The Importance of Paying Your Dues In the next month, you will receive a Dues Request from the Faithful Comptroller for the coming year. While most members pay their dues in a timely manner, there is an important reason for doing so. A member not in good standing relinquishes his right to a Chalice Ceremony following his demise. Share this information with your family so that in the event you are incapacitated, they can make sure your dues are kept current. In Times of Grief In the event of the passing of a Sir Knight or Lady who belongs to the Assembly, the family should contact either the Faithful Navigator or Faithful Comptroller. They can assist the family in developing plans for services that include ceremonies by the Fourth Degree and can also provide direction in making contact with the Knights of Columbus Insurance Agent.
