in history, we can trace the diabolic work that Satan has done. P.O. Box 166 Sheridan, CA 95681 (888) 708-3232 www.eaec.org

THE KHAZAR KINGDOM The Khazar kingdom existed from about 618-968 A.D., a period of 350 years. Khazaria was located between the Black Sea and the Bulgar kingdom to the west, the Caspian Sea to the east, the Caucus Mountains on its southern border and north into what is today southern Russia. The capital city of Ityl was located in the delta of the Volga River that flowed into the Caspian Sea. The Khazars were a mixture of a number of nationalities, ranging from Mongols, Siberian tribes, Bulgars, Persians and Turkic nomadic tribes from the vast steppes in the east. There had been bloody wars fought by different tribes over hundreds of years for control over what became known as Khazaria. The fighting continued from 618-670 A.D. until a coalition of what became known as Khazars took control and established a kingdom in 670, consisting of more than 25 different ethnic groups. Around 750 A.D. the king of Khazaria made the decision to convert to Judaism. His entire family, the aristocrats, the military establishment most of the people converted to Judaism and this became the state religion for the next 298 years. The king invited Jewish rabbis to establish synagogues and other Jewish learning centers in Khazaria in order for the people to be duly trained as converts. Jewish businessmen and other Jews became excited that a new Jewish state had been created since the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. The Khazars adopted the Old Testament, the Talmud and the Kabbalah. They kept the feast days and all males were circumcised. As practicing Jews, they too rejected Jesus as the Messiah and considered Christians to be infidels worthy of death. Jesus had warned about these converts when he walked on earth. Matthew 23:15 In the 7 th century it is estimated that Khazaria numbered 1.4 million people. When the kingdom broke up in 968, Judaism had been their religion for more than 200 years and four generations of Khazars had been raised to strictly observe Judaism. They did not feel like they were Gentiles anymore but viewed themselves as Jewish and the descendants of the twelve tribes; they considered themselves the thirteenth tribe. Many Jews who were blood descendants of Abraham settled in Khazaria. They were rabbis, traders, craftsmen, educators, and after 200 years, they had intermarried with Khazar Jews and Khazaria became a melting pot of Gentile- Jewish offspring, who considered themselves 100% Jewish. Synagogues were built and thousands of young Khazars were trained to become rabbis. Instead of accepting Jesus as the Messiah under the second covenant, they embraced the first covenant that was no longer in force. Satan had done his homework and he had got a group of people that actually hated Jesus more than the blood descendants of Abraham. 2

WHAT MODERN JEWS SAY ABOUT KHAZARS People in the 21 st century have access to the Internet and there is a lot of information available about the Khazars. Modern Jewish leaders present material that marginalizes the Khazar Jews and states that they existed, but there were not many of them, and there might be some that mixed in with Jews in Russia and Poland. They try to twist the truth because support for Israel and Jews in general would suffer if it could be proven that a large portion of the Jewish population in the world today are of Khazar origin and not blood descendants to Abraham. Rabbi Solomon Grayzel s book, A HISTORY OF THE JEWS, was used as a textbook in American Jewish learning institutions and synagogues. It was written after World War II and the great slaughter of Jews under the Nazi régime in Germany. Grayzel acknowledged that the story of Khazaria is true and pointed out that during the time Khazaria existed, it was referred to as a Jewish kingdom. In addition to what they were doing for the revival of the European mind in general, the Jews developed their own culture. The two centuries after 711 witness a slow but steady accumulation of knowledge. Then the Golden Age opened with one of its most remarkable men. Hasdai ibn Shaprut (925-975) started his career as a physician and always remained one, never giving up his interest in medical experiments, especially in drugs. In time, he became physician to the khalif (Islamic ruler of Spain at that time) to whom he also rendered distinguished service as unofficial adviser on matters of state. In the course of his diplomatic correspondence he established communication with the Jewish kingdom of the Khazars in southeastern Russia. 1 Judah ha-levi was a Spanish Jewish physician, poet and philosopher who lived from 1075-1141. Here is what Grayzel wrote about him:.judah ha-levi was another example of a poet who was also a philosopher. He named his book The Kuzari, after the Khazars; for he used the story of their conversion to Judaism as the thread on which to hang his discussion of the merits of Judaism, Mohammedanism and Christianity. He introduced his book by giving each religion a spokesman who defends it against the criticism of the other two, the Khazar king and his court acting as judges. Naturally, it is the spokesman for Judaism who gets the best of the argument and finally wins the Khazar king over to the Jewish faith. Thereupon the Jew instructs the king in Jewish life and its meaning. This book was written in Arabic. Translated into Hebrew, it has enjoyed 1 Solomon Grayzel, A HISTORY OF THE JEWS, Jewish Publication Society of America, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1948, p.325 3

