Dear Father, We rejoice and are exceedingly grateful that You have granted us life and breath for another day! We praise You for Your love and care! Please accept our gifts of honor and thanksgiving as we begin a New Year. Help us to make good choices. Renew our souls and strengthen Your Spirit within us. Clear our lives of anything weighing us down and diminishing our faith. Fill us with a renewed sense of joy. Help us keep focused on You. Allow our resolutions to be in line with Your will. Help us complete the tasks You set before us. Accept our prayers and worship. Help us live our lives in a way that is pleasing to you. Restore us Father. Father, there are so many who are hurting and need You. Grant the comfort of Your resurrection to those who have lost loved ones. Remind them that they WILL be reunited. I beg healing for those who have been wounded physically, spiritually, or emotionally. Allow all of us to be used by You to care for any and all in need. Break the chains of sin and oppression. Increase our faith. Help us to trust You. Forgive our sins and help us to resist any and all temptations. Strengthen our resolve towards Your service. Open our mouths to proclaim Your goodness throughout the world. Help us trust You to give us all our resources. Allow us to hear Your voice and respond to Your call. Father I ask for blessings on LWML. Allow our hands to be used in Your service. Bless all missionaries and help us to assist them in their work. As we prepare for our January meeting, I ask Your hand to be upon us. Go before us each day and make our paths smooth. We thank and praise and honor You, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior and Risen King! Amen Mission Goal Outreach Report January 2018 Page 1

All participants will be given Gospel literature and guidance for further contact with LHM in India and local churches and volunteers. Mission Goal Outreach Report January 2018 Page 2

Lutheran World Relief needs Fabric Kits You ve maybe heard the analogy about teaching someone to fish well you can help teach a person to sew and provide the tools to earn an income and break out of poverty. Project Promise Fabric Kits are used in vocational training programs to teach young men and women useful, marketable skills. Cover them with love! Please see LWR.org for further details Look what I found on LWML.org! Sharing Jesus' Love through Action- A Year's Work of Mission Service Activities January's Plan Guide Nurture Faith in Christ: Start the year in a positive way so you can be a blessing to others. Wake up 15 minutes earlier and spend it alone reading the Bible, inspirational material and prayer. Set a goal to increase by 5 minutes every three months. Make Our Faith Meaningful: At church, collect canned soup and boxed crackers in a large soup kettle. Then give the "Souper Bowl of Caring" to a local food pantry or soup kitchen. For extra credit volunteer at the food pantry or soup kitchen. Sharing Encouragement: Start a secret pal prayer partner progrm for the ladies in your congregation. Ask the ladies to commit to praying daily for their partner and suggest small acts of kindnes to do throughout the year. Mission Goal Outreach Report January 2018 Page 3
