Galatians 5:13-15 (NLT) 13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself. 15 But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. 4.

2 Samuel 9:1 (NLT) One day David asked, Is anyone in Saul s family still alive anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan s sake? 5. Is there anyone I can show God s faithful love to for Jesus s sake? 6.

1 Samuel 20:14-15 (NLT) 14 And may you treat me with the faithful love of the Lord as long as I live. But if I die, 15 treat my family with this faithful love, even when the Lord destroys all your enemies from the face of the earth. 7. 1 Samuel 20:16-17 (NLT) 16 So Jonathan made a solemn pact with David, saying, May the Lord destroy all your enemies! 17 And Jonathan made David reaffirm his vow of friendship again, for Jonathan loved David as he loved himself. 8.

Galatians 5:14 (NLT) For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself. 9. Leviticus 19:17-18 (NLT) 17 Do not nurse hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin. 18 Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. 10.

2 Samuel 9:1-2 (NLT) 1 One day David asked, Is anyone in Saul s family still alive anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan s sake? 2 He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul s servants. Are you Ziba? the king asked. Yes sir, I am, Ziba replied. 13. 2 Samuel 9:3-4 (NLT) 3 The king then asked him, Is anyone still alive from Saul s family? If so, I want to show God s kindness to them. Ziba replied, Yes, one of Jonathan s sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet. 4 Where is he? the king asked. In Lo-debar, Ziba told him, at the home of Makir son of Ammiel. 14.

2 Samuel 9:5-6 (NLT) 5 So David sent for him and brought him from Makir s home. 6 His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan s son and Saul s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, Greetings, Mephibosheth. Mephibosheth replied, I am your servant. 15. 2 Samuel 9:7-8 (NLT) 7 Don t be afraid! David said. I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king s table! 8 Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me? 16.

2 Samuel 9:11 (NLT) Ziba replied, Yes, my lord the king; I am your servant, and I will do all that you have commanded. And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly at David s table, like one of the king s own sons. 17. 18.

2 Samuel 9:12-13 (NLT) 12 Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica. From then on, all the members of Ziba s household were Mephibosheth s servants. 13 And Mephibosheth, who was crippled in both feet, lived in Jerusalem and ate regularly at the king s table. 19. Proverbs 25:21-22 (NLT) 21 If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. 22 You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you. 20.

21. Is God inviting you to remember His faithful love like Jonathan? to receive His faithful love like Mephebosheth? show His faithful love like David? 22.