great popularity among the Jews, serving to bolster up faith in Judaism during days of trial and distress. 2 Russia emerged as a unified nation with its capitol of Kiev late in the 10 th century. Tension rose between Russia and Khazaria since the Khazars hindered the Russians from sailing down the Volga River and into the Caspian Sea. In 968 the Russian army overran Khazaria and the city of Sarkel fell in 965; the capital of Itil was conquered, looted and destroyed in 968. Here is what Grayzel wrote about this event:.when the Khazar kingdom was defeated by the Moscovite Russians, many Jews among them joined such others as had already penetrated Russia. Kiev, especially profited from this migration, remaining the most prosperous and progressive Russian town down to the thirteenth century. Vague references to Jews, whose native language was Russian and who read the Bible in Russian, are to be found in the responsa (rabbinic literature) of the rabbis in Germany in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Whether these were the descendants of the Khazars or the Crimean Jews is impossible to say. Probably they were a mixture of both. Nor does it make any difference, except to those interested in fanciful theories of race than in matters of religion and humanity About the middle of the thirteenth century the steppes of Russia were overrun by hordes of Tatars. The territory now called Ukraine was given over to fire and sword. Much of the population fled westward, into the Carpathian Mountains and beyond. Many Jews settled in the territory, which, at that time, was being organized into a new state, Poland. Here they were to meet other Jews who were coming into Poland from Western Europe. 3 Arthur Koestler s book, THE THIRTEENTH TRIBE, has been the most extensive work on the Khazar kingdom to date. Koestler was born to Jewish parents in Budapest. After a college degree in science and psychology in Vienna,, he became a foreign correspondent in 1925 and worked for a number of European newspapers and covered the Middle East, Paris, Berlin, Russia and Spain. He joined the German Communist Party in 1931 but resigned in 1938 because of the brutality of Stalin. During the Spanish Civil war he covered the Spanish government side and was captured by the Fascists but due to international pressure he was released. When World War II broke out in 1939, the French government put him in a detention camp, but the British government put pressure on the French government and he was released in 1940 and escaped to England, where he joined the British Army. When the war was over in 1945, he became a British citizen and wrote about 30 books in English. He was invited to Stanford University in California in 1964-65, where he taught advanced studies in behavioral science. He was given two prestigious recognitions by the 2 Ibid, p.333 3 Ibid, pp.444-445 4

