[SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL EDITION] 3 August, 2009 Editor: Akbar Abdullah CALIFORNIA JAMA AT PROJECT: APPROVED BY THE CENTRAL ANJUMAN, LAHORE CONDOLENCES Editor s Note It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow we condole the demise of our sister, Qudsiya Haq, affectionately known as Qudsiya Apa, wife of Wing Commander Ehsan ul Haq and youngest daughter of Maulana Muhammad Ali (of the blessed memory), who returned to Allah on July 27, 2009. We also condole with a very sad heart the passing away of Sister Zamurad Ramzan, wife of the late Brother Fazil Ramzan, who expired at Rawalpindi, Pakistan on August 1 st, 2009. Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilehi Rajeoon. Our thoughts and prayers are that Allah Almighty, in His infinite mercy and compassion, will grant eternal peace, solace and happiness to the dearly departed souls of Begums Qudsiya Haq (Apa) and Zamurad Ramzan and bestow on them an abode in the highest pedestal of Heaven, Jannate-Firdous (Aameen). All of us further wish that our Lord God, with His cherished blessings, will grant to the surviving families, relatives and the Jama at a source of spiritual and physical strength and comfort in their grief and anguish to bear the burden of this irreparable personal loss (Aameen). We pray that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul eternal peace and a place in the highest pedestal of Jannat. We also pray that Compassionate and Merciful Allah grant strength, comfort and sabr to the members of the bereaved family and to the members of the Jamaat aameen. I met Begum Zamurad many times in Holland during their conventions and jalsas, as well as in Pakistan. She was a very dedicated lady and in Holland ran classes teaching children how to recite the Holy Quran and prayers. Many Allah bless her soul (Amin). TARYABETTI CLASSES 2009 Editor s Note The Taryabetti classes of 2009 are now in session at Darus Salam s Central Mosque in Lahore Pakistan. On the day of his return from the United Kingdom, Hazrat Ameer-i-Qaum, Professor and Dr. Abdul Karim Saeed Pasha Sahib officially opened the session with a du a to mark the complete success of the Taryabetti programme of 2009. Hazrat Ameer also welcomed the guests and students, amongst whom Sis Khalida of Suriname and Brother Shaukat A. Ali, Coordinator, Asia-Pacific Region, are attending the 2009 study programme. Jazak Allah! We wish and pray for the complete success of this year s teaching programme and that it be spiritually fulfilling to those participating in it. Aameen.
