Pastor Scott Sterling will lead the teaching for this service. Holy Friday - March 30 7:30 pm This is a quiet, reflective service where we look at the events of Jesus last day. Easter Sunday Morning April 1st Join us for a celebration of New Life for Jesus and for us. Please bring finger foods to share before and after the service. WE ARE A GREEN CONGREGATION We are set up to recycle: Aluminum cans, plastic bottles with CRV, cell phones, printer cartridges, toner cartridges batteries, e-waste, and eyeglasses. In our thrift shop we recycle: Home goods, clothing, small furniture, jewelry, dishes, decorative items, stuff, items, and things. Get your friends and neighbors to help. HOPE FOR A FIND An unusual thrift store Get that stuff out of your life and into the life of the church. We need your donations. Let us worry about what can be used. Nothing is wasted. We share what we cannot process. Any questions please contact: Ursula Krummel CARING MINISTRY Special thanks to Scott Sterling for helping lead this group. And, thanks you to all who attended this training. As we move into the future, some of these people will be part of the team that helps the pastor with visits to the ill and homebound. SNAIL-MAIL FOR THE KIDS We want the kids to know that we know them and care about them. Nancy Grunbok sends the kids a mailing for our special occasions - a coloring page or a page about Jesus or a simple invitation. If you d like to have a kid you know receive this mail, please let Nancy know. JOAN OF ARCADIA We are meeting each Wednesday at noon. Bring a sack lunch. We watch an episode of Joan then we discuss it in the light of real life and the love of God. SHORT ATTENTION SPAN SUDAY SCHOOL We are currently using Wearing God by Lauren Winner for our study. It looks at God through all the Biblical pictures of clothing, laughter, fire, and others as they relate to knowing God. NAVAJO EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN MISSION AND SCHOOL Remember: You can still send the box tops for education from General Mills to Solheim Lutheran Home or the Mission.

Joyce Hall, Emily McPeters, Robert Grunbok, and Ruth Weick who volunteer in the shops. Nancy Grunbok who send out notes for us. Linda Kampmeyer for help in the office Valerie Angello for all our power point lyrics, graphics, and announcements. Nancy Grunbok who takes care of recycling the printer cartridges and leads the Congregational Life Team. Steve Pepe who recycles our bottles and cans. David Boardman for all the donations John Angello, Jessica Mears, and Lyn Moore who prepare and present the messages when Pastor George is out of town. Aimee Mears who helps us with communications Ursula Krummel who takes care of our flowers for the altar and our newsletter, takes care of new member and baptism celebrations, and cleans up the pantry. Jessica Mears who is our Talent Liaison. Brenda Toepfer who helps in the office. Reid Loken, Marty Lorentzen, Jessica Mears, and John Angello our volunteer band members. Lynn Moore who takes on legal issues for us and leads the worship team. Gene Schmidt who buys and delivers boxes for our food pantry. Renee Wells who brings us Avon boxes to use in our pantry REMEMBER TO SAY THANK YOU! Above is a list of volunteers. It is not everyone nor all that is done. The Church of Hope Outreach Team Reid Loken is our Outreach Team Liaison for the Board of Directors. Please pray for Reid and his team as they search out tools for our outreach efforts. When they give us tools to use for outreach, let s use them.