British government for his literature works. In 1976 Koestler was diagnosed with Parkinson s disease and leukemia in 1980. He and his wife decided to commit suicide in 1983 since he didn t want to die a slow death. I have included this information to show that Koestler wasn t hostile to fellow Jews nor was he involved in any far out political group. He was a researcher that wanted to produce a true record of the Khazar kingdom and the Jewish people. His book proves that the Khazar kingdom existed, that its king and ruling class converted to Judaism and that in time the Khazar nation was regarded as a Jewish kingdom. Both Solomon Grayzel and Arthur Koestler agree that the Khazar Jews migrated into Russia, and later when the Mongolian invasion of Asia took place, the majority of Khazar Jews fled to Russia and Eastern Europe. My conclusion from these two sources and from general research on the subject is that millions of Jews from Russia, Poland and other East European nations are the offspring of Khazar Jews and not blood descendants to Abraham. THE MONGOLIAN INVASION As the Viking invasions devastated Western Europe, the Devil had a second evil plan to unleash a horde of Mongolians that were to swarm Europe and finish off any trace of Christianity. Satan also needed to move his Khazar Jews to Russia and Eastern Europe, so that in the 19 th century he could use them to form the communist movement and Zionism. The ultimate goal of Satan was to reestablish the Jewish state in Palestine and make Jerusalem its capital. The Devil selected a Mongolian named Genghis Temujin (1162-1227) to be the leader of the Mongolian Empire. The word for emperor in the Mongolian language is Khan and this man became known as Genghis Khan. Satan had placed powerful demon princes over China and Mongolia and these rulers have pitted the Chinese and the Mongolians against each other for thousands of years. Genghis was a pagan who worshipped demon gods and Satan instilled his nature and power into this man, who decided that it was his right to kill people and establish a vast empire. Once he took possession of an area, he considered it his personal property and the people living there were now his slaves. Genghis began his bloody rule by taking control of all nomadic tribes in and around Mongolia, and in some instances he ordered the entire civilian population slaughtered. By the end of his life, Genghis had carved out an empire that encompassed central Asia and portions of China. He appointed Ogedei as the next Khan before his death, who in 1235 ordered the attack on Russia, which at the time occupied Khazaria. As the Mongolian hordes swarmed into Russian territory, the civilian population fled to avoid death, destruction, looting and rape. Half of Russia s population was slaughtered during this invasion. Ogedei had acquired the secret of producing gun powder, which had been developed by the Chinese in 1044. Catapults were used to sling bombs and 5

tubes were used to fire pellets at the enemy. These new weapons created havoc with the opposing armies. Among the millions fleeing west were Khazar Jews who ended up in what is today northern Russia, the Baltic nations, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Thus the large population of Jewry in these nations consisted of Khazar Jews, who after hundreds of years had dropped the name Khazars and simply called themselves Jews. The Mongolian hordes invaded Hungary in 1241 and experienced difficulty in defeating the Hungarian army. In 1242 Ogedei Kahn died and different family members rushed back to Mongolia to fight over the throne of the empire. From 1241-1248, different family members of Ogedei fought each other for control of the empire and the attacks in Europe ceased. The Mongols continued their attacks on Poland from 1259-1287, against the Byzantine Empire from 1265-1337, against Bulgaria from 1241-1285, against Hungary in 1280 where theys were defeated and also against Serbia in 1293. The Mongolian Empire was divided up in four parts in 1294 between the ruling family members, and in its weakened condition, it ceased to exist in 1368. The Devil was happy after 140 years of terror. He had sent millions to hell, rearranged the nations in Asia and Eastern Europe, and moved his Khazar Jews in Russia and Eastern Europe, where they were going to be used 400 years later to foment his move of Communism, Fascism, Nazism and Zionism. SUMMARY There is a spiritual law that if a person rejects God, He will also reject them and will become spiritually blinded. Isaiah 6:9-11; Matthew 13:10-15; 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 When the Jewish leadership rejected Jesus as the Messiah and demanded his crucifixion, they cursed themselves and became spiritually blinded. This curse still hangs over Jewish people today and will be there until Jesus returns. Only the grace of God can open the spiritual eyes of a Jew so that he can be saved. Matthew 27:22-25 When the Khazar king selected Judaism over Jesus, he was spiritually blinded and so were his people. This spiritual blindness was not just for that generation, but for future generations of Khazars. Only the grace of God can open the spiritual eyes of a Khazar Jew. If your spiritual eyes are open, you are blessed. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 Remember, it s not so important how you begin your life after salvation, but how you finish it! Do you have an ear to hear with? 6
