Deluxe 10 day holyland tour Daily Itinerary Day 1 Tuesday, USA / Israel Our journey of a lifetime begins with a departure from Chicago s O Hare International Airport. We will depart in the morning to Newark International Airport. After a brief layover, we will depart for our 9-hour flight to Tel Aviv. We will be served dinner and breakfast. Day 2 Wednesday, Tel Aviv / Tiberias After arriving mid-morning in Tel Aviv, we will clear customs and immigration formalities and board our modern, air-conditioned, luxury motor coach. We will take a scenic, two-hour drive to Tiberias/Galilee. We will have a beautiful stop along the way at Caesarea by the Sea (Acts 10 & 25). Then on to the Leonardo Plaza. This beautiful, 5-star hotel is located within walking distance of downtown Tiberias and is right on the Sea of Galilee. Our first of many delicious, buffet meals will be served upon arrival. Wailing Wall Day 3 Thursday, Sea of Galilee Boat Ride / Capernaum / Golan Heights / Caesarea Philippi We will start this morning with a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We will arrive at a place that Christ knew well Capernaum. In Capernaum are the remains of what is believed to be Peter s House. This is the region where Christ spent much of His early ministry (Matthew 4:13). We will then proceed up the Golan Heights and drive to Tel Dan, the northernmost city of ancient Israel (Judges 18:29). Next, we will see Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus and His disciples went for peace and quiet (Mark 8:27). Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. Day 4 Friday, Cana / Nazareth / Tel Megiddo / Baptism We depart Tiberias this morning, and the first stop is Cana, the site of the first miracle of Jesus (John 2). Then, we will drive by Nazareth, the city where Jesus would have grown up as a child (Luke 1 & 2). From there, we head to Megiddo, an ancient city of King Solomon and the site of the future battle of Armageddon (I Kings 9:15; Rev. 16:16). We will also tour the ruins of Beth Shean a fascinating city that you will truly enjoy exploring. After seeing the historical caves of Qumran, we will continue our journey to our next five-star hotel the Hod Resort, located right on the Dead Sea. Dinner and Overnight Dan Panoram, Jerusalem Day 7 Monday, Bethlehem / Temple Mount / Pool of Bethesda After breakfast this morning, we remember the birth of our Savior as we visit Bethlehem. Then it s into the heart of Jerusalem. As we enter the Old City walls, we come upon the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) of Herod s Temple. Beyond that lies the 35-acre temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel 24:18 25). On this site stands the magnificent Dome of the Rock (the third holiest site in all of Islam). Next, we tour the old city streets and see the ancient ruins of the Cardo. We will have a fascinating time of discovery in the Rabbinical Tunnel Tour where you will be underground looking at the actual foundation stones of the Temple Mount. We will also see the site of the Pool of Bethesda (John 5). As we trace the steps of the last hours of our Savior, we will see the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was held during his trial. Our next stop is Gethsemane. As you kneel next to the olive trees, you can only imagine what Christ must have endured. We will travel to Calvary and the Place of the Skull. We will then have a special time of communion and reflection at the Garden Tomb. This will be a moving time of reflection and dedication as we pray at the place where our Savior died and rose again.
