THE LITURGY OF THE WORD reading Isaiah 61:1 4, 8 11 The spirit Lord God upon me, because Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to oppressed, to bind up brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and release to proners; to proclaim year Lord s favor, and day vengeance our God; to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion to give m a garland instead ashes, oil gladness instead mourning, mantle prae instead a faint spirit. They will be called oaks righteousness, planting Lord, to dplay h glory.
