Marilyn Swartz on April 9 Dale Gingrich on April 12 Andrew Ranck on April 14 To Teach or Not to Teach A man, wondering if he should take a Sunday school class he had been asked to teach, found this article from the Atlanta Prison used to introduce a speaker: This is the story of two boys who grew up as neighbors and the best of friends. They were the same age and came from the same type of solid, middle class backgrounds and income levels. They were involved in the same type of activities, went to the same schools, attended the same church and Sunday school classes. One of the boys eventually decided church and Sunday school were a drag and dropped out. The other boy found meaning in them and continued on. That boy became a well-known, highly respected Atlanta minister with a large congregation. He has agreed to address this prison group today. The other boy, the one who dropped out of church and Sunday school, is the prisoner standing here before you introducing the speaker. Do you think the man reading the article went ahead to teach the Sunday school class, or not?
